Here is a question on the state of the sanctuary. With Lusamine gone, and the other two kids possibly running the place, what would have changed?
//This is my third time writing this and I’m not happy. Mycomputer thinks that I hit the back button and nothing is saved so now I haveto go into word to type this out… I’m sorry this took so long. And btw this isfor the game verses only.
In terms of what would have changed, If Ultra Sun/Ultra Moonkeeps the plot point that Lillie leaves for Kanto at the end of the game, thenit’s just Gladion left to potentially become the Aether Foundation President. ThoughI don’t think he would be a full time president, partially because I can’treally see him pushing papers and attending meetings at all and another reasonis that he pushes himself to become stronger. He can’t really strengthen thebond between himself and his pokemon by being the President. Though later on inhis life I do think he’ll take the full-time position after he decides toretire from being a trainer, but that’s probably when he’s in his mid-twentiesto early thirties.
In terms of the Foundation members themselves, I don’t thinkthat everyone was in the loop about Lusamine’s true plan or her involvementwith Team Skull at all. And after the crisis in the main story played out Iwould imagine some could have felt guilt for not doing anything to help the protagonist. This gets more prevalent and out of hand when Gladion discovers a ShinyType:Null sealed within the labs after the events of the game. He takes it upon himself to take care of it,with Silvally and his other pokemon helping.
Though he starts to notice the Type: Null’s behavioralpatterns and mannerisms start to coincide and match his long-lost sister,Chivalry. He becomes concerned that this Type: Null might actually be hismissing sister. So he decides one day to call Chivalry’s name to see if the Type:Null responds. Unfortunately, and fortunately, depending on which way you lookat it the Type: Null does respond to the name, causing Gladion to nearly gointo a crying fit due to the overwhelming emotions he suddenly feels. On onehand, Chivalry is alive and well. On the other hand, she’s now a pokemon withdestructive abilities. And the inability to think clearly due to the inhibitormask.
Chivalry didn’t fully remember Gladion at that time, shejust had a sense of recognition when that name was called. When it was revealedthat Chivalry was indeed the Shiny Type: Null, some members of the foundationleft because they couldn’t handle that the once sweet and gentle Chivalry wasnow permanently harmed by her mother’s own hands. DNA tests were run to doublecheck, and there was human DNA in her belonged to Chivalry, so unless the ShinyType: Null was injected with Chivalry’s DNA this was Chivalry.
Again, Chivalry starts to remember her past andrelationships with other people when the mask is removed.
I would think that the Foundation would be much more carefulwith who they hire after the incident, and be more considerate and careful inthe future. I never thought that the Aether Foundation was always evil, so Idon’t think that much would have changed besides new, stricter hiringguidelines, especially when it came to Chivalry’s care. She would have toreturn to the Foundation for physical and mental checkups due to her already prominenthigh- functioning Autism and possible other issues arising from hertransformation.
Like I said, I never thought the Aether Foundation wascompletely evil. Some things would have changed, like Gladion becoming apart-time president and all that but the Foundation wouldn’t have changed muchfrom what it was before. Some volunteers would have left or resigned due to theUltra Space Incident and Chivalry’s transformation shocks, but those thatremained strive even harder to make the world a better place for both humansand pokemon.
So yeah. That’s really all I’ve got in regard to yourquestion. Thanks for sending this in! ^^//
