How he was in the in-between and slowly lost his memory as time went on because of being a time traveler? And how he kept journals of all his travels?

That’s how I imagine Regulus in different stories. It's always the same Regulus, but slightly different. Maybe different hair lengths, maybe different piercings, or maybe different tattoos. He keeps several journals of the different stories. Hundreds, even.

His in-between can be anything he wants, a cottage on the French countryside, an apartment in muggle London, or the Number 12 Grimmauld Place.

He chooses.

In some stories he’s with Remus, James, Evan, or Barty. In some stories, he’s the hero. In some stories, he’s the villain.

He chooses.

In some, he gets a happy ending, in others, he doesn't. In some, he’s a father, in some, he isn't.

He chooses.

No matter what happens across thousands of stories, it’s always the same Regulus. He can retell his favorite tales, he can give you his favorite quote, or he can relive all of it again.

He chooses.

But, he’s still the same Regulus.
