Stardew Valley headcanon:

Harvey loves pistachio ice cream. He’s slightly embarrassed to admit it so much so he won’t look the Joja mart employee in the eye when he gets it. It’s a little sweet treat he likes to get for himself sometimes.

Elliot x Shane headcanons: (Slight NSFW warning at the end)

- Elliot makes his boyfriend do affirmations. He writes them down and gives them to him to say out loud. Shane thinks it’s stupid at first but one day Elliot doesn’t do them Shane is disappointed.

- Elliot loves to wash Shane’s hair, since his depression sometimes makes him lack personal hygiene. Shane loves his scalp being massaged by Elliot’s fingers.

- Elliot started waking up earlier so he could walk Shane to work. Holding his hand and even kissing him goodbye.

- Shane will be standing at the bar by the fireplace when Elliot will throw his arms around him and draw hearts on his chest with his finger.

- Elliot will sometimes just come to Joja mart to see Shane but won’t bother him knowing he’s busy. He will take pictures of him because he thinks he looks so cute in his uniform.

- As an anniversary present Elliot commissioned a blue chicken crocheted plush. Shane loves it so much it stays on his bed and he will get upset if it falls off but if things start getting “hot and heavy” he turns it around.

Harvey childhood head canons:

- Harvey was obsessed with planes and he had planes on everything. He had plane pajamas, plane bedsheets, plane toys, you name it he had it.

- Harvey was really close with his mom. He was her baby boy. His dad not so much. He pressured Harvey to do well in school and his parents were constantly fighting.

- When Harvey’s mother passed away he lost the person who understood him. His father took him to a therapist when he stopped doing…everything.

- The therapist helped but he really wasn’t the same after that. Much more anxious and struggled making friends.

- Harvey was heavily bullied throughout school making him even more socially withdrawn.

- When he was a teenager he worked really hard and was top of the class but many people at school didn’t remember him because he was so quiet.

I do love people taking their own spin on the characters body types but hear me out— my favorite take on Elliot is that he’s midsized and then has a big chest. He’s got big boobs guys.

- Elliot prefers eating outside. You’d often catch him laying on a picnic blanket with a book as he eats.

- He is no stranger to heart break. He has been engaged once before he came to Pelican town but as time passes he opens up to the idea of love again.

- Elliot tries to give people distance in relationships but he’s afraid they’ll leave him the second they get the chance so he comes off as clingy.

- Elliot published a collection of romantic short stories based on the person he ends up with after he came to Pelican town. (Famer or whoever else you want to say.)

- He loves insects which is why he asks you not to kill them if you find them in the house. He especially loves moths. His favorite is the luna moths.

Mini story I wrote TW: blood

Elliot laid two feet from his own door on his hands and knees. His long hair over his face he looked how he felt. Spit and blood pool at the corner of his lips. His breathes were shallow his hand moving from the floor to his neck as if someone was choking the life out of him. His eyes began to glisten with tears. Finally what had been stuck in his throat dribbled past his lips and next to his hand. A beautiful red rose. He had been coughing up petals for a month now. This was the first fully formed flower he had seen. He had already been to the clinic. Harvey did what he could but Hanahaki disease had but one cure. A cure that Elliot feared. Despite being a hopeless romantic Elliot had found himself frozen at the door of the saloon where he knew Shane would be. His confession held tightly between his hands so the night wind would not carry it away. He wanted to hear Shane’s voice to hold his hand. He could not deny the warmth he felt when Shane was around. However he knew how Shane could be. He knew his reputation as the town drunk. It was no secret Shane had a few issues but Elliot wanted nothing more to be by his side so that he would not face them on his own. If only his feet would move. If only his hand would grasp that doorknob. He felt like he knew Shane’s answer but now there was no closure. He wished Shane had seen him in the window but he barely looked up from his spot next to the fire place. He just wanted Shane to look his way. He ended up running home. He never made it to Shane. Now here he was on the floor his lungs burning as the roses grew. He felt so weak he didn’t know if he’d be able to pick himself up to sleep on the bed. His hands and mouth covered in blood from his coughing fit. He was still young he had dreamed of growing old with someone. There were so many things he had plans of doing but now he wasn’t so sure if he had time. He closed his eyes for a moment to collect his thoughts and they were all of him.

Elliot would be a great character for a hanahaki disease fan fiction. He’s so melodramatic and over the top about love. It would especially work with Shane because he’s really closed off. It makes for wonderful angst. Elliot growing sick because he’s in love. (Do people still do hanahaki? Feel like I haven’t heard that in forever.)
