N/N = Your Nickname for Ayumu
Everyone was suspecting your girlfriend, Ayumu, of being the killer of Kego Sakuma. But…that wasn’t possible was it? She couldn’t have murdered him right?
“So that settles that. Ayumu is the killer,” Akira bluntly stated.
“She isn’t! You seriously think Ayumu would do such a horrid act? I know her very well, she wouldn’t do such a thing!” You defended her.
“You met her as soon as we entered the killing game, you barely know her true nature, Y/N. I’m surprised you even want to date someone in a killing game-”
You cut Akira off, “She’s not the killer! I believe in her! She wouldn’t do such a thing!”
“She was the only female who went to the second floor, though,” Misuzu reminded you.
Ayumu looked at the floor with nervousness. She placed her hand on her heart and began to tremble. “No, that’s wrong,” she said, looking at Misuzu.
“Hm? Is there something wrong with my statement, Ayumu?”
“Could it be? Ayumu had evidence of another female on the floor?” Mitsunari asked, playing the role of one of his puppets.
“No, it’s not that,” she said, locking her eyes to the floor. “I…I couldn’t have killed Kego!”
“You may say that, but…can Ayumu-Chan prove it?” Marin asked, turning to look at her.
“Why couldn’t you have killed Mr. Sakuma, Ayumu?” Seishi asked her.
“It’s pretty obvious that you can’t prove a thing,” Mikoto stated.
“N/N, prove you’re not the killer…please. I believe in you,” you begged.
Ayumu sighed as she looked at the floor. Eventually, she looked up at everyone and cleared her throat.
She put her hands behind her ears and…unclipped her ponytails!? She threw them to the side.
“Everyone! I’m afraid that I must reintroduce myself.”
“My name is Ayumu Fujimori! And I…am a boy!”
Did Ayumu…really just say that!? No! Was she out of her mind!? Is she really…a boy!?
“WHAT THE FUCK!?” Kazuomi asked as his face turned purple.
“What the-!?” Narumi squeaked.
“Maybe it’s an alternate personality?” Mitsunari suggested, tilting his head to the side.
“Y-Yeah! There’s no way Ayumu’s a boy! I- I know her! She wouldn’t be a man! She’s not…” You stammered, looking for words. You didn’t know what to feel. Anger, sadness…all you felt was confusion!
“No, Ayumu has been possessed by a rogue spirit!” Kasumi said.
“If that’s the case, then I will start the exorcism immediately! We have to save Ayumu!” Misuku announced.
“No, wait! It’s really me! Take a look at my e-Handbook!” Ayumu said, she…well, he…took out his e-Handbook. He showed everyone his profile.
After the Class Trial, you immediately went to Ayumu’s room to have a private conversation with him.
“N/N, why didn’t you tell me that you’re…a boy? Why did you tell Seishi it before me?”
He looked away, but quickly looked back at you. “I…was scared…”
‘That you wouldn’t love me anymore. I didn’t want that to happen, so I just kept being a girl. I couldn’t risk it. I told Seishi first because I wanted someone to help me gain the courage to tell you. He was the best choice.”
Those words shocked you. You stood still for a moment before grabbing Ayumu’s shoulders, catching him by surprise. “Eh-!?”
“Why would I leave you!? I love you unconditionally, you know that! Even though you’re the Ultimate Unlucky Student, I don’t fear that anything bad may happen to me when I’m around you! So, I don’t care that you’re a boy. I just care…about you. Your gender doesn’t matter, you’re still the same Ayumu Fujimori I know and love.”
Those words made Ayumu immediately blush.
“Ah- thanks, Y/N. I’m sorry for thinking that you wouldn’t love me. I guess I felt that my Unluckiness would make you leave-”
You quickly shut the boy up with a kiss.
“I love you, never forget that, alright? I love you so much, Ayumu. You’re still just as cute as you were when I thought you were a girl.”
He blushed even more. At this point, it was very visible.
“T-Thank you! And I love you too, Y/N. I’m so happy you’re still with me after that.”
