Valley Valentines! ♡ Prompt 1

In the case of making Valentines cards, neither Ainsley or Aether are very good at it, but they do put plenty of work into them! They all vary, but overall they look about the same.

For Ainsley, he includes a simple necklace with a small prismatic shard charm and a small, very soft feather from his beloved chicken, Delilah. Don’t worry, she just sheds a bit sometimes! The writing varies depending on who the card is directed towards, but it’s overall very heartfelt and specific to the recipient. Basically, he just spills his heart out onto the page without thinking. Whatever he writes is pretty endearing and sweet. It can be messy and a little hard to read, but not completely impossible to understand. Alas, also, lots of glitter on and in the card. He loves it so much, even if glitter is the devil incarnate.

In Aether’s case, they found a bunch of space-related postcards, cut around the edges with rounded pattern scissors (they made sure not to snip any of their fingers), and stuck a bunch of heart stickers onto the area where writing usually would go. Since they’re still trying to learn how to write in English or simply just. Write at all. They figured they could still get the message across with the stickers! The stars on the postcards are also holographic, same with some of the heart stickers they put on the cards. Aether loves shiny stuff, but not glitter. They kind of gave Ainsley The Look™ when he put glitter on his own cards.

Overall, the card making process for both of them was rather exciting! There was a point where Ainsley was ready to help Aether by writing down what they wanted to, but they decided against it since it wasn’t truly from them, in a way. During writing his cards, though, Ainsley did get nervous about writing a few of them. Especially ones directed towards people he does have… feelings for. It felt good for him to get it all out on the card, though!

Bea, always trying to find ways to show her artistic talents (!) did some crafting with Jas in Year 2 - Jas had no words for what Bea ended up finishing. Bea took this as a good sign.
