Visiting the house of a previous teacher who passed away. It was huge, like an old mansion filled with light and shadows. I was visiting with old friends, one of whom was his daughter, who was telling about how he was at the end, with his mind failing, but in a loving way.
They’d sort of been filming some things there, the house, and were even making a film with actors and sets and the like.
They showed me a few old photos or something, some old things to do with the house, and there was a recurring theme of the shadow of a figure of a wolf. Then they showed me a film they recently took and the same shadow of the wolf could be clearly seen moving through a room. They paused the video where its outline was the most vivid.
The dream went on and I found myself sitting at a table with two hooded figures who were questioning me about an ancient artifact they had. It was a bit of a doll, mostly a head with a mouth that opened and closed. They were asking me questions about its purpose and what was inside. I told them that if they were curious they might open it up and there they might find a hint as to its purpose. They kept pressing me so finally I asked them what they were looking for inside the doll. An ancient treasure? A spirit? “A God!” one of them replied with vehemence.
Then I remembered we were in the set of a movie, and the thing was supposed to come alive like the Hand and eat us or something. I tossed it back on the table towards them and started heading to the door of the old mansion with my friends. We mostly ran out into the sunshine where I watched one of my friends act out the next scene which was also being filmed as a documentary about film making and it showed her acting out the entire scene, which they would then edit and piece back together to create the film, the high point of which she screamed, and very well too!
