"Prankster, huh? Somehow that doesn't surprise me. Seems to run in the family." He'd certainly been getting himself into trouble when they first met (not that she could throw stones in that department either), and while he'd mellowed out considerably by the time they had Sabine and Ezra, the two seemed more than up to the task of taking on that mischievous legacy. And of course, now there was Jacen. Prankster didn't begin to cover it.
"He was a bit of a wild card when I knew him, too." Hera fidgeted absently with the plain ring hidden underneath her glove as she spoke, the way she often did when talking about Kanan. "But, there was a kindness under it. He tried to mask it sometimes, but he had a good heart. Even back when he was in hiding, he still helped people when he could. That was what I liked the most about him." Her smile was soft, almost wistful, remembering those earlier, simpler times.
