The imagery? Think elegance with edge. Afrocentric, divine feminine, radiant. Each one is a vibe...and a reading all by itself.

The Last Unicorn Deck

I absolutely cannot wait to do a reading with these!

This was and is one of my favorite movies. If I am extremely sick, I put this on because it just brings me back to a time in my life when things were just, fun, no stress, and I didn't have a care in the world other than being a kid....

I grabbed them from Etsy and they even gave me cute unicorn stickers as a little side gift.

The Frustration That Sparked a Fire

Why I said: Enough. I'm making my own deck.

Ever look at a deck and think:

"This is beautiful, but what does this card mean and...where am I in this?"

Yeah. That moment led me to create LuDiva.

When I started reading cards, over time I felt more boxed in than empowered. I wanted bold cards. Cards with flavor. Cards that talk back. Cards I could understand...

I'm talking straight, divine truth, support AND love. Existing decks didn't show my world, my voice, my spirit.

So I made LuDiva.

She's not demure. She's not cryptic.

She shows up like your favorite auntie with incense, wine, and wisdom. 💅🏾

LuDiva didn't come from a business plan. She came from frustration, imagination, and a lot of "Why not me?" If you've ever felt unseen in divination, you're exactly who I made her for.

When We Choose "Yes"...

The Unfinished card is a card that relates to plans you may have or goals you are trying to accomplish. It can feel frustrating when you want to move forward or you want to get to the end and have a positive result...and it just seems like you can't get through it through. There something that you're not seeing or there's something that is holding you back. The Unfinished is that frustrating feeling of not succeeding.

The Mother is looking at your choices:

The Mother is a choice of yes.

The Mother is choosing yourself.

The Mother is choosing to continue.

The Mother is the energy of life and perseverance.

She basically says that choosing that positive road, even in the face of feeling as though you aren't accomplishing tasks, will help you to succeed.

Now The Swamp Queen is all about your inner self...how you feel about yourself. As you can see it, the card reads "weakness, stagnation, darkness" those are the feelings that we have when we aren't able to complete the tasks that we set out to complete. Those are the feelings that we have when we are setting our sights on a goal and we just can't figure out how to get there.

How does this all tie in? Although you may feel as though you are not completing those goals you are setting out to complete, choosing yourself, choosing to be positive, choosing to see the light even in the dark will keep you from sinking in to that darkness. It will keep you from becoming still and wallowing in those feelings.

Does this mean that all of your problems will be solved, not necessarily. But keeping a positive "Yes" mindset will help you see the solutions when they are presented. If you are stuck in the swamp like our Swamp Queen, how can you see when the road opens?
