UPDATES: FIC NOT DEAD

Hey everyone! I just want to assure everyone that Lightbound is not being abandoned. Due to some job-related issues, I had to move back to my hometown, so that's been taking a lot of my time lately. I still have a lot of unpacking to do and I'm also in the process of looking for a new job.

Chapter 24 is underway, but it's turning out much longer than some of the previous chapters, and I will need to make some extensive edits and see if I can get my friends who sometimes proofread for me to take a good look at it. With such a gap between chapters, I need consistency edits, and also to make sure the climax and build up to that point flow in the way I want them to.

As soon as all of this is taken care of, I'll have it posted. Thanks a lot for understanding. I truly appreciate every one of you!

Summary: The strain of trauma permeates one's entire life if one allows it to. That was something he'd found out the hard way. He wasn't sure if the drinking or the divorce came first. Then there was the cleanup act. Then, finally, something worth doing with his life. Eleven years after his attack, Harvey Harvington finds himself using that experience to aid in severe trauma cases. When a particular call comes in, he quickly finds himself in the middle of something much larger than he could have anticipated. The question is if he can keep a tight enough hold on the safety net he's made himself, and will he have the strength left to haul someone else into it with him.

I dont even know how to start this but holy holy SHIT do I HATEEEE cotton. Like from all fiction ever hes one of the only fictional characters I actually genuinly feel absolute hate towards. And this suprises me, because I personally usually like these typa characters, but theres just. Theres just SOMETHING about him that makes me absolutely SEETHE and I wanna gongratulate the author for that cause seriously good job for actually managing to make a character I actually feel nothing but hate towards <3 but yeah im actually his #1 hater and i have commented about it before but yknow I just had to get this one out as i havent caught up on the most recent chapters (i am rn though)
