Hello all, this is ostensibly my writing blog, though most of what youâll find is things Iâve reblogged to use as references for writing or interesting ideas or pictures that I liked the vibes of. Things I post (both random thoughts as well as random snippets) will be tagged with âwords from the nerdâ, and posts regarding my various fics will be tagged with both the fic title and its abbreviation if it has one.
Feel free to ask me questions about my stories, but be polite.

Shrinking Violets â MHA, Shinzawa-centric, omegaverse, underage arranged marriage (but nothing happens between them for a while) - feel free to ask me worldbuilding questions about this for my worldbuilding doc :3
Venus Conjunct Pluto in Scorpio â Hannibal/MHA fusion; ShinzawaMic with Hizashi as Hannibal, Shouta as Will, and Hitoshi as Abigail for a lovely little Murder Family <3 Very slow burn and does not stick to Hannibal canon except for some spots where it does. Can be read with little to no knowledge of Hannibal as a whole.
Color Seeping Through My Cracks â MHA, Yakuza soulmate AU, ShinzawaMic. Yakuza duo ShinMic find their soulmate in barista/waiter Aizawa and take in him and his totally legally adopted daughter.
Turning Tables â MHA, Shinzawa, Dead Dove: Do Not Eat. Seriously. Read the tags. Teen serial killer Shinsou gets kidnapped by more experienced (in every way) Aizawa.
In the drafting stage:
Parallelism â OC-centric, my Stargate OCs from SG-13 (Muki, Tyler, and Kira) get reincarnated in MHA and make friends. Worldbuilding abounds.

Schismatic â DCMK, originally KaiShin, now (maybe Kai)ShinHei. Set after Movie 13, my first attempt at writing dark!fic. A member of the Black Org finds out Conan is Shinichi and tries to protect him in dubious ways. Gotta figure out where I was going with the end of the plot (bc I have the middle plotted out) and write that.
Shadow Bride â RotG, BlackIce with genderbent Jack. AU where she and Pitch meet a couple hundred years ago and become friends, then eventually a couple. Finishing up the last few chapters.
A Wonderful World (of Magic) â Hetalia/HP, England becomes the History of Magic teacher during Harryâs sixth year, not HBP compliant. No longer write for either of these fandoms, but I have a rough outline of plot points and how it was going to end so Iâm going to flesh that out for basically a summary draft of how the story ends.
SG-13 proper â Stargate SG-1/Atlantis, my OC team and their hijinks, mostly set during/on Atlantis. Might possibly rewrite it as a whole, might just write the parts that are vaguely referenced in Parallelism bc itâs changed plots so many times over the years with so many fandom crossovers and now Iâve swung back around to it being fully Stargate focused and all three of my characters have gone through a lot of development and I want to share that with everyone <3
On the counter, off to the side (who knows when this will happen):
The Universe of the Four Tanteis â DCMK/Fushigi Yuugi, members of the Fushigi Yuugi cast get reincarnated as DCMK characters. Gotta slap together a rough outline of where I remember the story going so I can post that and be done lol
In the Arms of Death â DCMK, veeery vaguely remember the plot I was going for with this one, I want to slap together an outline for readers and in case anyone wants to adopt it bc I think itâs a cool concept.
Hopeâs Child â RotG/HP crossover, Bunnymund adopts Harry, JackBunny. I donât write HP anymore but I have a sort of vague idea where everything was going for this fic so I might put together an outline for readers or just put it up for adoption ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
Houseguest â RotG, pre-movie Tooth finds an injured Jack and takes him in. Apparently I started drafting a second chapter for this? Might finish it.
Stop Poking Logic-Shaped Holes in my School! â DCMK/HP, was pending a rewrite but since I no longer write HP Iâm waffling on what to do with this. Pending decision.
A Beautiful Relationship â DCMK, KaiShin and HakuHei, a continuation years later from my oneshot A Beautiful Friendship. Might continue this, might post an outline; havenât decided.
Love in G Major â Hetalia, USUK, PruCan, Giripan and a host of other ships, Nyotalia human high school AU. Had a vague idea of some plot points so might post that in case someone wants to adopt it.
Cardgate â YGO/Stargate crossover, I know I have like half a chapter in a notebook somewhere that I never posted, so I think Iâll finish that chapter and then post an outline lol
Relics of the Tauâri â Hetalia/Stargate crossover, might post an outline of where the story was headed.
Magical Cicadas â Higurashi/HP crossover, Higurashi characters get reborn as HP characters. I have a chapter or two of this in a notebook somewhere that Iâll post once I find it.
in 2026, remember how GOOD writing feels. remember how satsfying it is to get your characters to the point you have been dying to get to, where they will experience the love, fear, relief or whatever the feeling you want to bring to life may be. let this year be the year of writing, prgress and of satisfactory endings.
you have permission to pick that 2 year old "abandoned" project back up. it's not mad at you for setting it aside. and maybe time and distance have helped ease or erase the things that made you put it down in the first place.

okay but have you considered city boy shinsou and farmer aizawaâ shinsou going to the countryside for a vacation or something and seeing this sweaty, giant man working the fields: immediately wet.
bringing him lemonade when it's hot out and wiping his sweat with a towel, shinsou's soft hands "accidentally" brushing against aizawa and, "what's a pretty thing like him doing around here?" shiiiit.

City boy Shinsou escaping to the countryside and has no idea how to do anything and has killed every plant he's ever owned besides the succulents because they aren't offended if he forgets to water them for a week or two, but by god he can't handle living like sardines in the city with all the people and noise; and he needs more than a box he can barely move around in to live in, even if the electricity is only hooked up to the kitchen and there's no hot water in the teetering-on-the-edge-of-condemned piece of shit house he bought for literal pennies.
Then one morning, he's on his balcony being happy and unemployed and sees this giant sweaty man in the field down the hill from him. Immediately decides "that's gonna be my husbandđââïž" and takes all of his unemployed energy to initiate Plan Farmer's Wife.
Shouta will be baffled by all this attention by the new pretty thing up on the hill. Maybe city people are friendlier than he'd been led to believe? Shinsou and his delicate officeboy hands sure are touchy. Maybe it's just a weird city thing. Can't lie and say having someone dote on him and bring him food and drink isn't nice, so he definitely can't tell Shinsou to go away, no way.
!!! And then Shinsou desperate for more attention asks to help around the farm-*squeeing*
Shouta behind him, all big and hot, helping him hold the hoe correctly to till the ground-- helping the hoe with the hoe, one might say--
Office worker Shinsou who just wants to be a trophy wife jut actually will also settle for taking care of his sexy barely-not-caveman husband who mostly grunts at him as communication đ„čđ„čđ„č
Every single fic update there is an author trying frantically to find the right balance between a nonchalant aside of "leave a comment if you enjoyed =)" and clinging desperately to the coat tails of a random stranger, dragging along behind them on the street wailing "Please, please! I have to know what you thought! I'm desperate to talk to people about this! Ask me about the alliterative repetition! Ask me about the symbolism!"
The writer pipeline is: (1) i have an idea (2) i am the only person who has ever had this idea (3) i google the idea (4) seventeen people have already written this idea (5) mine is different though (6) is mine different though (7) mine is different because of the FEELING (8) i cannot explain the feeling (9) i write it anyway (10) it comes out completely different from the idea (11) the new thing is better (12) i have a new idea. we begin again. this is the whole job.
Really hate that most people donât understand the difference between âself-expressionâ and âartistic-expression.â
I say this as someone who sells pottery, and many people who see my art assume I am using art as an outlet to âexpress myself.â
I am not.
I use art to challenge myself. A lot of what I do is the equivalent of doing a hard sudoko or a half marathon, answering the question of âcan I do this?â
I use art to question things and explore ideas. Finding physical synthesis between concepts and working out a design to its end state.
I use art to make money. I make some things just because I suspect theyâll sell well, and I keep making them when they do.
This idea that an artist is âputting themselves out thereâ every time they create is not only stupid, but harmful, and it kills critique and analysis.
Yes every creative work is influenced by its creator, but the most preliminary step of analysis is to define the purpose of a work of art (functional, narrative, entertainment, persuasive, decorative, ceremonial, etc.) and a vanishingly small percentage of that is self-expression. Even then, itâs generally tied to the selfâs relationship with something elseâperception, society, etc.
Itâs very tiresome to have people assume they know you because they like (or dislike) your art, to make assumptions about who you are and how you approach the world. Itâs nothing newâ people called the Impressionists insane and the Fauvists degenerate. And now people are expected to hand out their identities and traumas to prove they have the right to explore certain subjects.
But to actually understand art, you have to contextualize it beyond assuming itâs just what the artist felt like making at the moment and itâs somehow coming from their deepest soul, or youâll badly misinterpret most art you come across.
I want to add that I have read some fic that I felt were bad but they had something about them - story, theme, a specific moment, etc. - that was so interesting or chewy that I think about it to this day, even years later.
So what if you're not someone's next great author? You could also haunt their dreams and nightmares simultaneously, and be the ghost in their daydreams. Don't ever give them peace.
