Took 5 tabs of acid (first time doing it ever) and my friend gave me a bunch of acrylic paint. Painted it with my fingers tripping out of my mind. Also I’m colorblind, and don’t work with abstract work at all (I only have ever done drawing). Thought this was pretty  wacky.

Award-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead Sunday afternoon in his New York City apartment, a law-enforcement official said.

The New York Police Department is investigating, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine exact cause of death. The official said Mr. Hoffman, 46 years old, was found dead at his apartment at 35 Bethune St. in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan.

Mr. Hoffman won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the 2005 film, “Capote.” (WSJ)

I've been speechless since I've learned of Philip Seymour Hoffman's untimely passing. He was truly one of the greatest actors of our generation, and the characters he portrayed will continue to serve as reminders as to why film is so important to me. I'm saddened to have to say goodbye to someone I've looked up to for a while. Especially under the circumstances in which he left the world. RIP.
