Idea: michael has been out of the cage w/ Adam for years, they’re recovering & playing dead (Ish?? Playing insane, in Michael’s case, whateves.)

Adam is taking online courses, Michael is adjusting to human life. They’re one of those “he’s not just my boyfriend my lover, they’re my best friend” type of couples everyone is annoyed out by. If you listen in on their conversations, it’s all sass and sarcastic comments back and forth.
