Hey there, Tumblr fam! I thought it's time to properly introduce myself. My name is Jan. I am a transmasc 🏳️‍⚧️🎨 artist and immigrant, now based in Belgium.

What I Do: I'm a self-taught artist specializing in MLM (Achillean) book cover art and illustrations. I use both digital tools like Clip Studio Paint, Rebelle 6 and Procreate, as well as traditional mediums like watercolour and ink. What I'm Passionate About: My heart beats for MLM romance! I love bringing stories of male/male (MLM) Achielan romance and eroticism to life through my art. It's a genre that truly resonates with me, and I pour all my passion into capturing the essence and emotions of these stories on canvas.

I had this artwork idea in my WIPs for about 2.5 years, but I was scared to approach it. Too many details. Too complex the lighting scenario. But finally, I did it. I took this out of my system. I have my own version of them. Lots of headcanons and a rather OOC Kaveh. I just had to do this for myself. Fun fact is that I promised myself that I won't draw anything too complex while I'm on my vacation from work art. But here I am I know I'm VERY late to the party with this ship. But I don't care. I'm happy this artwork exists.

Do I think the lack of kiss was the reason the finale sucked? No.

But do I think it represents a huge part of why the finale sucked? Yes, yes I do.

Because what was also missing from the finale was a full, proper, ARTICULATED declaration of love. We get hints and lines and 'affectionate gestures' which we are supposed to interpret as showing Aziraphale and Crowley love each other. But we do not get anything close to the final fifteen of season two, and even in Crowley's confession then, he failed to utter the words, I love you.

We get 'why would you give me crowley who completes me and then take him away'. Take him away WHEN? When he Fell? So Aziraphale thinks Crowley completed him as an angel, and not as a demon!??? That utterly fails to address the conflict of the Final Fifteen.

And we get a finger pressed to lips. that's an affectionate gesture, sure. But is it an unequivocal declaration of love? No, I'm sorry, it is not.

If they'd given me 'I love you's, if they'd given me proper resolution of the multiple conflicts of the Final Fifteen, perhaps I could have lived without a kiss. But they didn't. They gave me nothing overt, in a world that we all know likes to hide queer stories, that sees a queer kiss as inherently sexual when it would not see a het kiss the same way. A world that likes to tidy us away, pay lip service (ha) to inclusion whilst failing to show things like onscreen kisses.

They didn't even give me I love you.

And for that I will never forgive them.

It also suckeed for many more reasons. Also, like making the whole message more cruel and actually more radical than most radical Calvinist stuff you can find. No free will. Only the endless and so immensely tired glorification of the "sacred sacrifice for the greater good" and infantilization of humankind. And what baffles me is people who say, "if you didn't like the finale, you didn't understand the concept of Ultimate Sacrifice". I did. I did understand it. And I hate it. I'm sick and tired of this narrative. ESPECIALLY applied to queers.

I'm in awe with "But Crowley had a choice!" argument. Choosing between one horrible thing over another horrible thing IS NOT A CHOICE. It's a fucking ULTIMATUM. That literally erases all the emotional and phylosophical tone of the original story that denied the "heroism of a sacred sacrifical lamb" religious dogma. Oh, I'm so furious.
