Tony was really beginning to doubt himself, his life and all the choices he had made to be in this situation right now, as he sat at the table, preparing to eat breakfast with Steve and James. Who were his roommates. Who he met less than 24 hours ago. Jan was never gonna let this story go.
âHow do you like your pancakes?â Steve asked, âchocolate chips, peanut butter or strawberry?â Looking at Steve standing in front of the stove with a hot pink apron that said âkiss the cookâ was a surreal experience. Tony was planning on just quietly slipping away in the morning, as to avoid his new roommates; he woke up the earliest that he was physically capable of, planning to make coffee to get his brain working and then bolt, but Steve was already up, looking like he just came from a run, all sweaty and gross⌠and really hot. When he saw Tony he smiled, all teeth and gum, and exclaimed, âanother morning person like me! Amazing. Bucky is absolutely the worst before 12 oâclock, canât get him to do anything. I like being up early though, go running, hear the birds chirp and then a healthy breakfast before starting the day. Maybe together we can tug Bucky with us.â Tony, standing by the coffee machine, blearily glared up to Steve, and snarled. Steve looked taken aback for a second, before he chuckled.
âOkay, so more a Bucky-person then, I got it. Why are you up so early then?â Tony needed to use all his genius IQ to mutter, âCoffee. Out. Food.â Steve smiled again, he really did that too often for it being ass oâclock, in Tony humble opinion and said, âno need to waste money on getting some expensive breakfast somewhere. You can eat with us! I was just planning on getting started and then waking Bucky up and eating together. You can join us.â Tony was wracking his brain as to a good excuse why he should not do that, when Steve continued: âI was planning on making pancakes. Bucky loves those so it would be a good way to start his morning in our new house.â And honestly, Tony could never say no to pancakes. So here he was, sitting next to Bucky, and looking on as Steve expertly threw some batter into the pan.
âIf you say peanut butter, I am very sorry, but I will convince Phil te evict you,â Â Bucky said, with a serious look on his face.
âWhatâs wrong with peanut butter? Itâs kinda healthy, and tastes good.â
âNobody wants something healthy on their pancakes, Steve!â Bucky huffed. âWhy would you eat pancakes if you want to be healthy. It makes no sense.â
âPancakes can be pretty healthy, Buck. Especially if you put healthy food on them. But you wouldn't know that mister-2 ounces of syrup and chocolate paste.â
âI only put syrup on them, because that's just the way you eat pancakes, Steve. It's not my fault that you are a heathen who doesn't know how to eat pancakes the right way,â Bucky huffed. âThere is definitely no right way to eat pancakes,â Steve said. âThere totally is,â Bucky exclaimed, exasperated, as if they had this discussion a thousand times before. âThere is a right and a wrong way to eat everything, and the wrong way to eat pancakes is healthily.â
âBucky, youâre insufferable, let people enjoy things.â
âI will if they learn to enjoy things the right way.â After a while Tony just tuned them out, he had been friends long enough with Rhodey and Jan to know that these kinda discussions could take hours. And now he didnât even have Pepper to roll eyes with. God, these two reminded him so much of Pepper, Jan and Rhodey. It was so evident they were so happy and comfortable in their relationship. And here Tony was; ruining their happy time, like he ruined everything. Of course it didnât seem like they minded, they were acting, far too nice to let him now he is intruding. Which made it all the more awful that he was intruding. He needed to get out of this house.
âAnd Steve is so perky in the morning! And they are both unfairly hot. They are making me self conscious! Me! Itâs ridiculous, Pep. I donât even know how this SNAFU happened.â Tony ranted as Pepper sat on the other side of the table in a new artisan hipster-y coffee place that Pepper wanted to try out. Tony wasnât overjoyed about it, but every coffee place had black coffee so he could roll with it.
âYou could move in with us until itâs fixed, Tony. We really donât mind.â And ofcourse Pepper, sweet, lovely Pepper would offer that. But he relied on them all through high school and MIT and this was the first time he was finally standing on his own two legs. They deserved the down time. They did not deserve to be bothered by him again, now that they were finally able to enjoy their freedom.
âNah, Pep, itâs okay. Jan, Rhodes and you are still in the honeymoon phase. And I do not need to see Rhodeyâs ass again, no thank you, I have seen enough of that to last me a lifetime. Besides, youâre the one that says I need to learn to share more. This is a perfect opportunity for me to do so, right? Iâll survive.â He hoped.
Imagine Steve and Bucky rent an apartment and on the day they move in Tony's also moving in and it turns out their landlord accidentally sold them the same apartment. They decide to all share the apartment, it only takes them 3 months for them to start having sex and get complaints from fellow neighbors
Okay so this is gonna become a series bc I have too much good ideas for these 3 dumbasses. So this is part 1 and I am pretty sure there are gonna be 3 or 4 parts. So I hope you enjoy this! (I am also thinking about also posting this one on ao3 under my own account. What do you guys think?)
ââŚI am going to assume you are not some strippers that Jan has hired to celebrate my first day of living alone?â Tony said, as he looked at the two men standing in his apartment. The slightly shorter, scruffier one, that kinda looked like his first boyfriend in college, chuckled softly.
âWhat gave it away? All the boxes around us or the fact that we are currently in sweatpants?â
âUh⌠the fact that Janet would most definitely hire female strippers, because she lives to make my life as awkward and hard as possible.â Tony stepped out of the way as more of his hired movers came through the door to bring his belongings into his new house. At least, he thought it was his new house. He leaned backwards to take a quick peek at the numbers next to the front door. Fifty-two. Yes, that was his. Which did nothing to explain the two -unbelievable hot, his mind provided- lumberjack-looking man in his living room. The guys chuckled at his remark, but stayed silent. After a few seconds of awkward silence Tony cleared his throat.
âSo⌠why are you in my apartment?â
âI was just about to ask you the same thing, sweet thing.â The freakily-looking-like-his-first-boyfriend man said, with a cheeky smile. âI mean I would definitely not mind you being a stripper. Though we do not have friends rich enough to hire a pretty thing like you.â
âOkay, first of all that was the most awful string of sentences I have ever heard in my life. Please stop talking. Let the blonde one do the talking. Please. And secondly, I am pretty sure this is my apartment. I even checked.â The blonde one gaped at him, a sheepish smile on his face.
âWell sorry, sir, but we are pretty sure this is our apartment too. It is a probably just a wonky mishap. Should be easy to fix.â
Turned out, it was not easy to fix, Tony thought wryly. It did seem to be just a âwonky mishapâ as Steve -learning each otherâs name was, like the third thing they did when they found out they had to share an apartment or move out - had said. The two things  before that had involved a lot of screaming The landlord, Phil, was usually very meticulous in keeping everything in order. But seeing as he was on a special top-secret weekend away, his boyfriend had taken over. Clint was not so meticulous. He thought that Tony would be moving in in three months, and so he would get apartment twenty-five. Which would be available for him. In three months. Which meant that Tony was now technically, homeless. Or the Brooklyn twins were technically homeless. One of  them was gonna lose their homes, was what Tony was getting at. He found out a lot of information about the two men in the meeting with Phil he was currently in. This was their first house together; they were both from Brooklyn; Steve was an art teacher and Bucky ran a gym; and they were both veterans. Which means that Tony could not in good conscience rob them of their house, knowing what happened to most veterans after they had fought in the war. He also, however, could not in good conscience return to his home. Howard and Maria would no doubt welcome him back, but he had just escaped the clutches of his parents and did not want to go back to that hell, no thank you. Which meant that for once in his life, Tony had no idea what to do.
âSo⌠there is nothing you can do for us, Phil,â  Tony asked, desperation slightly showing in his voice.
âI am sorry, Mr. Stark. Unless I kick on of my tenants out I will not have another vacancy for three months.â
âYeah, that is what I was afraid of hearing.â
âHowever, there is one temporary way to fix this. The apartment we are renting is big enough for three people. It would be possible for all three of you to sleep there, until there is another vacancy. Of course you will receive a discount on the apartment for as long as the situation goes on for.
âI mean,â Steve had said, âwe could⌠share? This is not really anyoneâs fault and I would hate you not having anywhere to stay for the next three months.â Tony had found out real quick that Steve was a proper gentleman; willing to do anything to make someone elseâs life better.
âNo, that is totally not necessary! I would not want to put a bumper on you guysâ first house together. It is totally fine! Iâll find some way to fix this. Not a biggie.â Bucky, who had not said much the entire time, when they learned of the situation, gotten the available options and had discussed what they wanted to do, balked.
âSweetheart, I donât think there are any options. Â Unless you can go back to your parents or have any friends in the area, Lord knows we donât. Just see it as an extended sleepover with people you have never met. You can even braid my hair.â That made Tony smile. And honestly, these guys had been nothing but sweet and gentleman-ly to him. And Natasha and Jan had said that he needed to make more friends. This was probably not exactly what they had meant, but when had Tony Stark ever done anything the supposed way? Never, that was when.
âI mean, if you guys really donât mind?â
âWe really donât,â Steve said with a soft smile.
âOkay,â Tony nodded. âThanks,â he said softly. âI do insist you guys take the master bedroom, though. Youâre with more, and it would make no sense to have to move bedrooms in three months.â
âYeah, youâre right. Itâs been a long day. Letâs go to bed and weâll see you tomorrow, okay Tony?â
âYeah, goodnight.â
âGoodnight, sweet cheeks,â Bucky winked. Tony wondered if this was really the best idea.
*Shows up 3 weeks late with coffee*Â âsup. Honestly I am doing telling why Iâm late and barely write. I am just a horrible human being okay? But honestly seeing you guys reblogging and liking stuff and following this trainwreck of a blog makes me smile every time. So bless you guys. This is not a prompt-filling. Just a little something I wrote when I thought about it. Lifehack: if I donât say when I am gonna upload again, I canât be late.
When not defending New York and the world against aliens or octopuses with a weird pain kink, the Avenger are pretty normal people. They play board games- but avoid playing Ludo, because the hulk gets very agitated, or Monopoly, because Tony always wins, or card games, because Clint, Tony and, surprisingly, Steve count cards. They have movie night, pranks wars -which are dangerous when involving super soldiers, superspies, supergeniusses and all-round little shits. They spar together, cook together and eat together.
And when the weather is close to 35 degrees in the shade they also have pool- and barbeque parties. Rhodey and Clint were manning the grill, while Tony and Natasha wre sitting in two sun chairs, sipping mimosas and gossiping, like they are prone to do. Sam, Bucky and Steve goofed around in the pool; pulling each other underwater and splashing their crushes on the dry land, trying to get their attention. At least they were, until three knives flew right past their heads and into the water.
âWhere did you even get those knives,â Steve flailed, as he narrowly dodged one of the knives, âyou're wearing a bikini.â
Tony smirked and Natasha shrugged, âthey were small knives.â After a last warning glance at the three men she and Tony put their heads back together and continued talking. Sam did not stop staring. He only looked away when Bucky poked him between the ribs. âYou're drooling.â
Sam rubbed the sore spot, while glaring at Bucky, before turning back to Natasha.
âIs it normal to be turned on and scared for my life at the same time?â
âOh yeah,â Steve grinned as he climbed out of the pool as a reaction to Clintâs call of âthe hamburgers are ready, bitchesâ.
âWe feel the same way with Tony all the time.â
When Tony first came into the rooftop with the tiny red-white-and-blue thing on, Bucky had almost choked. He was of the firm belief that Tony in a speedo should be illegal. It was almost obscene. Tony had answered yo Clintâs tortured âwhy?!â with a âbecause tan lines, Legolas. And,â He had added with a smirk, âI am obviously a patriot.â The exasperated groaning of various team members, with exception of Steve and Natasha, only seemed to make Tony smile wider.
âWell,â Bucky couldn't help but drawl, with an appreciative glance to all of Tonyâs skin to the disposal of his eyes, âGod bless America.â Tony's blush was totally worth getting pushed into the water by Clint and Sam.
Now though, they were sitting and eating burgers and hotdogs. And Tony was opposite of him, joking around with Natasha, and pseudo-seductively sucking on a sausage. Which would be bearable, even funny, if not for three things fucking with Buckyâs mind. One, Bucky could still vividly envision Tonyâs ass in the speedo, even if it was hidden away from sight now. Two, even if he was joking, Tonyâs mouth around any sort of phallic object was enough to get Buckyâs mind racing. And most importantly, Steve the utter shit that he was, could exactly sense Buckyâs discomfort and was not only throwing fuel on the fire, but simply dousing Bucky in gasoline and lighting a match.
âIf heâs only half-assing it know,â Steve drawled, with an easy-going grin, hand straying dangerously close to Buckyâs groin, âjust imagine how it would be if he was really trying. Could you imagine. Him on his knees, you on the bed, your cock down his throat, while I open him up. Can you imagine the sounds?â Bucky gulped as just at that moment Tony stuck the sausage just a little bit too far and gagged.
âOops,â he giggled. âGuess I am not as good as I was back in the day. Should practice more, right Buckster?â And Tony blinked up at him with those big, brown eyes, mirth sparkling in them. And Bucky snapped.
âOkay Steve, Tony weâre done eating. Letâs go.â
âBut,â Tony whined, âIâm still hungry.â The pout only made Bucky want to reach across the table and pull Tony into him. Which he didnât. Because he was a civilised being. Mostly.
âTony. Now.â Bucky -most certainly not- growled. Steve stood and put his hand on Buckyâs shoulder.
âShellhead, I think that is enough. And anyways,â he finished,â you totally won now.â
Tony preened and jumped up. âYes! Pay up, scary spider-lady. The leader said I won.â
Natasha grumbled and reached, somewhere, Bucky was not entirely sure where, and pulled out a crisp twenty dollar bill. âFor the record, I object. You totally used Steveâs help.â
âNever said in the rules I couldnât.â
âNever said in the rules you could.â Bucky could see an argument coming up. So he did what he did best.
âHonestly, I donât know whatâs going on here. And I do not want to now whatâs going on here, either. But Steve. Tony. The first one in the bedroom and undressed is getting the vibrate function of the arm.â
Tony and Steve bolted, and Bucky smirked at the leftover Avengers and walked towards the bedroom too, but not before throwing over his shoulder, âand, by the way. No matter whatâs happening. I always win.â
So everything went totally wrong with this post rip. So my whole text about me keeping my promises and how I hate my life, because it is very busy is now very gone hahaha. Anyway. You still have this story a day early so all is good. Now the only thing you need to know is that I'm gonna try to write a Christmas story, but no promises. Hope you enjoy
(I'll pretty this post up once I'm not in mobile, but that's honestly just too much work right now and I don't wanna keep the anon waiting haha)

Smashing shit stuff
Prompt: Imagine Steve and Bucky seeing and helping Tony destroy walls n stuff in his work shop (like IM2) to build some super sophisticated science machine. They have no idea what it does but they're happy to apart of Tony's genius for once.
Tony Stark was a man of many talents. And because of this he was also a man of many faces. Bucky and Steve had seen most of them an adored them all; the sharp business smile right in front of a meeting with important people neither Bucky or Steve had ever heard of; the adoring look on his face when he was running around the lab in SI with the baby geniuses; his amused laugh and giggles when he was sitting with Natasha on the couch, heads bend together, either vodka or hot cocoa clutched between their hands; his ruthless face when he was staring down the villain of the week, staring into their eye and daring them to hurt anyone on his watch. However their favourite looks was when they were alone with Tony and his guards were down, like his soft sleepy face in the morning, after he had just woken up from a twelve hour nap after a inventing binge, or his pleading face when they were teasing him, driving him crazy, just wouldnât let him come, touching him everywhere except for the part where he needed their touch the most and  he was begging them to âjust, please, please, please let me come, I need  it. I need it so bad. Donât keep me waiting any longer. Fill me up. Make me yours.â So yeah, Tony was a man of many faces and many sides, but the look he was wearing right now, Bucky in particular enjoyed the most. He called it Tonyâs âmad geniusâ face. And it was particularly fun if Bucky got the chance to help him do his mad genius-ing (totally a word Steve, shut up otherwise youâre not invited for the fun âblowing shit upâ-party).
Bucky and Steve had no idea what exactly they were doing, but it involved looking at Tonyâs excited face and blowing -what seemed to them- random things up with big booms. And as soldiers, and idiots in love, this was exactly how they liked to spend their days.
âOkay guys,â Tony said, with an excited grin. âAre you ready?â Bucky and Steve beamed at him and slid their protective eyewear in place. âWe sure are!â Steve yelled, over the sound of the machine Tony was intermittently tweaking and blowing things up with.
âAlright, Captain Rogers. Will you do the honours this time?â Steve nodded and went to stand behind the machine. Looking at the big red button that Tony let either or Bucky push every time he needed to blow something up, he smiled at his boyfriend and waited for the signal. Tony gave him a thumbs up, and Steve pushed the big red button.
The vase in front of him got blown to smithereens. At least thatâs what it looked like to Steve, but after Tony turned the laptop to them and played the video of the explosion back in slow motion, he saw that before the vase fell to the ground it was sawed perfectly in eight pieces. No ragged edges, no parts that were broken off, not one little piece out of place, just perfect, straight lines.
âIâm pretty sure that should not be possible with porcelain,â Bucky said. Tonyâs grin was so wide Steve was scared that he was gonna split his face open or turn into the Joker.
âIt wasnât actually,â he said, glee barely contained. âGentlemen, you have just helped me write science history.â Steve was flabbergasted, but quickly took his boyfriend around the waist and spun him around. Tonyâs exhilarated laugh tingled in his ears. When he put him down Bucky quickly tugged him into his arms to lay a sweet kiss on his lip.
âI am so proud of you doll, but if you get a Nobel prize for this you better share,â he whispered, as he nuzzled Tonyâs neck.
Tony had many faces, but the face he made as he threw his head back and laughed was both the boysâ favourite.
Do you plan on getting someone else to help you? Another writer/artist? Or are you going to keep working alone? I love your fics btw :)
For now I am going to work alone until I have my shit together. Wouldnât want to invite someone into this shitstorm lol. But down the road I think I would like to work together with someone.
However, if you want to submit something or have me reblog your Starkbucks related art/writing/edits/etc. for bigger exposure (I can not believe how many followers this blog has omfg I love all of you <3) then by all means do. If you submit something, you will be credited of course.
Omg I've dreamed of a blog like this! Could you guys possibly do a prompt where Howard is the director of SHIELD and makes the mistake of bringing Steve and Bucky home to the mansion when they're found, only to grow mortified when he realizes that his two friends are flirting with his son? Possibly where Howard isn't an asshole to Tony either?? Thank you so much, I love your blog!
Okay so it officially eight pas six over here so itâs evening. Which means I can post this for you guys! Thereâs another prompt already written + I am halfway through another not-prompt, but starkbucks so you guys wonât have to wait too long on the next one. BTW, from now on I will tag the ânameâ of the story, it is easy to find it + any installations in the same AU. This is not edited (by someone else), so sorry for any mistakes!
Even though Howard was feared and revered inside of Shield, everyone knew that inside the house he had nothing to say. His loving wife and brilliant son overruled him in everything. It wasnât even that he had no authority in his own home; the simple fact was that Howard was a total pushover when it came to the two people he loved most in this world.
That was why, when Howard announced that the two recently de-iced super soldiers were coming to his house because his son wanted to meet them, nobody was even the slightest bit of surprised. It didnât matter that the super soldiers were technically still classified; Tony had adored them all his live, so he going to meet them. The old and loyal employees still remembered the twelve-year-old boy with big round eyes, following his dad with a Bucky-bear in one hand and a Captain America backpack around his shoulder, touching everything, talking with the scientist (and actually keeping up with them) and hugging his dadâs leg.
âI can not believe I am actually meeting them,â Tony said into the phone. Captain Rogers and Sergeant Barnes are actually gonna be in my house tonight!â Tony could barely keep still on the phone, because of the excitement. He was wiggling around as he talked to Pepper on the other side. âI am gonna be breathing the same air as the leaders of the Howling Commandos, Pep. Pep? Pep! Are you still listening?! This is the best day of my live and you are not even listening,â Tony whined into the phone, theatrically falling onto his Shield-covered bed.
âI am not listening because I am 100% sure that I should not even know that these super soldiers exist, Tony. Honestly, you better make sure that you are better at keeping secrets once we are starting our company, because if you leak or sensitive information to corporate enemies I will actually murder you.â
âBut, Pep, Pepper, spice of my life. You will know not to trust me with secrets. Thatâs why you are going to run the company and I am just going to run around and play in the R&D department. I thought this out, do not fret my dear.â
âAnthony,â Pepper sharply said, and Tony could just picture her rolling her eyes at him from the other side of the phone, âI am not running this company by myself. You will have responsibilities.â
âOkay, okay,â Tony whined. âWeâll talk about it later, for now letâs focus on the hot beefcakes that are going to sit at my table in a couple hours.â
Pepper sighed.
âCara stop fretting. You look amazing and the captain and sergeant will most definitely agree.â Tony and Maria were sitting at the table, waiting for their father and husband to come out of work, with two recently defrosted soldiers in his tow. Tony had agonized about what he would wear for two hours, before he simply gave up and called his friend Jan, who was a fashion guru and, coincidentally, always right. So now Tony was sitting at his table wearing dark jeans, a red blouse that looked delectable on him and black dress shoes -with in them soft and fuzzy socks that Tony loved to wear, but nobody but Jarivis needed to know that one tiny detail. He knew he looked great, but still he couldnât stop fuzzing with his cufflinks, his watch, his ears -with the piercings in them that he had to beg for for months-, his collar and then back to his cufflinks again. Honestly it was a miracle that his mother hadnât taped his hand to the table already. âIâm sorry, mamma.â
Finally the door opened and Tony could hear Jarvis, his father and two voices he had heard countless times on war reels conversing in the hall. Tony jittered with his legs, noticed, and forced himself to sit still. He was anxiously watching the door, preparing himself to see the two guys that had always played a role in his life. From stories about their bravery as bedtime stories to the very first wet dream, to the countless mastrubation sessions that followed. They were his heroes when he was just a little boy, his anchor when he was going through puberty, all through his rebellious phase and his idols now that he was in MIT. They were his heroes. His idols.
His idols were stupid. Like, actually too stupid to function. Steve had taken one look at Tony and promptly tripped over his feet. James had been using stupid one-liners all through dinner to catch Tonyâs attention. They were both a trainwreck and Maria was smiling indulgently, while Howard was looking murderous and amused at the same time.
âSo, we were told at the base that you were a big fan of The Howling Commandos back in the day,â Steve started as soon as he saw that Bucky opened his mouth again. Everytime Bucky said something Howard got a glint in his eyes that said he was thinking about where he stashed the shotgun. âWho was your favourite?â The added effect of making Tony blush made Steve happy that he had gone with that question. In his state right now the alternative was âSo⌠you like bread?â so he had limited options anyway. Mariaâs laugh was delicate and made Steve think of tiny bells tinkling.
âOh yeah. Tony loved The howling Commandos. He still has a Bucky Bear in his room. He actually,-â
âMom,â Tony interrupted her, his soft pink blush changing into a deep red flush sitting on his cheeks and creeping to his neck. âThey really do not want to hear about my childhood obsession.â In the background everyone could hear marry scoff. âChildhood. As if heâŚâ She was cut off by Tony again, now talking louder to drown his mother out.
âAnd besides, my favourite was always Aunt Peggy. Letâs be honest, she was the most badass of all the Commandos. Even is she wasnât technically in it. She could kick all the guys ass at the same time, probably. Probably could still. I remember a week ago when she took at this one guy in the room with a spoon. It was awesome and it looked quite painful, especially be,-â
âTony, dear, youâre rambling.â Howard said, with an amused smile.
âOh,â Tony chuckled. The table fell silent. Steve and Bucky were looking sad, offended and fond at the same time and Howard knew the smile on Mariaâs face meant trouble for him. And his sanity.
After dinner,Tony and Maria were walking in the front of the group to the pink chamber for some coffee. Howard took hold of both Bucky and Steveâs shoulder and pulled them back.
âIf you hurt one hair on my boyâs head I will rain down the wrath of the entirety of SHIELD. And all the righteous fury of Peggy.â Steve and Bucky turned white and nodded quickly. They knew for certain that once Peggy was done with them, all SHIELD had to do was find their body parts and stash them somewhere.
Hi guys! I know it has been a while since we have uploaded. But I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that there will be a new prompt uploaded this evening and another one is scheduled for over 3 days :). The bad news is that my co-author can unfortunately not help anymore. But I will try my very best to have at least one new prompt every one or two weeks! If you have questions or something else do not hesitate do reach out to me. Xx CJ
Imagine Steve is head of the Irish Mob, Bucky is head of the Russian Mob and Tony just happens to be friends with them both. Tony invites Bucky out to eat bc "you just have to meet Stevie ! You'll love him Buck." When they see each other they try to keep it civil bc Tony doesn't know they run mobs, and Tony's kidnappers didn't know he was out with said mob bosses. Turns out they made a good team.
Okay, so in my head, this is an AU were polyamory is the norm. So Tony has been dating Steve and Bucky for a while now, and he likes them both, so he wants to introduce them to each other. I have like so many fics that I want to write with this now, so thereâs a big chance thereâs gonna be a follow-up of this. Iâm also contemplating making a account/series on AO3 for this blog.
So, with six minutes left on Saturday, I present you: me, actually keeping a fucking promise I made.
Xx CJ
âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââOkay,â Tony said, slightly out of breath. âIâm pretty sure a mechanic or painter shouldnât be that good at attacking people with a fork. Like, not at all.â They were standing inside of what once was a cute picturesque little bakery. Now there were a dozen men lying around, some tables were broken, there was broken glass lying everywhere and people were cowering behind what was left of the furniture. âAnd Iâm pretty sure a middle school teacher shouldnât be able to kick like that. Damn doll, you sure are flexible,â Bucky said, a smile lingering around his lips as he looked Tony up and down. Tony huffed as he blew some strands of hair out of his face. âMy dad made me take self-defence classes since I was five. I could totally take you, hot-stuff.â âTake me or take me. Because both sound like a fun time to me,â Bucky wiggled his eyebrows, and smiled triumphantly as Tony chuckled. âGuys, though it is real fun to hear you flirt like that,â Steve drawled, his accent prominent, his sarcasm even more,â we just kinda gutted more than ten people, so maybe we should get a move on?â He nodded to the window, which was completely shattered from when Steve threw one of the men through it. In the distance you could hear the faint sound of sirens. Bucky sobered up quickly, and nodded. âYouâre right, but first,â he walked to the owner of the petite restaurant, who was cowering behind the showcase. âIâm sorry for your shop,â he said in a soft, but rushed tone. âIâll have some of my men come by to catalogue what was broken and how much money and manpower youâll need to repair it. âtil youâre shop is fixed Iâll of course pay all of your expenses.â The man smiled, obviously relieved, and kisses Buckyâs hand. âMy wife and ПОи довОŃки thank you, гОŃпОдин.â  âThere is no need to be thankful,â Bucky admonished", âthe state of your store is my doing. ĐОи иСвинониŃ. Tell Alonya I said hello, and tell her to be careful; Bruce said she needed bedrest, but I know her. You picked a headstrong wife.â The man smiled softly. âĐа, I did indeed. I wouldnât give her up for the world.â  Bucky stood op from the crouch he was in and bowed his head to the man. Then he looked at Tony and Steve took their hands and walked out of the bakery, leaving the men lying on the ground in the bakery. âť âť âť Â âSo, am I going to get answers, or are we going to pretend that was all totally normal, and not at all creepy and a little bit hot,â Tony asked, as they were strolling through the streets, all of them eating ice-cream. Steve and Bucky looked at each other, over Tonyâs head. Steve nodded, and Bucky grinned.
Royalty!AU where kings Steve and Bucky constantly talk about how the jewel of their kingdom is their consort Tony. đ (but some times that makes Tony a target :( )
Okay, so I didnât completely keep to the prompt, because Iâm awful like that. But thereâs royal consort Tony, soâŚ
Okay, from now on, Iâm gonna post an answer every Saturday, because I really write too little and seeing as I have summer vacation now, I have absolutely no excuse. So good news is yâall will get another story tomorrow, seeing as it is Saturday, and I love to keep my word I guess.
Anyways, hereâs the story.
(Warning: after the second row of stars there is (semi)-NSFW. So if youâre not comfortable with that you can just read til then, because after that the story stops)
âI am telling you for the last time, Hammer, my answer is no.â Steveâs voice was booming through the whole throne room, so different from the voice Tony was used to hearing in the bedroom. Bucky, the fellow king, was sitting a few feet to the left of them, and sitting between them was the most precious treasure of the whole kingdom. Anthony Edward Stark; genius, smart mouth, blacksmith and royal consort of the kings. And the love of their lives. âWeâve seen what youâve done to her. Sheâs staying.â Hammer was a high noble in the neighbouring kingdom. And a jackass, in Tonyâs not-so-humble, and quite vocal, opinion. âYouâve seen nothing,â Hammer sneered, âyouâre just believing the words of your royal bitch. And everyone knows heâs a liar and a fraud. A bitch that has climbed the ladder by sucking di,-â. He was suddenly cut off. One of the guards, Sam, a loyal man who loved and adored Tony since he made him a contraption with which he could fly like an falcon, had walked forward and punched Hammer with a full fist to the mouth. Hammer went down. Hard. Sam turned around and bowed to the three man on the stage. âIâm sorry my Sires, I just couldnât bear one second longer listening to his voice.â As he got up a small smile played around his mouth, and his eyes twinkled with mirth. âI will overlook it this time, knight. If you would be so kind to take out the trash, that is.â
âťâťâť âBucky! Slow down,â Sam shouted, âwe have to have a plan first. We can not just barge into the cave and hope for the best. That would only endanger Tony more.â Sam took Bucky by the arm, the flesh one, the one that was trembling and was slick with sweat. âBucky, listen to me. I know itâs hard, but we must stay calm.â  Bucky roughly shook the hands off and sneered, âno, you do not know what itâs like Sam. Youâre treasure is save at home, isnât she? You donât have to worry about her being ripped to shreds, do you? So donât tell me to stay calm. You know nothing.â He was breathing hard, shallow, his eyes seemed to have storms and lightning and rain in them. Suddenly bulky arms wrapped around Bucky from the back. âBucky,â Steve whispered. âPlease calm down. Tony needs us, but he needs us at our best. Both of us.â Bucky didnât relax exactly, his body still tight, but he leaned his head unto Steveâs shoulder. âYouâre right. Sorry. I just miss him so much, Stevie. And I worry.â âYou and me both.â Steve sighed into Buckyâs hair, nuzzling his head, and squeezing him tighter. âWeâre gonna save him though.â The night had fallen and they were forced to stop at the bottom of the mountain that the cave was located on. They were lying just behind the tree lines, the fire smouldering softly, and the only sounds in the camp were men and women sniffling, turning and coughing.  It had been hours since they laid down for the night, but many couldnât catch sleep. All were worrying for Tony, the nice, compassionate, reasonable and smart man, who was so much more than just a consort for the kings. All of them had experienced Tonyâs kind-heartedness first hand, being as they were within the closest circle of the kings. Many had seen his sharp tongue, had experienced his witty mind, and felt his soft embrace. And the thought of Tony in a cave, alone, shivering, scared, but probably not willing to admit it, broke their hearts. Suddenly there was a noise overhead, a flapping sounds that disturbed the trees and the animals that rested in them. A low noise could be heard, a noise that could only be attributed to a dragon. A big dragon. Everyone sprang up and scrambled for their weapons. They were ready just in times as a dragon, black with white and red stripes around his tail landed on the clearing just in front of were they were just laying. He was big enough that he filled the open space completely, his head just under the leaves of the trees that have stood for decennia. Everybody was ready to attack the beast, with swords, spears, a hammer, knives, arrows, and, in one special occasion, flames that came from his hands, but a voice interrupted them. âDonât you dare shoot my new friend! And that also includes you, mister âTrigger Happyâ.â Tonyâs voice boomed through the clearing, and he jumped of the dragonâs back with a finesse that would make you think he didnât once stumble over literal air. As the group saw him they all ran to him, but they were stopped by a small flame, just inches from their face. âEasy Ms. Snuggles, they are friends,â Tony soothed as the party jumped backwards. âTheyâre not gonna hurt you, I promise. Donât worry sweetheart, you are safe now.â To the astonishment of all onlookers, the dragon relaxed and softly nuzzled Tonyâs head with her own. âYeah, thatâs right, good girl.â He softly patted her head, before looking at his friends and lovers. âHey guys, sorry you had to come all the way here and look all tough to come rescue little old me. But, as you can see; not necessary. Iâm fine. But sheâs not,â he said as he waved his hands to the entirety of the dragon, âsome asshole tried to hurt her and sheâs in a lot of pain, but I canât help her, so we have to go to Bruci,-â. âTony, what the fuck,â Bucky cut him off, with his special patented Deadpan Lookâ˘. âIâll explain while we walk. Letâs go. Sheâs hurting.â And Tony began walking through the clearing, the dragon walking behind him like a puppy. The group look at each other, at Tony, at the big-ass motherfucking dragon. Then shrugged. And began walking. âWait,â Clint exclaimed, âwho exactly is Mr. 'Trigger Happyâ Tin man?â âťâťâť âCome on, Buck, stop teasing,â Tony moaned, as he fisted the manâs hair. Bucky was trailing featherlight kisses along his stomach, thighs, legs, everywhere except where Tony needed him right now. âSteve,â he whined, âmake him stop teasing me.â They had been at it for nearly an hour, Bucky and Tony on the bed, while Steve watched; he had an voyeuristic streak a mile wide. They were always  like this after a tough battle, soft and slow and teasing and so mean. They just couldnât resist showing Tony their love when they were confronted with their own mortality, the thought of losing Tony showing to be too much. âBut youâre such a nice view like this, sweetheart,â Steve whispered, as he bent over the bed to softly bite Tonyâs ear. âSo soft, and compliant, and ours. Itâs amazing how you let yourself go like this when weâre alone. When only our eyes can see your lovely body. For all the riches we have, you are the most beautiful jewel.â Tony gripped the blondeâs hair and brought him down in a crushing kiss. âYou either make him fuck me, or you need to shut your fucking mouth,â he breathed as he finally let Steve go. Steve laughed, a low chuckle that made Tonyâs toes curl. âWell you heard him Buck, Iâm not about to stop talking, so I suggest you get a move on.â âYour wish is my command, sire,â Bucky smirked.
Imagine Tony is neighbors to Steve and Bucky and Tony's cat always ends up in their apartment bc she likes to nap in their dog. Sometimes Steve and Bucky's dog sneaks into Tony's apartment bc he misses the cat and Tony's sweatshirts are so comfy
I am so so so so sorry for the long wait! School was crazy, work was crazy, family was crazy. bla bla bla bla. But now the only thing that I have to do is focus on the exams. And after that I have a summer break of nearly four months, so enough time to write, before I start university. For now, Iâam aiming to publish one story a week (I am still looking for a suitable day). Anyways. I present you fluff!
It was really too cute. Far too cute. Sensory overload. So cute it should be illegal.
âSo⌠I am most definitely not waking them up,â Steve said, while softly cooing at the two animals. Once again, Tony was in the new neighborsâ apartment looking at this little traitor of a cat, that was cuddling Steveâs and Buckyâs Labrador. The white fur of the Maine Coon could be seen only if you looked from the top of the two animals, so  engulfed was it in the dog, which had rolled itself in a ball as if to protect the cat. This was the sixteenth time  in a month and half that the cat snuck out of the apartment just to go and have alone time with the neighborsâ dog.Â
âťâťâť
The first time it happened, Tony was panicking, running around the hallways of the apartment complex, frantically calling her name, hoping that the cat hadnât snuck outside and gotten itself stuck in a tree, or even worse, ran under a car. He was close to tears when a brunette he had never seen before walked up to him.
âHi! Iâm James. Are you perhaps looking for your cat?â he said, as he extended his hand to Tony. Tony eyed the other man for a couple second, before extending his own hand to shake the strangerâs. Â âYes, I am, actually. You havenât seen her have you? Sheâs a grey-ish white, with pointy ears. Sheâs also a little shit.â
James laughed, and it was a rich, deep sound. Tony wouldâve probably appreciated it more, if he wasnât so concerned about his little baby.
âAs a matter of fact, I have. I can show you if you want. Sheâs just this way.â The stranger walked away, with the confidence of someone who knew he would be followed. So Tony did. He followed the man back to the hall where his own apartment was. But instead of stopping in front of his own door, he stopped two doors down. He searched in his pockets and after half a minute he pulled some keys out if his pockets. He opened the door and motioned to Tony to follow him, but Tony hesitated.
âI usually donât follow strange man into their apartments. Something about stranger-danger and getting killed and hacked into itty-bitty bits.â The stranger laughed again, just a little bit longer now, and Tony eyed him from out the corners of his eyes. He felt a bit like he was walking into the apartment of a serial killer. He was seriously doubting all his choices in his life that had led to the moment where he was unsuspectingly walking into the house of a potential serial killer just to find his cat.
But then the door opened, and a blonde head peeked outside. âBuck, is that you? Have you found the owner yet?â
âBuck? I thought your name was James?â Tony turned to the man, but the other stranger answered instead.
âYes it is. James Buchanan Barnes. I call him Bucky. Actually, everybody calls him Bucky. Itâs a thing. Hi! Iâm Steve.â The man stepped out of the door, and extended his hand, and, oh, this was seriously unreal. How did he not notice that he lived literally two doors from two Greek gods?
âIâm Tony.â He said after an awkward pause of about twenty second.
âWe moved here a week ago.â That explains so much, Tony thought. Pepper said he was usually not very aware of his surroundings, but this was unreal. âIs it your cat that ruined our plates and is now napping with our dog? I sure hope so, because I do not really want another pet. Hercules alone is more than enough trouble.â
And that was how a strange and forced friendship happened between Tony and the two, very hot, thank you very much, neighbours. The second and third time that he couldnât find Maria in his home, he walked around for a bit before going to Buckyâs and Steveâs home, but now he just went straight to them. At first he felt a little bit awkward, and a whole bit like a bad pet keeper, but then he found Hercules in his home, his vase on the ground in pieces, and one of his many MIT sweaters tattered on the ground. After that he felt less bad about it. And seeing Steveâs blush and hearing Buckyâs chuckle as he gifted the ruined sweater to the dog, was well worth it.
âťâťâť
âYou always say youâre not going to wake them up Steve. We get it. Theyâre too cute and deadly to be disturbed.â
âMostly deadly though,â Tony remarked as he stood up out of his crouch to give the two animals some alone-time. âAnd mostly Maria, sheâs kind of an asshole.â
âYou always say that,â Bucky said as he walked to the kitchen to make some popcorn. âBut you love her.â
âOf course I do, she reminds me of⌠well, me,â Tony was pulling Steve to the couch and settling down, before snuggling into Steveâs left side, like he had done it thousands of times before. When in reality it was only twelve times.
Bucky and Steve snorted as Bucky came back from the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn and three cups of soda. âDid you make the popcorn buttery-y? Please say you made the popcorn extra butter-y, because I love butter-y popcorn so, so much and you know it. If you made the popcorn butter-y I will love you and you will be made my favourite.â
âSay butter-y one more time Tony and Iâm going back to the kitchen and making that sweet popcorn that Steve for some reason thinks is an appropriate thing to eat.â As he approached the couch Tony made grabby hands for the popcorn, and Bucky gave it to him with an indulgent smile, before lifting Tonyâs feet up and making himself comfortable.
âYou wouldnât dare,â Tony said as he was happily munching on some popcorn and offering Steve little bites. âYou know better than that.â
âSo, what are we watching, and if you say "Pretty Womanâ one more time Tony I will scream.â
"It isnât my fault you canât appreciate golden classics Steve.â
âI can appreciate classics just fine Tony, just not ten times in a row.â
âYou suck.â Tony stuck out his tongue.
âOkay guys, weâre watching Suicide Squad,â Bucky interrupted before Steve and Tony could go into a âyou suckâ-tug of war. Which they did often.
âYeah! I love Harley Quinn,â Tony crowed.
âShe is badass,â Steve admitted. And so the movie was put on, and silence descended into the tiny living room for a couple of seconds. It wouldnât take long for any of them to start arguing, but for now it was peaceful. They were snuggled up on the couch, warm and loving, just like the cat and the dog just a couple feet to the right.
And if Tony and Maria both purred that night, well nobody had to know.
tony is a single dad, and bucky&steve are his very hot neighbours.
âEdwin!â
Tony tried not to grind his teeth as he chased his four-year-old son down the sidewalk. As always, the little voices in the back of his head told him that he was doing a terrible job. He needed to keep a closer watch on his son. The real world was dangerous! What if Edwin ran out into the street and got hit by a car? Or if someone wanted revenge on Stark Industries andâŚ
âDaddy! Look!â
Edwin finally slowed down, excitedly holding his hand out in front of him. Tony was out of breath when he finally caught up, but couldnât help but smile when he looked at Edwinâs hand and saw him holding a red butterfly on one of his fingers. His little boy looked entirely enraptured by the tiny creature. âIsnât it pretty, daddy?â Edwin asked, looking up at his dad.
âIt sure is kiddo,â Tony replied, just as the butterfly took flight again, and slowly swooped away from the two of them. âSay âbye, butterflyâ.â
âBye-bye butterfly!â Edwin echoed, waving as the butterfly flew off. He grinned back at Tony, and Tony forgave himself a little bit for not being a stellar parent. If his kid was happy enough to give him that look, he couldnât be that bad.
Tony took his sonâs hand and continued leading him down the street towards their house. Edwin continued to babble about what he had done with his tutor that day, and Tony was about to ask about what exciting things heâd found out about levers when he saw a moving truck sitting in front of the house next door to theirs.
âDaddy, who are they?â
âNot sure, kiddo,â Tony answered, looking at the two men moving in and out of the truck curiously. He hadnât even known the house was for sale, which wasnât all that surprising, considering how little attention he paid to anything that wasnât his son or his work. Still, now that he was getting closer, he wished he had.
The first guy he saw was the kind of âAll-American Boyâ you only saw in movies: Tall, blond and muscular, with a smile that could break your heart. And damn if Tony wasnât already checking him out.
A few seconds after that though, the other man stepped out of the truck. He was a little shorter than his friend, and had long brown hair. He was ruggedly handsome to the point of distraction, which might have been the point, since Tony didnât realize he was wearing a prosthetic arm until he and Edwin were twenty feet from the house.
Jeez, was this some kind of porno-worthy moving crew? No, he was fairly positive there would be more guys if they were actual movers. That meant at least one of these guys had to be his new unfairly attractive neighbor.
The blond guy slowed down when he noticed Tony and Edwin walk up to their house, and smiled and waved. âOh, hey! You must be our new neighbors.â
Oh boy. It was both of them.
âActually, I think youâre the new guys,â Tony shot back. He went ahead and tugged Edwin along with him to say hi, and kept a smile on his face. âNice to meet you, Iâm Tony.â
âSteve,â the blond answered, shaking his hand before looking at Edwin. He knelt down to the kidâs level and offered him a hand as well. âAnd what about you? Whatâs your name?â
Edwin smiled, and shook Steveâs hand with his, which Tony couldnât help but think was absolutely adorable. âIâm Edwin. I saw a butterfly today!â
In response, Steve grinned and asked, âA butterfly? Really? What color was it?â
Tony tried not to laugh as Edwin started describing the bug from earlier, and was so focused on the conversation that he didnât notice the other man walk up until he was already at Tonyâs shoulder.
âWell heâs not shy at all, is he?â
Tony almost jumped out of his skin.
âOh jesus, are you some kind of ninja?â
The other man snorted. âIf I were, youâd never know,â he teased, before nodding at where Steve had started describing some kind of fuzzy caterpillar monster, and Edwin was giggling uncontrollably. âCute kid.â
âThanks,â Tony said with a smile. âAlthough I gotta say, your boyfriend has a way with him.â
âNot surprising. Heâs an art teacher for elementary school,â the man responded, not contradicting the âboyfriendâ comment. Darn, well at least if Tony couldnât touch either of them, he could still look. âIâm Bucky. I guess Steveâs already introduced himself.â
âThat he has. Iâm Tony.â
They shook hands just as Edwin gasped. âDaddy! Daddy-they have a dog!â
âReally?â Tony asked, smiling at his kid as he bounced up and down. His eyes wandered up towards Steveâs face as Edwin blathered on about this dog he had yet to even meet. Steve was just as amused by the boyâs antics, and when Tony met his blue eyes, something stirred in his gut. He was expecting the lust, but the wave of genuine affection at how he handled Edwin was a surprise.
He didnât realize that Bucky had knelt down to Edwinâs level as well. âIf your dad says itâs okay, you can come say hi to Cap.â
âUh, Cap?â
âOur dog,â Bucky answered, filling in the blank.
Edwin looked at his dad with big, pleading eyes. âDad-Dad-Dad, can we?!â
Before Tony could answer, Steve spoke up again. âActually, we were about to break for dinner. My ma sent a big dish of shepherdâs pie and Bucky promised a surprise for dessert.â
Steve said it with a smile on his face, but the way Bucky smirked and rolled his eyes in Tonyâs direction suggested that his âsurpriseâ didnât have anything to do with the meal.
âOh, donât let us interrupt you then. Iâm sure Ed can visit Cap when you two are settled in andâŚâ He glanced at Bucky with raised eyebrows. â..finish dessert, I guess?â
The glance clued Steve in. âOh-no. I meant-I was inviting you over for dinner. I didnât meanâŚI wasnât thinking about dessert. Dessert can wait.â
âNo dessert?â Ed whined, oblivious to the adult content swirling over his head.
Bucky snickered. âNo worries little dude,â he said, rumpling the boyâs hair, and rescuing Steve. âIâve got ice cream and chocolate sauce. Dessert is safe.â
Ed cheered, and Bucky gave Steve a fond look that caused him to flush bright red. Tony couldnât help but wonder what the true intention of the chocolate sauce was: to go on ice cream, or somewhere far less appropriate.
âSo you wanna join us Tony?â Bucky asked.
Lost in his thoughts, it took a moment for Tony to realize that they were back to talking about dinner. And that he was unfortunately, not being asked to join in the chocolate sauce reverie. âAhâŚsure. Why not?â
âAwesome,â Bucky said with a grin. He looked back at Ed. âYou scared of heights?
Edwin quirked his head to the side. âNo?â
Buckyâs response was to surprise both Tony and Edwin by picking the child up and swing him onto his shoulders. Edwin squealed excitedly, which calmed Tony slightly. As did Buckyâs look to Tony for approval. When Tony nodded, Bucky smiled and winked, before saying, âNow, letâs see if we can find Cap.â
Tony and Steve hung back in the driveway while Bucky took Edwin towards the back yard looking for the dog. Tony couldnât help but smile at how excited Edwin looked, and how great his two neighbors seemed to be with his son.
Steve coughed, and brought him back to the moment. âAhâŚsorry about that. I didnât mean for it to sound likeâŚâ
âAh-say no more. Itâs cool,â Tony said, cutting him off. âI put my foot in my mouth all the time. Gotta say though, while I donât want my kid involved, Iâm a little disappointed that Iâll be missing the real dessert.â
Wait. Was that something it was appropriate to say to your new neighbor?
He looked over at Steve, about to apologize, or make excuses, but Steve was biting his lip appreciatively, and looking between Tony and Buckyâs retreating back. âYou never know. Maybe weâll invite you next time.â
He didnât elaborate, walking towards the front door, leaving Tony grinning behind him.
Tony honestly couldnât decide which part of meeting his neighbors was: getting to know two guys that were great with his son, or the promise of getting them both into bed.
a/n: hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts. I got a new job thatâs been keeping me distracted and CJâs had school. No promises, but weâll work harder to stay active.
Y'all fucking me up. Great work guys keep it up! I saw in a A/N you guys are in school idk if you still are but I hope you guys did/are doing well!
Thank you for your sweet words! I just went to my 6th and last year so for me it is going well. And seeing that school is finally letting up a bit I'm able to write again! So expect a new prompt in the next two days. And I'm really, really sorry for the long radio silence -again- but school was really draining :/Xx CJ
Civil War!AU where Bucky's been around for a bit longer & the Accords cause a schism between the team with he & Steve on one side & Tony on the other- breaking up the Triad they've been in for a while now. Fighting still goes down but Team Cap notices that Team Iron Man starts to fight extra hard to cover Tony. Turns out Tony's pregnant & though they couldn't stop him from fighting, they damn sure were gonna do their best to protect him- esp. from the fathers of his unborn child(ren). Fix it plz
I know you said fix it. But I didnât. I would say Iâm sorry, but I am not. I still love you guys though. And I am a little sorry.
(BTW, weâre really sorry for the long break! But I am on summer break right now, so everything will be alright now)
Bucky noticed it the instant they saw the other team (and doesnât that hurt; just a month ago there wasnât even another team. It was just them).
Usually at the beginning of a confrontation Tony stood at front, trying to talk with them, those beautiful eyes begging them to just listen, but still hardened with the resolve that they wouldnât. It broke Buckyâs heart every time and he cursed the Accordâs, cursed his past, cursed the UN and cursed⌠Steve. Steve, who believed he was right with his whole being. Bucky didnât mean to choose sides between his two lovers (was Tony still his lover? He hadnât touched him with the caress of a lover in a month.), but he was so used to protecting the punk against himself and everybody else. When he noticed what heâd done it was already too late.
When he went to the tower last week, JARVIS wouldnât let him in, the unembodied voice resounding with something akin to anger and resentment. When he looked up, he could see Tony in front of a window. Looking fragile as his hands hovered over the glass, before he pulled them back and let them rest on his belly. Before he could do something -anything- Natasha, no, Black Widow, the woman who stood before him was not his Natalia, appeared and told him to go away.
He did. He shouldnât have.
Tony felt his whole body tingling with hormones and adrenaline . All his focus was on his belly, which was still flat, but would soon be as big as a balloon. He couldnât see Steve or Buckyâs face from his position, which was for the better. Heâd probably cry if he saw their faces. Those pesky hormones were fucking with his emotions.
He had fought to be here. Against Natasha, Rhodey and Vision. He had to be here. He had started it; he was damn well going to finish it.
The wind carried Natashaâs voice to him. âYouâre making a mistake, Rogers. A big one. You have no idea what you are losing this very moment.
âWhatever it is, it will be worth it.â Tony doesnât think he has ever seen Natasha punch someone with so much emotion.
The rest of his team was annoying the fuck out of Tony. Heâs pretty sure he hasnât felt this useless since the summer of â98.
âDamn it Rhodey,â he growled as he once again is pulled out of the line of fire. âI can pull my own weight. You donât have to protect me!â
âWell, if it makes you feel better, Iâm actually protecting the little hellion inside you.â Tony could practically feel the smirk on Rhodeyâs face.
âDo not call my parasite a hellion, mister!â he says as he blasted a repulsor towards the feet of⌠Insect Man? Tiny Man? Incredibly Annoying Man? Oh, whatever. Man.
âYouâre calling it a,- Tony! Watch out!â The scream got Tonyâs attention to the arrow shooting his way. The arrow of material strong enough to cut through the suit- Tony would know, he made those particular set of arrows for Clintâs birthday. The arrow that was heading straight for his abdomen. For his child. He wouldnât be fast enough to dodge it. Tony couldnât believe this. This could not be true. Oh, please, n,-. Suddenly there was a red light engulfing his whole body and- the arrow -thank goodness- stopped, also engulfed by the red light. As he looked around he could see that everyone, everything was. He blinked and when he opened his eyes again, he was on the ground, the arrow uselessly lodged in a building. Tony looked at Wanda, the sure culprit of his little disappearance trick, but she was marching towards Clint, fire around her hands, and fire in her eyes.
As their eyes met Clint opened his mouth to yell at her, surely coming to the same conclusion as Tony, but before he could say anything he was hit with a blast of red magic, blowing him ten feet away, before he hit the ground. Hard.
âAre you crazy?! Do you wish to harm him in a way he will never recover from? I understand that this is a war, and that you always fight to kill. But he was, is, your friend. And if a stone heart is what you need to be an Avenger, then I am not an Avenger.â
âWhat are you talking about?! Stark sure has had worse wounds than the one I was about to deliver to him!â
âIâm not talking about wounding Tony! Isnât it obvious? Canât you feel it?! Canât you feel the new life that he is harboring?â The energy around Clint constricted like a snake, though it didnât seem like Wanda knew she was doing it. âAnd you were about to take it away from him.
Clint seemed honestly confused, upset and lost.
âI donât get it. Talk to me Wanda. Explain it to me. What are you saying?â Wanda rolled her eyes, and it that moment you could see how young she really was. Her expression wouldnât have been misplaced in a school hall, talking to her peers, joking.
âHeâs pregnant.â
It was silent in the room. Three breaths almost synchronised, but always just missing a beat. They had been in here for minutes -but for all of them it felt like hours- staring at eachother, comprehending what was happening. What had happened.
âHow long?â Steveâs tone was rough, the question coming out clipped.
âYou werenât supposed to know,â Tony answered, without actually answering. Something he used to do all the time. Something Steve and Bucky were so close of getting out of him. Of letting him know that they wanted to hear the truth. Hear what Tony really wanted to say.
Steve stalked to Tony, his walk not quite Steve Rogers, not quite Captain America, but something in between. He tried not to let it hurt when Tony flinched away when he tried to put his hand on his cheek. It still did.
âHow long, Tony, how long have you known?â
âNatasha figured it out. I was sick a lot. Threw up even more. Sometimes I was dizzy. She gave me a test.â
âHow long have you known, doll,â Bucky said materializing next to Steve. Tony remembered, Bucky used to call him doll all the time. It was his favourite nickname. It was said full of fondness and with a little bit of Brooklyn slipping into it without fail.
âDonât call me that!â Tony exploded, a fire burning in his eyes that reminded Bucky of the power Wanda used just a couple of hours before. (Had it been hours? Minutes? Time seemed to jumble.) âIâm not your doll! Iâm not your anything. If anything, Iâm your enemy.â
Steve could see Bucky flinch, physically and mentally. He knew why. It hurt to know that Tony was right. Just a while ago they were standing on the battlefield, but not with each other. Against each other. Face to face, ready to attack. Attacking. It hurt. He had never felt wrong believing in his beliefs, and standing for them. But now, for the first time, Steve felt⌠wrong for fighting. Wrong for standing, instead of sitting down and talking. They had almost lost Tony. They had almost lost their child. A child made from love and passion.
âIâm sorry,â Bucky said. âYouâre right. But⌠I want to make it right. I want to be a father to this child. And,- And, I want to be⌠a lover to you.â Tony laughed at that. The hard, cynic laugh that usually was reserved for the press when they were being especially rude, and Steve, in the beginning.
âNews flash, Bucky. Lovers donât shoot at each other. And though I canât -and wonât- stop you from being a father to our child, I have lived long enough to learn not to let anyone hurt me a second time. Especially if that person has a vibranium shield that could shatter my skull or almost a decade of sniper experience under his belt.â His tone, too, was exactly the same as when he was talking to the press. Sharp, but charming. Laced with sarcasm. It was as if he didnât care. But Steve knew Tony long enough to know he did care. He cared too much. Like he always did.
âTony,â he started.
âSteve, donât. I donât want to hear it. I donât care. I am telling you what will happen. You are welcome in the tower every day to visit our daughter, but nothing more. And donât worry about me or the pregnancy,â Tony smiled softly, the first smile of him they had seen in months, âNatasha en JARVIS are particularly vicious in protecting me. And so is Rhodey.â
âA daughter? Weâre getting a daughter?â Bucky sounded awed. A smile decorating his face. âA sweet little girl.â
âYes, yes we are,â Tony said.
âCan we be there when you deliver,â Steve asked reluctantly.
Tony looked tired. Has he been eating right, sleeping enough? Steve couldnât suppress the thoughts that he had always had.
âIâd rather you not. But things can be arranged. Iâll tell Natasha to arrange something. I will tell her to bring a sonogram with her when she does. Now,â Tony made a big show of looking at his watch, âI have to go. Accords to save. Friends to defeat. Superheroes to save. You know the drill. Oh, no, wait. You donât.â And with those parting words Tony walked to the door.
Can I just say how much I love the fact that one of the authors is asexual? Because so am I, and I would love to read a fic with asexual!Tony so maybe you would like to write it? Perhaps Tony being afraid of rejection when he tells them, but not being able to hide it from them any longer, because the thought of having sex really does scare him and he can see that he want to take the relationship to the next level. he feels like it's now or never. He has to tell them.
A/N: fair warning, this is from the perspective of someone who identifies as somewhere between grey-asexual and sex-neutral, and a lot of this is based on my misadventures in dating and the panic attacks theyâve inspired. In this fic, I wrote Tony as what I imagine being sex-repulsed asexual feels like, although heâs also demiromantic. Side note, I headcannon Steve being demisexual, although itâs not really evident in this fic.
In the almost forty years that the news had been reporting on Tony Stark, the media liked to think that they knew everything about him. He was a genius, undoubtedly, and a savvy business man. He was also a trainwreck, causing scandal after scandal with booze and drugs or by offending someone.
Tony could give credence to all of that. Arguing that he wasnât more intelligent than the majority of the population was laughable, and up until recently, he had been a complete mess in anything personal. It wasnât like he could hide anything when he was in the public eye twenty-four, seven.
Except one thing.
Tony Stark was asexual.
For twenty years, Tony had kept it under wraps. He and Rhodey had worked hard after Tony figured it out to make sure that no one else ever knew. They turned Tony into a ridiculous flirt, spread rumors of his conquests around MIT at first, and then later the military and Stark Industries. Eventually, Pepper learned the secret too, and joined in on the rumor spreading as well. Between the three of them, there wasnât a single news outlet in the world that didnât say Tony Stark was the kind of man that took a different partner to bed every night. That was normal for a guy in his position, right? No one would question it if he were hedonistic philanderer, and it would keep them from realizing that he wasnât normal, that he was terrified of sex. He had worked hard to make sure of that.
But now, Tony regretted every single word.
âHow the fuck did I let this happen, Pep?â
He heard a long, sympathetic sigh from his ex-girlfriend over the phone. She had worked out his distinct lack of sexual conquests mere days into her tenure as his assistant, and over time had managed to fall in love with him. They had managed to make it work together for a long time without sex ever being an issue, but eventually other factors in their lives drew them apart. âIâm sure that itâs not as bad as you think it is.â
âThe fuck itâs not. I should have just told them, or-â
âWhen was the last time you slept?â
Tony paused, and actually had to do the math to determine that heâd been in the workshop now for three days. There was a line of half drunk coffee cups lined up on one of the workbenches, and he knew he was covered in oil. He needed to shower, or sleep; to get a real meal or just leave the lab.
But that would mean going upstairs to where two super soldiers would be waiting with worried faces and concern when he didnât deserve any of it. Or, they could be waiting with the rejection and disdain that he definitely did deserve.
Nope. He was staying.
âTony?â
âLetâs just say itâs been a while,â Tony muttered.
âLook, just tell me what happened. Please?â
âWhat happened is that I royally fucked up again,â Tony hissed. âItâsâŚSteve and Bucky asked me to come to bed with themâŚâ
Which shouldnât have been surprising. Between the flirting, and how much time they were spending together, they had basically been dating for weeks now. Flirting was something that Tony was good at, and he honestly liked the two of them. Steve was great, the kind of great that made Tony light up just being around him, and that made him want to be a better man. Bucky was different, but in a good way. He was quiet most of the time, but he could make Tony laugh without even thinking about it, and he understood the guilt Tony felt about all of the shit that he had done wrong in his life.
The two of them had become the center of his world, and if he was being honest, he was falling in love with them a little more every day. And while they hadnât said anything, he knew they felt the same way about him too. He was luckier than he ever thought he could be to have them.
Then, three days ago, in the natural course of events, theyâd tried taking their relationship to the next step.
âIt didnât exactly come up. They thought between you and what the press saysâŚâ
âTony, itâs okay. Theyâll understand. You know that.â
âWill they?â Tony scoffed. âItâsâŚnot everyoneâŚâ He trailed off, struggling to find a way to explain it. Pepper had been okay with not having sex, but he knew it wasnât as easy for other people to have a relationship without that kind of intimacy. A little part of him had always thought that a relationship with him was pretty worthless anyways, especially if he couldnât offer them that. He knew that Pepper would say. He knew that she would try and explain that Steve and Bucky would love him anyway, that they cared about him, not that theyâd eventually get to have sex with him.
But maybe that was still a part of it. Maybe heâd lose them once he said it.
Maybe heâd already lost them when heâd walked out the door.
He dragged his hands through his hair and yanked on it. âFuck,â he hissed.
âI know this is hard, but you need to talk to them, Tony,â Pepper said soothingly. âYou know they wonât be angry.â
âOf course they wonât,â Tony sighed. âTheyâll just be hurt that I didnât tell them or that I donât trust them-â
âYou know as well as I do that it doesnât work like that,â Pepper interrupted.
Tony grit his teeth, and thought back to the one time he and Pepper had tried. He had wanted so bad to give her what he thought she deserved. He had loved her, and hoped that was enough to get him through it. They were touching for less than a minute before he was pulled into a panic attack. She hadnât said a word against him for it, and spent the rest of the night trying to calm him down and promising him that he was okay. Heâd never stopped feeling guilty though.
âThat doesnât mean theyâll see it that way,â he said quietly.
For a few moments, neither of them said anything, and Tony started to think that sheâd given up. How much more could she say after all? She had already tried convincing him that they loved him anyway, that everything would be okay.
Still, after taking a long breath, Pepper spoke again. âBut what if they do?â
Tony pulled himself so he was sitting up a little straighter while she spoke.
âSteve and Bucky have shown you again and again that you are important to them, and you deserve that Tony. You deserve to be in love with people that love you back and that understand your needs. Or lack of, as it were. I know you donât think theyâll want you after this, but youâll never know if you donât tell them. And if you donât tell them, youâll lose them anyway.â
The words started to sink in, and he rested his head against the wall behind him.
She was right. He had known she was the entire time.
That didnât mean he still wasnât afraid.
He pulled himself out of the lab two hours later, heart hammering in his chest as he walked into the elevator and asked to be taken to wherever Steve and Bucky were.
While the elevator pulled itself to their floor, he went through the motions to calm himself down, taking long breaths, and remembering Pepperâs reassurances. It helped a little. Maybe. He wasnât sure. His hands were still shaking. Either way, the elevator dinged and the door slid open. Now or never.
Slowly, he looked out of the elevator. Jarvis had announced his arrival just before he got there, and Steve and Bucky were standing nearby, looking at him with concerned expressions.
âTony?â Steve choked, looking at his disheveled appearance. âAre you okay?â
Now that he was here, Tony realized that he probably should have thought of what to say. Or maybe gone and collected himself before showing up. He probably looked like heâd been on a bender. âAhâŚnot really, now that I think of it, but thatâs not important.â
âThe fuck itâs not,â Bucky grumbled. He was in Tonyâs space without warning, dragging him gently into their living room and sitting him onto one of the couches. âWhenâs the last time you ate? Actually, never mind. Iâm making a sandwich anyway.â
Tony smiled feebly. Oh jeez, heâd missed them. He could see it on both of their faces that they were worried, that they didnât know what was going on and that they were hurt, and still their first reaction was to take care of him. He reached out and pulled Bucky into the seat across from him before he could walk off. âNo, I donât need a sandwich. Not right now at least,â he muttered. He looked up at Steve, who was still hovering nearby. âI need to talk to you first.â
A sort of sad look came into Steveâs eyes before he dropped his gaze to the floor. âThis is about our proposition the other night?â
Tony nodded slowly. âKinda. Mainly about how I reacted-which Iâm sorry about by the way. I could have handled that better.â
âItâs okay,â Steve said slowly. âWeâŚI guess we misread the situation.â
Bucky shot Steve a severe look, as if theyâd been talking about this and came to two completely different conclusions on the matter. Looking between them, Tony could tell that Steve had come out of the discussion feeling rejected, like heâd always been. Bucky was better with people, though, and when he looked back towards Tony, he had questions he wanted to ask. He started with: âCan I ask what happened? What was it that set you off?â
Tony took a moment to process the question, to breathe, to be sure he was answering the right one. âIt wasnât you guys, if thatâs what youâre asking,â he muttered, looking between the two of them. âSeriously, this-this is some of my shit. You didnât do anything wrong. IâmâŚâ
He trailed off, and grit his teeth. He really should have thought of something to say first.
He closed his eyes and took another breath. When he looked back up, Steve had taken a seat next to Bucky on the couch across from him. They still looked concerned, but Tony felt a little better as the hurt in their eyes had faded just a bit.
âTony?â Steve asked gently.
Tony took another breath, and looked at the ground. âHave you ever heard of being asexual?â
When he looked back up at them, he could see that the gears in Steveâs head were starting to turn. Buckyâs expression hadnât changed, but he responded, âIâm guessing weâre not talking about plants.â
Tony snorted, but it was Steve who answered, âNo, heâsâŚitâs a word they use for people who arenât interested in sex now-a-days.â He looked almost embarrassed as he realized what Tony was trying to say. âFuck, Tony. Iâm sorry, we didnât know-â
âNo, you didnât because I didnât tell you.â Tony looked at them seriously. âI should have and Iâm the one that needs to be sorry. ItâsâŚhard for me to talk about and Iâve spent so much time convincing everyone else that this one thing about me is normal thatâŚI justâŚI didnât want to tell you and then mess everything up. Which I did anyway, so that was kind of a moot point.â
âWhat were you messing up?â Bucky asked slowly, as if he were still trying to piece everything together. âI mean, maybe Iâm not following, but youâre saying youâre still interested in us, right? Just without the sex?â
âYes,â Tony said sharply. âI meanâŚJesus you two areâŚyou mean so fucking much to me and I know you wantedâŚand I wish I could. But Iâve tried and I canât. I just canât, and then you asked and I panickedâŚâ
He could feel his heart rate picking up as he tried to explain, and his breathing getting quicker and quicker until he felt Steve put a hand on his shoulder. He realized that heâd curled in on himself, covering his head, and breathing raggedly. Steve was on one side, slowly starting to rub circles into his back, while Bucky was on the other, slowly reaching out to take his hand.
âYou okay?â Bucky asked a few minutes later, once Tonyâs breathing had settled.
Tony nodded, and eventually choked out, âYeahâŚIâmâŚIâm alright now.â
âGood,â Steve muttered, before leaning in to drop a kiss on his temple. âThank you for telling us. I know how hard that can be to admitâŚâ
Bucky squeezed Tonyâs hand, and Tony could feel relief start to course through his chest. They werenât angry. They didnât seem hurt. Just concerned. âSoâŚso what happens now? You know the big secret, soâŚâ
âSo what? You ainât getting rid of us that easy,â Bucky said. He put a hand underneath Tonyâs jaw and moved his head so that Bucky could press their foreheads together. âIâm not gonna lie: I have no idea what youâre going through, and I canât promise Iâll always be sensitive about it. But there are other ways to be together, Tony. We just want you here with us.â
Bucky pulled away, letting Steve turn Tonyâs head towards him so he could do the same. âWeâll figure this out,â Steve promised. âWe arenât going anywhere.â
A/N: The plants line is actually a fairly common reaction I get when I use the word asexual with people whoâve never heard it applied to people before.
I don't know if u ever seen the petty revenge post about the wife who kisses her husbands sandwich so they're made w/ love expect when she's mad she won't. Imagine that with Tony making snacks for Bucky and Steve, for their mission. Tony makes it a point to kiss both Steve and his sandwich but not Bucky. Bucky is pouting through the whole mission. Even Nat is like "what's up with u" and Bucky just crosses his arms and glares at Steve, while pouting.
Honestly, Bucky blamed Steve; really, it was the little punkâs fault that Tony was mad at him. And because Tony was mad at him this whole mission seemed to go to shit. Okay, so maybe it wasnât entirely Steveâs fault. But it was at least a little bit Steveâs fault. If he had never-
âGoddamnit Bucky, pay attention,â Natasha hissed as she jabbed him into his side none too gently. âOur mark just went through the door. You had a clear shot! Whatâs up with you?â Bucky sheepishly watched as one of the leading members of a terroristic organisation walked into his heavily guarded mansion. He couldnât even remember the last time he was this distracted during a mission.
âIn my honest defense,â Bucky whispered softly, as to not blow their cover, âitâs all Steveâs fault.â It didnât matter that he just admitted that it wasnât all Steveâs fault. Natasha didnât know that.
âHowâs it my fault that you werenât paying attention?â Steve exclaimed, much louder than Buck was, making Natasha sigh.
âItâs your fault that Tony didnât kiss my lunch yesterday!â Buckyâs volume began to rise too, so Natasha decided that she had enough.
âWe have to go. Because somebody missed his shot,â and she pointedly looked at Bucky who was now pouting, âI have to go inside. So weâre going to get ready and if either of you fucks this up Iâll make sure Tony kisses neither of your lunches for a whole fucking month.â With this she stormed away, somehow still silent and undetected.
Bucky and Steve looked at each other.
âShe wouldnât, would she?â
âTony wouldnât let her, right?â They both said at the same time. They looked at eachother for a second longer before scrambling to stand and running after her.
I would love to see the three of them bonding down in Tony's workshop playing with the bots.
Tony felt like he should have seen this coming somehow. He had worked for weeks to get Steve to bring Bucky to the workshop so that he could look at his arm. He hadnât really understood why Steve had been so reluctant. Sure, Bucky had been a little unnerved by JARVIS for the first few weeks he was at the tower, but theyâd gotten along great ever since then. And the tech that he kept in his mechanics workshop was way different than JARVIS, thank-you-very-much.
Eventually Steve relented, and Tony was practically vibrating with excitement as he led the two of them downstairs, ready to get down to business and build a bionic armâŚ
When Dum-E found them.
And now Tony was relegated to a corner while Bucky cooed over the bots.
Bucky grinned over at him from where he was running his hand over Dum-Eâs arm, almost as if he were petting a dog. âStark, this thing is amazing!â
Steve laughed, sitting on the bench and waving at U and Butterfingers, who were still on their charging stations, curiously looking at the new arrival; they had met Steve months ago, but Bucky was a stranger. âYou can play fetch with them too,â Steve told Bucky helpfully, smiling when Buckyâs eyes went wide and he ran to find something in the lab that he could throw.
Tony thought it must be the arm. After all, that was physically what the big-bots were: giant metal arms to hold things Tony couldnât. So it was totally reasonable that theyâd take one look at Buckyâs prosthetic and fall in love. Not like Tony was projecting or anything. No, he thought the arm was beautiful of course, but a little bulky and dramatic, not quite right for Bucky, in his opinion. Which was what he was planning on fixing if he ever got the chance.
He tried not to pout when Bucky came back with a wrench, and waved it in front of Dum-E. âAlright, you wanna play?â Bucky asked the robot, who waved their arm excitedly. The wrench went sailing across the room, and slowly, Dum-E whirled around to chase it.
Bucky didnât seem to care how slow Dum-E was going, and just looked back at Steve and Tony as if this were one of the most amazing things he had ever seen.
It was almost cuteâŚ
Butterfingers moved off of their charging station, and rolled over towards Steve. Steve greeted them brightly, and smiled when Butterfingers tried handing a pencil to Steve. Tony remembered that the last time Steve had been here for repairs to his shield, heâd started sketching in a corner. Since Butterfingersâ early code had been in technical drafting, they had hovered over Steveâs work with interest. Steve had indulged them, even asking if the bot wanted a piece of paper for themselves so they could draw together.
U also moved off of their charging station, and wheeled over to Bucky and Dum-E.
Bucky laughed as he took the wrench back. âThat was really good, buddy,â he said, patting Dum-Eâs front support strut again. âYou want me to throw it some more or-â
Before he could even try, U pulled the wrench from Buckyâs grasp, and held it over Buckyâs head. Bucky turned around, almost affronted until U wriggled their arm in such a way that it looked playful. Buckyâs expression lit up.
âAre you playing keep-away?â he blurted, jumping to try and get the wrench.
U made a squalling noise, and started rolling across the lab with the wrench, with Bucky following behind, grinning madly.
Tony almost whined as they continued playing. This wasnât fair at all. He was going to do work, actual work today, and now Bucky and Steve were off being adorable with his robotsâŚ
He actually did whine when Bucky delicately tried climbing up on top of U to get the wrench, which was followed by U chucking the wrench in DUM-Eâs direction. The other bot whirred in confusion before moving to pick the thing up while Bucky jumped down from U to try and grab it first.
Oh jeez. They were treating his babies likeâŚWell. Like he did.
No one else in the tower did that.
Steve walked over and sat next to Tony with a smile on his face. âYou were right, this was a great idea,â he admitted. Butterfingers was still hovering over him, and trying to show him a different pen now, inviting Steve to draw with them again.
âOf course it was. All of my ideas are great,â Tony said, because it was a good idea. This might be torture to watch, but it was still a great idea. He watched Bucky play with DUM-E and U for a few more moments before looking at Steve. âI didnât expect him to be this excited, though. ActuallyâŚ.I donât think Iâve ever seen him thisâŚbouncy? Is that the word for this? Heâs not secretly unscrewing all of their bolts to annoy me, is he?â
Steve snorted. âNo, I donât think so,â he assured Tony. âBut, yeah, heâs been doing a lot better lately and he really wanted to come see them. He was always really into the idea of rockets and androids when we were kids.â
âReally?â
âYeah. He always wanted a dog, and thought a robot-dog would be even better. Said we could save on food and it wouldnât mess with my allergies.â
Which explained Buckyâs excitement with the robots following him around now. Tony would have to keep that in mind. Hadnât they thought about getting a therapy dog for Bucky? He could probably get someone in R&D to do the research into dog behavior for him, then he could handle the AI component. Maybe after the arm was doneâŚ
âYou should not have told me that, CapâŚâ
Although a glance at Steve told Tony that he knew exactly what he had just spawned.
Bucky had finally retrieved the wrench, and was now trying to defend it by running across the room and hiding behind Tony.
âSafe zone!â he blurted at the robots, who whirred at their loss, although it came out a lot like laughter. Bucky couldnât help but laugh back at them, and slump onto the bench. âOh jeez Stark. Can I keep one of them?â
âHey, no. These are my assistants, they stay here,â Tony blurted. He didnât want to pay for whatever clumsy games they played in the common area. Not to mention he didnât know if he could handle this cuteness upstairs as well as down here.
Steve spoke up with a mischievous tone in his voice, âDidnât you threaten to donate them to a community college last time I was here?â
Buckyâs eyes went comically wide. âStark, you didnât.â
âI didnât mean it,â Tony whined. âRight guys, tell him I would neverâŚâ
U made a sort of shrugging motion, like they werenât sure. DUM-E moved over and tried to hug Tony, which resulted in several objects on a nearby shelf getting knocked over.
Tony winced, and looked at Bucky who was snickering. âI would never, but would you blame me if I did?â
Steve stood up, and moved to pick up the objects that had fallen. âItâs okay, DUM-E, we still love you.â
And Tony most definitely pretended that he didnât hear that. Nope. Because if Steve and Bucky loved his bots as people (Well, okay, not people. Robots werenât people. But if you didnât treat them like people then Tony would not treat you like you were a person eitherâŚ) then that meant Tony would have to keep them and never let them go. Tony didnât have a good track record of keeping people.
By the time he finally got his scans of Buckyâs arm and started designing the new one, the bots had finally made their way to their docks again. Bucky and Steve both made sure to say goodbye to each of them before walking out of the lab, and the three of them waved at them, sad to see them go. The only thing that perked them up was Tonyâs promise that Steve and Bucky would visit again soon.
Yup. Tony was definitely going to have to keep them.
Alpha!Steve and Alpha!Bucky courting Omega!Tony - with jewelry and the whole nine yards
Tony Stark wasnât ashamed of being an Omega. On the contrary, he thrived on being one. Not only was being a Omega a good outlet âand excuse- to let out his more caring side, but it was also common knowledge that Omegaâs had better instincts, which came very handy if you had to save the world from electrified yellow blobs of something  every other weekend. And any asshole that overstepped his boundaries or assumed he could own Tony Stark was quickly reminded that he wasnât only an Omega: he was also fucking Iron Man.
And even though Biology wasnât really his forte, he still was a prodigy. So that meant that he knew that Omegaâs just were different than Alphaâs and Betaâs, biologically speaking. That, however, didnât mean that Omegaâs were lesser than them. Tony wasnât stupid. He knew that he had it easy as an Omega, with a rich father, a supporting mother and enough influence that most people didnât even dare to breathe wrong at him. There were enough Omegaâs who had it a tough time surviving in this world that was still preliminary run by Alphaâs. The rape and abuse statistics of Omegaâs were astounding, and Tony was going to change that. Or at least he was going to lay the ground for the brilliant Omegaâs who were going to change it in another lifetime.
But still, being an Omega wasnât bad, Tony was proud of who he was. At least, in the biological aspect. And the Avengers made it very easy to do exactly that. They supported him relentlessly, and the one time in the beginning, when Fury wanted to have him benched because this was âdelicate, gory work not suitable for Omegaâsâ he almost had a mutiny on his hands. Tony found it hilarious; Fury not so much.
So, long story short, being an Omega was kinda fun. Being Tony however wasnât always fun. Despite his strong campaigning Omegaâs were still expected to uphold a certain standard.. Tony was the exact opposite. He was loud-mouthed, opinionated, smart and not afraid to show it, and very independent. And all that while he was living with examples of the perfect Alphas. Natasha, Steve, Bucky, even the Hulk were the exact mix of chivalrous and protective while still respecting Tonyâs boundaries. Of course they made mistakes, but they were learning, and trying. They were doing good.
And Tony was also trying. He was trying to not play the role of the âgenius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropistâ that he had adopted when he was in his young teens. He was trying to show his team how much he cared for him. He was trying to lower his defences. Tony knew he was failing. But at least he was trying.
One way he was trying was by attending the teamâs dinner nights as much as possible. Sometimes Jarvis had to remind him or Steve had to physically drag him out of the lab. But it went well. He liked cooking for the team. Most people thought he couldnât cook, because, well, he was Tony Stark. But Ana taught him everything there was to know about the Hungarian kitchen, and he loved to watch his mother cook on the rare days she did. Eventually she got tired of his questions and just taught him everything there was to know about the great Italian kitchen.
âOh my God Tony what is this?!â Clint exclaimed. âItâs delicious! Itâs Godâs food. Should we eat this Thor? Your father is not gonna strike us, is he?â
âSilly human,â Thor exclaimed. âMy father wouldnât strike you. He would send someone to do it.â The fact that Thor had a serene smile on his face was probably a very bad sign. Clint looked appalled, he looked down-right offended.
âWhat do you mean, he wouldnât strike me himself?! I am an Avenger! One of the earthâs mightiest heroes. If I deserve striking the supreme God of the Gods will strike me.â As he said that he flailed his arms wildly, making a glob of the âhonestly delicious- food fall directly into Natashaâs lap.
Natasha just glared, but as she was reaching for Clint, Tony simply produced a handkerchief and wiped of the soup off of Natashaâs lap. She shot him a grateful smile and something in his heart bloomed.
âNow, now children, be nice. Mommy worked really hard on this. So be civilised,â at this point Tony fixed Clint with a hard stare, âand eat.â
Clint batted his eyelashes and tried to look innocent. âYes, Mommy.â
Everyone at the table collectively shuddered.
âHey Tony, are you busy?â One thing Tony liked about his teammates was that they tried really hard to respect his boundaries. They always asked before entering his space, if it were his lab or to get a hug, it didnât matter.
Tony turned around and saw Bucky and Steve hovering around the doorway, before he went back to tinkering with a new update for the Starkpad.
âSure, come in, what can I do for you, Capiscle, Buckaroo? The arm is not acting up again, is it? I swear to God Bucky with everything you put that arm through I ought to put it out of its misery.â In pure Tony fashion he sprung from one thing to the next, âJar-jar, can you zoom into this piece for me real quick. There seems to be a hitch in the cable. Talk to me baby, what has mommy done wrong. Havenât I solidified you right?â
âYou should really stop calling yourself Mommy, doll. I really donât wanna kink shame you.â
At this Tony turned around and focused all his attention on the two Alphaâs. He raised a brow, âKink shaming? Someone is using the StarkPad Iâve given him. Iâm proud of you, babe.â
âReally? And whatâs my reward? I think I deserve a reward. Positive reinforcement and everything.â
âDepends, what do you want? A sticker? A cookie?â
âI was thinking in a whole different direction, darlinââ. Bucky licked his lips and Tonyâs heart pretty much stopped. He should probably be scared that the Arc Reactor isnât working well, but really, it would be Buckyâs fault if he fell down right now. Death by sexual attraction is a thing, you know. Luckily he was saved from answering that with a possibly embarrassing squeak by Steve, who pushed his elbow into Buckyâs ribs.
Bucky scowled as he rubbed the sore spot.
âWhat he meant was, do you have a moment to talk?â Steve said, glaring at Bucky.
âFor you, always Sugarcube,â Tony turned around as he batted his eyelashes exaggeratedly a few times. âWhat did you guys want?â
âWe,- Uh, we just kinda,â the confident Steve suddenly disappeared, and a redness appeared on his cheeks.
âSeventy years in the ice, and he still got no game,â Bucky rolled his eyes. âWe actually wanted to give you something. Steve made it, he thought youâd like it.â
Tonyâs eyebrows rose. âOh?â
Steve smiled that sweet, innocent little smile of his that always reminded Bucky of the skinny kid from Brooklyn.
âYeah, I hope you like it. We were actually wondering if you wanted to go to dinner with us, and⌠uh, it would be a real honour if you would wear theseâŚâ Tony looked down at the box that Steve thrust towards him and he gasped as he saw the wooden cufflinks. Tony honestly was flabbergasted. Sure, Steve, Bucky and he flirted a lot, but he honestly they were just playing. Nothing serious, just a little bit of fun with the one person in the tower they knew they could have exactly that. Nothing serious.
Tony was used to being nothing serious, so he didnât mind being the plaything of a happy couple. He actually liked being the object of their attention. Even though he knew it was nothing serious, they did make him feel special. Every time Bucky made cookies and only shared them with Steve and him and every time Steve came down to drag him to a team movie night, he felt butterflies in his stomach. Of course he had to drown those in alcohol as soon as the moment past, to kill those treacherous beasts. But it was good.
âListen doll,âbucky interrupted the silence that he hadnât noticed, because of his inner ramblings, âif you⌠donât want to. Thatâs alright. We wonât hold it against you. Or be mad. You can just say no.â
Tony didnât even hesitate when he said, âI know.â Because he did know. He knew that if he said no, that would be the end of it. They wouldnât pressure him, nor would they make him feel like he was in the wrong for rejecting them. They would just let him be. He could see it on their faces, it was a mix of hope, resignation andâŚfondness. If Tony wasnât a genius, he would doubt his own assessment. But he was. A genius that is.
He was one hundred percent sure that he saw fondness on both  their eyes.
They were both fidgeting by now, the hope on their face slowly diminishing, and Tony could feel his heart breaking.
âOkay. Sure. I could go eat with you. But I want Polish food. And roses.â The smile that split Steveâs face looked like it hurt. Bucky was a little less exuberant, but the smile that tugged at his lips made Tonyâs world light up.
âGreat! Does Saturday suit you? Around 7?â
Tony couldnât hold back his own smile at Steveâs earnest enthusiasm. âYeah, sure, Saturdayâs fine.â
Both men walked towards Tony and placed a chaste kiss on both his cheeks. Tony most definitely didnât blush. And JARVIS most definitely didnât have photos. No change.
Two hours later, while Tony was busy working on the Mark 42, a routine maintenance check, his eyes fell on the box with the cufflinks. And if he sighed dreamily and a smile practically split his lips. Well then, nobody but his bots needed to know.
The date was perfect, and luckily, after the date nothing changed. Cap didnât bench him on dangerous missions, Bucky still tinkered with him on cars. He was still nagged by both of them to âget some goddamn sleep Tony.â So everything was the same. Well, almost everything was the same. Since they asked him out, random gifts started appearing in his kitchen, his lab, even his bedroom. Leather bracelets, silver necklaces and rings. Even a belly ring. How they know he had his belly pierced in another period of his life still remained a mystery to him. Tony had no doubt about who they came from. He thought that only made him love them more. They were beautiful, but sophisticated, things that Tony wouldâve chosen himself.
It took a few weeks of dates, a closet full of  of  gifts and a lot of -decreasingly less stealthy- hints from the team for Tony to understand what was happening. To be fair, âthey lived in the goddamn twenty-first century here guysâ, and the practices of the Brooklyn boys were pretty much foreign now.  So when a frustrated Natasha -and wasnât that a sight to see- finally yelled the truth in his face, he was flabbergasted.
Tony could believe the Brooklyn buys were fucking courting him. Asking if they could mark them. The old-fashioned way. Damn.
The next day while they were lounging on the couch, just cuddling and watching some mindless tv, Tony took their hands.
âYou couldâve asked guys. Iâm not good at this stuff. I thought this wasâŚâ he trailed off.
âYou thought this was just about sex,â Bucky said, and Tony just nodded.
âButâŚnow I know. Are you sure? Iâm not really made out of top-Omega stuff. You know that.â
Steve turned Tonyâs head to him and kissed him, rough and promising. âWe know. Youâre made out of top-Tony stuff. Much smarter, much sexier.â Tony smiled and stood up. He walked to the door of his -no their bedroom. After he had shed his shirt, he looked to the guys still sitting on the couch.
âAre you guys coming? Iâm wearing your newest gift.â Even for supersoldiers the speed with which they stood should be impossible. Bucky fistbumped the air as he walked to Tony. He knew the pearl beads would be an awesome idea. Suck it Steve.
