Train Suite Shiki-shima is a Luxury Train! It is a specially designed hybrid electric and diesel E001 series operated by JR East! The designer for this Train is Ken Okuyama, an industrial designer who's notable for working with Ferrari. It consists of 10 cars, including sleeping cars, observation cars, a lounge car, and a dining car. The exterior is colored it's very own "Shikishima Gold"!

The name Shikishima is another name for Japan. It translates to "Island of Four Seasons". The Train's route and stops it takes depends on the season, and lasts 2-4 days (depending on the course). The concept of the Train is "Deep Exploration", so each trip is meant to showcase local food and culture (and each itinerary is rather meticulous).

To even buy a ticket, you must go through a lottery system, and because it is a luxury train, tickets are not cheap. While fares vary on the trip length and whether or not you get a fancier room, the minimum ticket price is ¥440,000 ($2,749.90 for a 1-night, 2-day course) while the maximum is ¥1,950,000 ($12,187.06 for a 3-night, 4-day course)

The train has its own dedicated waiting room (named Prologue Shiki-shima) and platform at Uneo Station (Platform 13.5)!

The car that Ingo and Emmet are in in the illustration is car #5, the lounge car (and entrance to the train), the design is meant to mimic being in a forest with light dappled through the canopy leaves. It also has a 24-hour bar and piano music playing.

Oh and there is a dress code if you are onboard. It is business causal during the day, and in the evening for dinner it is a formal :]

You know what? Fuck it I'm adding more context. Sesame Street has talked about the topic of death more than once and it's done with such gentle carefulness without watering down or censoring the heaviness of the situations. It treats heavy subject matter with respect and dignity and has been for DECADES. From the early 1980s:

Hell, they even cover the devastating heaviness of MASS SHOOTINGS without censoring or watering anything down.

They've been doing this for YEARS, and it's ALWAYS handled with dignity, respect, seriousness, understanding, and love.

Whenever I see people censoring words because it "might offend" someone or the big ad companies that are currently trying to run everything? I just want to say to them: "What? Is Sesame Street too mature for you?" Because really...what the hell are we doing.
