INFINITY WAR FIX IT FICS (FOR LOKI)
For those of us, like me, who are very upset and in extreme denial. It’s been a few weeks, so I figure I can post this now.

Thanos is defeated, Steve takes a break in New Hampshire, and he finds himself with an unexpected guest. I wrote this to deal with my feelings basically first thing after Infinity War, and it’s mostly just that - feelings. No actual “solutions” or anything, just…”everything is fine and let’s deal with the fallout.”
A Moment of Peace by Loxxlay (WIP)
This is just a straight up alternate universe, written pre-Infinity War, and while it’s hella painful it’s still less painful than what we got. There’s still one final chapter to go, but what’s up so far is a marvelous work full of feelings and whump and excellence.

Thor doesn’t accept losing his people. He rips the Time Stone out of its setting in a last ditch effort to fix things, and actually manages to make it work. This one’s a nice, long-ish one - I especially enjoyed the confrontation between older Thor and his younger self.
A Moment at a Time by lowhangingfruit
Thor and Loki are visited throughout their childhood by a one-eyed stranger. I loved the conceit of this one, and sad Thor desperate to fix things (and succeeding!) is apparently a thing I’m really into.

A non-linear fic from Valkyrie’s point of view, bouncing between the events of Ragnarok and events after Thor sends her away from the Statesman. An AU fix-it fic with time travel, this time with Val.

Loki dies, but he doesn’t go away, and his ghost still has a few tricks up its sleeve. This is a short, really cool piece.
Happily Ever After by Loxxlay (WIP)
This is one of those “after everything resolves and everyone comes back to life” recovery fics that I would read five million of - everyone trying to deal with their lingering issues, it’s emotional, angst, hurt/comfort…all that good stuff. I would read five million words of this specific fic.
Oh, Hey There, Mister Blue by iguessyouregonnamissthepantyraid (WIP)
A total AU where after being rescued from Thanos’s ship where he was held captive, Loki stays with the Guardians. Written before Infinity War came out, so it doesn’t follow canon at all, but…I mean, that’s not what we’re here for, is it? And even as someone who isn’t usually a big fan of the Guardians, I really enjoyed their interactions with Loki here. (And some quality Loki whump in the bargain.)

Loki starts setting a plan in place by using Valkyrie - there’s only one chapter of this one so far, but I love it. It’s a perfectly twisty and manipulative Loki, using both traits for (probably) good ends. I’m really excited to see where it goes.
Turn Your Face Toward the Sun by queenbaskerville (WIP)
Loki attempts a solid body double and manages to survive the explosion. This one is subtitled “the Loki and Valkyrie road trip of sadness” which makes it pretty much my ideal Infinity War fix it right there (okay, I have a lot of ideal fix-its, but this is a good one.).

Loki plays a trick. I love this one - it has Loki pretending to work for Thanos (which is a thing that I love) and turn on Thor, and properly demonstrating, you know, actual trickery and intelligence. And a very satisfying fix.
Road Work Ahead by officialzeloswilder (WIP)
Peter Parker and Loki go on a road trip to escape the land of the dead, only things kind of get complicated. This fic is just delightful so far - Peter and Loki’s interactions are priceless, there’s feelings but not too much angst…I’m really enjoying it, and at least so far it’s been updating pretty fast.
End of a World, Beginning of Another by Ohdotar
Post-Ragnarok, Thor, Loki, and Valkyrie need to find a way to deal with the Infinity Stones before a certain someone shows up. They go looking for the mortal who’s actually housed one of them. There’s four chapters of this one already and I am delighted by the concept of the team-up alone.

Loki intends to go back in time and kill Thanos, but ends up going back a lot further back than that - and decides to try to fix a lot more while he’s at it. You may have noticed that it seems like I am here for all of the time travel fix its, and that’s because I am.

Somehow, Valkyrie finds herself queen of the remnants of Asgard. Loki might be dead, but he’s still causing her problems. (And maybe he’s not quite as dead as he seems.) Basically, the ghost of Lokis past is haunting Val as she tries to hold what’s left of Asgard together.

Loki never used to feel cold, but after coming back from the dead, he feels it all the time. Comfort sex ensues. It’s a little bit of angst and a lot of sweet comfort.

It feels weird to call a fic that’s basically “reclaiming your choking kink after death by strangulation” ‘sweet’ but…somehow this one manages it. I didn’t know that I wanted this fic, but apparently I did.

Thanos thinks he’s won. Loki shows up to explain how he’s made a serious miscalculation. I don’t know how to talk about this one without spoiling the great logic that goes into it - it’s sort of meta-as-fic with some really satisfying schadenfreude in it. Though I still want the reunion scene.

A role reversal AU where Thor dies instead of Loki, but he comes back by the end of the fic (no spoilers, it’s in the tags) - I love the time travel portion of this AU and the conclusion to it is…I’d read another 50k of this, not going to lie.

Loki’s back from the dead, but all is not quite well. An angsty fix-it fic with Thor and Loki, where things may be nominally fixed but…really only nominally. (Things work out okay, though.)
