//sorry for my absence atm!! I might have to go on semi hiatus just for a few more days because i'm trying to keep up with school whilst also being sick and it's getting a little hard

also on a side note since i'm trying to catch up with school work right now would anyone be able to spare the time to do a survey i need a bazillion people to do by tomorrow? not gonna lie some of the questions are annoying but it would really help me out since i'm not sure i'll be able to get the right amount of people in such a short amount of time

When Grey Wind finally saw her, he knew her.  How could he not?  It had been a while but there was no mistaking who she was.  His expression softened a bit, a faint smile on his lips.  "Yes…I am.  You.. you would not recognize me like this miss…" He dropped his gaze a bit as he got to his feet, his head bowed still.  "My name is Grey Wind…"

His words had struck something within her, her lips parting in the slightest of fashions once he announced his name. It made her think of Robb, and of his direwolf of the same name the man had spoken. Had she heard incorrectly? Was her mind playing tricks on her? Perhaps her grief over her uncle's wedding was overwhelming her and twisting the reality. "Your name is Grey Wind?"

Sansa tried not to show how disconcerted she felt in their meeting now, a strange feeling hanging over her. The thought that this human and the wolf might be the same entity did not even cross her mind; this man was a man, and the wolf was a wolf, and they were entirely separate to her. Maybe he had begun calling himself after my brother's direwolf when he heard of Robb's victories in battle. It was the only explanation she could think of. "So you named yourself after my brother's direwolf, then?"

"How might I be of service?" Grey Wind looked up, one hand on the hilt of the sword he had, the other with a cloth, cleaning the blade.  It was a good sword, not expensive, one he had found.

At first when Sansa had heard the man speak, she wasn't aware he was speaking to her. What would she want with a man and his sword? After looking around her to seek who he might have been speaking to and finding no one else responding, she finally gives him an apprehensive, yet slightly confused expression. "Are you speaking to me?"

Robb had melting flakes in his hair when he hugged me, and the snowball Arya tried to make kept coming apart in her hands. It hurt to remember how happy she had been that morning. Hullen had helped her mount, and she’d ridden out with the snowflakes swirling around her, off to see the great wide world. I thought my song was beginning that day, but it was almost done.

➳ Sansa

Arya was in the castle garden, fiddling with a selection of pebbles she’d discovered and arranged on the ground. Kings Landing was bright and shiny, but soon enough Arya’s eyes grew tired of all the finery and glittering things. Escaping to someplace green and quiet except for tinkling fountains was just what the doctor ordered. She’d just made the pebbles into a whirl shape when out of the corner of her eye - shoes. Shoes that looked an awful lot like Sansa’s. Sprinting behind the fountain, Arya watched to see if her sister would come closer. A tiny clacking noise revealed that a few pebbles were still in her hand, producing an impish grin. Taking aim as though she was trying to knock over pins, the little Stark let the pebbles race off towards gilded slippers.

As exciting as the courts, and the singers and ladies and gents were, Sansa felt the need to take a moment for herself. There was much going through her mind; many thoughts that made her stomach flutter and others that made her stomach coil. I will be Queen, she mused to herself, a smile breaking across her face as her eyes watched the ground absent-mindedly, I will be Joffrey's Queen. Though that was a thought that made her stomach flutter, the coiling came soon after when she remembered that the young prince seemed to be displeased with her. Her lips pursed as she continued with her thoughts, walking into the quiet gardens of the keep.

"Wh--" Sansa was quickly pulled back into reality when she heard the clattering of pebbles against the ground. Blue eyes looked up to spot the small stones just in time before she realized they were skidding towards her feet. The first one she dodged by stepping to the side quickly out of fright, but the second one caught her on the toe of her slippers, and the third rebounded off the ground and bounced into her shin. "Ow!"

Recoiling from the sudden attack, she bounded a few steps backwards, looking at the fountain with wary eyes. Why was someone throwing stones at her? Had she displeased yet another person? At least Joffrey had the grace not to hurt her physically with his resentment. Her startled words filled the air as she called out to her attacker, simultaneously trying to ignore the pain that was radiating from her shin. "-- Who's there?"

Stannis sighed impatiently. The girl was not being very useful. Now that he thought about it, though — he couldn’t remember how he ended up in the strange place either. Was it some kind of a trick? A dream? The more he thought about it, the less he seemed to know. His brow focused in a frown when he tried to recall the events before he had woken up on a rocky beach as the waves sprayed salt water all over him, but all he could remember was the dark bed chamber back in Dragonstone. 

 "—-Salt water," he murmured all of the sudden. “Wherever we are, it is a long way home with the ocean in between. This is not Westeros, that we both can agree on, no?"

 "And you are absolutely certain you have seen no one? I do not take deceit lightly, I’ll have you know that, child."

Salt water? A look of confusion crossed Sansa's delicate features when she first heard him announce the words in a seemingly random fashion. Only after he continued did she understand then, as she too had seen the sea when she first awoke on the sand banks. That was before she had thought it a good idea to search the exotic forest-- the exotic forest of which she hadn't seen the like of before. Never did it cross her mind that she might not be in Westeros, however, the notion being entirely impossible since she could remember being in King's Landing only the night before. 

Nonetheless, she offered a small nod, finding it inopportune to outright disagree with the man now. How was he sure they were not just somewhere in Westeros that neither of them had travelled to before? Though to be fair, Sansa herself could not recall learning anything about terrain such as this in her lessons.

"I'm not lying," she retorted, slightly defensive now as she felt both tired and frustrated. "And I'm no child."

Standing there with her ripped silks and unkempt auburn hair, her uneven breath whilst she tried to catch it was the only sound between them when she came to realize her insolence to the man with the sword. "I-- My apologies, I'm just-- I'm a little confused and lost, and--... Hold on. You said "we". Wherever we are. You're lost too, then?"

How could he tell he couldn’t be healed, She would freak out if he told her he was dead. “C-can’t..be h-healed."

"That's folly, everyone can be healed." Can't they? There were some illnesses that might not be curable, though Sansa couldn't remember the names. Blue eyes narrowed slightly, focusing on his appearance and trying to figure out if she had heard of or seen such things happen to someone before.

"If I may be so bold... What is it you have wrong with you?" Sansa made sure to remember her courtesies, even though she didn't get the impression he was of nobility.

Maester? Sounded interesting. “N-No.."

Her brow furrowed at that. What sort of person neglected themselves so much they had gotten to such a deteriorated state without seeing a maester?

"Why haven't you? You need to see one so they can heal you," Sansa said with slight annoyance, as if it was something obvious that she shouldn't need to point out. That's when the thought struck her. "Are you not from Westeros?"

Well he kind of was sick. Eating brains for breakfast, dinner and lunch was kind of unhealthy. But he kind of didn’t care, He was dead and he didn’t have a heartbeat.

He isn't responding. Was he being rude or was he genuinely having trouble forming a reply? Sansa shifted a little awkwardly, wondering what she should do or say. 

"Have you seen a maester?"

"..." There was no way in Seven Hells that he was healthy, just by looking at him Sansa felt uncomfortable in how unwell he seemed. His pasty skin and visible veins being the most disturbing. "If you're sick, you shouldn't ignore it. It could get worse."

If it hadn't progressed into the worst state already, whatever he had.
