Suddenly Yellow approached the bed again, her voice tearing the quietness of this place.
—You better QUIT LYING! Do you even hear yourself?! You won't sell us that nonsense! Stop playing around!
However ths bright angel just looked at Yellow:
Yellow spread all her wings
—You know what? Yes! I'm done. Done with you trying to act all calm about this! Are you mad? Have you lost your mind?!
The bright angel kept listenind without responding.
—Insanity! Unbelievable! This is not what Purpur gave life for! This is disrespect! This is vulgarity! This is-
—Yellow,—the bright angel suddenly stopped her. The expression was unreadable.—Out.
—What?—she stopped in her tracks.
—Out,—she repeated in the same tone. Her eyes seemed to catch the light differently, making them shine.—Right now. Until you'll get some consequences.
Yellow folded her wings. That looked a bit unnatural. For a second, Sylvia thought she fell into trance. Under the bright angel's gaze, Yellow stiffly walked somewhere away.
Only then the bright one looked back too Sylvia.
—Excuse us, my hatchling. She is not typically behaving like that. Shall we continue?
Sylvia meanwhile noticed own condition—exhausted. The earlier tears, fear, stress were making her still fragile beaten body lightly sway. Additionally to that, she felt a muffled pain creeping back to her limbs. Not too strong to hurt, not too light to not acknowledge.
—I'm sorry... I feel that... the pain is coming back. Could we continue later?
Without thinking much, the bright angel leaned to Sylvia. In her hand was a tiny glass vial with some transparent liquid in it. She shook it and the liquid shined for a moment before returning to the first condition.
—This shall dull the pain. Let the light come through the enzyme. When it shines—sip a little droplet. You wouldn't want to drink more.
Sylvia followed the instruction. The liquid had a pleasant taste. She felt like wanting more. However, she remembered the bright one's words.
—Keep it by yourself, my hatchling. Intake it when the ache returns. But do not forget about the dosage.
The bright one considered silently. Or maybe she just held pause. Her face was barely changing expressions.
—You stay. Heal. We will provide you a place for living. It will be accommodated to your special needs,—Sylvia shievered at hearing those words.—You will be assisted until you can exist by yourself.
—But... Earth... My native town...
The bright angel didn't respond. It was telling for itself. Sylvia decided not to push. Maybe later she can persuade them.
—Rest, little hatchling. We'll answer further questions later. We shall say goodbye for now
Sylvia nodded. She laid down on her side, facing slightly down so the wings' remains wouldn't interfere. The bright one was about to leave, when she turned back to Sylvia.

—Sorry for interrupting,—Sylvia raised her palm,—I know who you are... You,—she looked at the bright one,—are White. The first one. The goddess, who rules all the angel kind, from the newborn ones to the oldest.

A faint warmth spread Sylvia's cheeks.
—Human books about angels... I... I studied them a lot,—she rubbed her fingers awkwardly.—I was curious about my kind.
White's lips twitched for a second.
—Those humans are pretty observant. No wonder they have not went extinct yet,—she returned her gaze to Sylvia.—What else can you tell me?
Sylvia glanced at Yellow's direction. Her wings were sticking out from behing a pillar.
—She is Yellow. People suppose it's not her real name... She leads angel armies in the hardest fights. A perfect strategist, who makes the most unexpected and the most successful moves. Most likely she rules alongside you,—Sylvia shievered.—She's... very dangerous. Some people say she-...
Sylvia went quiet. She realized she said too much. However White tilted her head to the side.
—Go on, hatchling. We are not going to get offended by nonsense, written by humans
Sylvia took a breath, averting her eyes. A wave of heat clung to her cheeks.
—It really is nonsense... Some sources were saying that people saw her... tasting human limbs. As a food source or as a triumpf above the army that lost...
That's when Sylvia heard that powerful bark of laughter. She looked at White. However, her face was staying neutral. Sylvia felt goosebumps on her skin.
—Oh darlin'. Humans are so naive. We do not do such barbarism. Besides, human meat is way too plain for us. It is like chewing on the grass.
Sylvia didn't ask further questions. White's answer forced her to keep them for later.
—Thanks.... for saving,—Sylvia mumbled.—I'll better rest...

Sylvia hummed. She looked to the direction where Yellow went, trying to come up what to say. But White didn't need that.
—Ah. I see. Well then, Yellow would be assigned to check on you from time to time. And worry not, she will not snap anymore. Is not it right, sunshine?—she lightly tilted her head to Yellow's direction.
—...Yes... White.—the reply was forsed, said through squeezed teeth.
White nodded, satisfied by own power.
—Rest well, little hatchling
And after that she disappeared behind the columns. Sylvia didn't hear her fly away. Unlike Yellow, whose wings flapped heavily.
Sylvia sank back. She was about to succumb into sleep when a thought struck her head.
