The Starlight Initiative's Weekend of Gift Giving 2025 is Taking Place December 12th - 14th!

Hiya everyone!

The Starlight Initiative is sitting at around three weeks before we start the main event! We are currently actively working to make sure we can bring Starlight cheer to everyone!

The Weekend of Gift Giving will be live again this year of 2025 from December 12th - 14th! We'll be be located on the North American Data Center of Crystal, Mateus, Empyreum, Ward 9, Plot 42! As always, the times for each evening will run from 6PM - 11PM Central!

We're looking very forward to fulfill as many wishes as possible again this year! :>

Wishlists and gift exchange trades can be made on our Discord for early fulfillment, as well as discussed for delivery out to other servers! Otherwise, please catch us at the above date and place!

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers and donors with open arms! If you would like to fulfill a creative volunteer role of artist, writer, or gposer, we have a form you can fill out here. Please note that all volunteers must be in the Discord for ease of planning and discussion.

Thank you all so far for the amazing efforts already! I hope that we can make this Starlight even brighter than last year!

You may participate in any creative way you'd like, using any of the three prompts of the week(end). Be sure to use the #JULEZEN2026 tag when posting your works. You may also tag @JULEZEN directly.

The dates provide some structure but do not take them as firm deadlines. This is meant to be a fun way to celebrate elezen, not summer homework! Feel free to share your wonderful creations during the week, too! I am hoping this format will give participants more freedom and less pressure.

It's almost time! With a new host and a (slightly) new look, it's still the same old WoLyse week we all know and love.

So, how is this gonna work? Great question! Same as in previous years, but with a few extra things to help me promote your work. First up, I've created a feed for WoLyse Week 2026 over on Bluesky so everyone who tags their posts will have it show up there.

Second, I've also created a Collection over on AO3 for the fanfic writers! All you have to do is add your fics to it and they'll show up there for all to enjoy. Hopefully. I've, uh… never done an AO3 collection before, so bear with me.

Another lovely summer is upon us, and that means it's time to celebrate with yet another xiv event!!

Since the plan is to stretch it throughout summer, I’m doing a longer “deadline” for each prompt + an opening and closing day. This way, we can star/end together but still have our own pace in betweens <3

MAKE SURE TO USE: #XIV HEATWAVE FESTIVAL

As always with my prompts: you will get a theme + a specific prompt + a quote. This time, since it's weekly prompts, you can use any of the 3 prompts any time during that week. Be it just one or multiple posts per week, mix and match some of them, skip others entirely - you do you!

this list is intended for every medium! I once again made sure to add quote prompts to make it easier for writers, but feel free to pick and choose whatever you want: gpose, art, gifs, writing, anything goes!

none of the prompts are mandatory, specially not this time. you have 3 prompts every week to use them as you please!

Calling All Author OCs!!

I am currently working on an upcoming little project. A book and alchemy shop venue. The shop is built and most things are ready but I am currently looking for AUTHOR OCS who would be interested in having their books on the shops shelves.

I will have the venues carrd book section organized into genres and books will be listed with author name, book title and brief synopsis.

Absolutely any sort of genre is fine. Fiction or non-fiction. Serious or not serious. SFW, NSFW, it's all fine. History books, cookbooks, anything.

You also absolutely do not have to have entire works written out to be able to be part of this. I am only looking to have brief synopsis written. I only want a few lines per book since i'd like to be able to showcase a lot of OCs works and not take up too much space.
