Fractured Reprise is a long series with extra bits, a sequel, and a prequel. a story about second chances and forgiveness, and some found family as well (there is blood and murder in this series but nothing super graphic ((i can't handle that myself so)))
A Partner To Treasure is a more classic pmd story with a human-turned-pokemon that wakes up in the pokemon world with only remembering her name and the fact she was human. she's very suspicious about the very first pokemon she meets though
Phantom Remnant is a story about a strange mimikyu that wakes up with no memories. no name, no disguise, no anything, and so he tries to find out about his past, but he's also scared of it

this video is making me lose my mind for multiple reasons
when i was first going thru those 2 chapters with burning spice and golden cheese, and we got peeks into how he used to be and what happened and how he's become what he is now, it just
absolutely hurt my soul
because that is so SO exactly like Amara
and what led up to them finally snapping and deciding chaos and murder was the best option
even some of burning spices' lines here and there just hurt me so bad cuz it's something Amara would say or something very close to it
"nothing is forever. and yet...i am" - this line is both super terrifying and super depressing (i want to do a drawing with Amara with this line but still need to figure it out exactly lmao)
"the power of change is mine still...the power to end it all" - Amara has saved the world countless times before, and then they turn around to destruction instead
"nothing lasts forever. it's as simple as that" - definitely something they'd say in regards to anything
"destruction doesn't need a reason!" - some of Amara's targets were on purpose, but many of them were random/spur of the moment
"why, i, too, once had things i held dear" - .....fucking hell man, that just hurts asdf
"at some point, every living thing will see its demise. you are no exception" - Amara knows more than anyone that death comes for all
"i shall savor every moment as this realm crumbles before me" - 1000% Amara watching the snowy mountain guild building fall and watching the northern town get destroyed and all the innocent pokemon running away
also the "the grander the illusion, the more satisfying the collapse" works with the one above, watching both of those collapse was very satisfying to them
but the whole thing of like
being around for so long and watching everything live and die, rise and fall, over and over again, and starting to care less and less about it until something eventually snaps and they end up finding enjoyment in causing death and destruction

i honestly don't really understand why "some people prefer watching gameplay online rather than playing games themselves" is treated as such a taboo when being a spectator is considered a pretty mundane way to engage with most sports, game shows, reality tv or even just like. chess.

i've even been thinking about further ahead!!! with Nova and her girlfriends joining the lake guild and Lucia having a talk with Nova alone
making sure Nova understands just how exactly her father was seen by the normal town pokemon around the lake. they saw him as a horrible pokemon that "ruled" over the lake the same amount that Wynn did
but Lucia knows that's not how he really was and explains how she understands the kind of pokemon he really was/is. but she's the only one that does. she gets that Nova might not be happy about it, but it'd be in her best interest to not mention her father at all to the other guild members. or if she had to, just lie to them. some of the guild members and the town pokemon might not take the truth well
rumors could start, others might not trust Nova, etc
Nova is pretty pissed about it, but she knew it was going to happen, that she would have to lie about her father. both Amara and Veles warned her about it when she first expressed interest in joining the guild
so Nova agrees and she tells Lucia that at the very least, she's happy to know that Lucia, the current guild master, knows the truth. not just about who her father is, but also the truth that Veles is not and never was some heartless criminal
Lucia would never admit it, but she does have a soft spot for Nova. she keeps an eye on her more than the others to make sure she's doing ok. she feels more responsible than usual/compared to the other guild members, but does her best not to show it
it's not like Veles or Amara asked her to do that either, Lucia does it all on her own

not much lore for now, agave is the knight of a church in a terrestrial kingdom deep in an abyssal cave. very specific job description FHFJ she is really intimidating and deadly in battle, idk about their religion but it's probably (a) voluntary (b) just preaches like. be nice to each other and (c) probably preaches protect one another from the Evils In The Deep, with the holy knights being super admired and selective!
rhu is agave's little son and the only reason she smiles. the nuns take care of him in abyssal church daycare, and agave wants to make sure she's always there to see him even if she's busy 24/7. rhu loves his mom very much and doesn't resent her absence, just misses her when she's gone and gets really happy when she comes to see him
SPEEDPAINT BE UPON YE. this was by far THE HARDEST design i've ever created and a loooot of elements changed, even between this final and the final final (sobbing emoji)
