I swear tickles before sleep might be my favourite thing on the planet.

Like, sitting there with your partner all nuzzled under the covers with a movie playing in the background. Half awake mumbling and giggling together over mindless small talk when the tracing along the arm purposely becomes a little lighter. Subconsciously twitching, moving into their arms with a small whine of complaint that you don’t mean.

“What’s that?” As if they don’t know what THAT was, moving to trace featherlight patterns across your sides, ribs, and stomach. Too sleepy to fight back and try to hide the giggles spilling past your lips. If anything leaning into it.

Letting your partner whisper teases filled with love into your ear as you whimper and bury your face into their chest. Slowly nodding off as a giggling bundle of nerves…or being force awake by a sudden squeal from a drill of thumbs in your hips. Depends on the kind of night, ya know?

(Totally not thinking it’s a crime that I only see my partner on weekends while we’re both in university 🥲)
