This is an idea I've had for a while now, originally was going to have Tenna turn on his screen and show a birthday cake to Kris to blow the candles but I thought Asgore being the one to do it made more sense, Tenna still showed something on his screen though, so it's kinda like both did it XD I love, LOVE the idea of Tenna adopting some Asgore and Toriel mannerisms, so I made Asgore do a similar expression to Tenna's whispering sprite. Him having a little party hat too, I like the idea that Tenna is a bit of a character Asgore made up of the TV to play with both his children. I also gave younger Carol a slightly different haircut, I wanted to give her bangs that kinda look like a pine tree branch lol. So yeah, really wanted to give it a very nostalgic vibe, I myself really miss the birthdays or holidays we used to have in the family when I was little with all my cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents, now we don't really get together like that again for various reasons, cousins have their own families, left to live far away, some family members are not in good terms with each other and stuff.

when I was a kid I tried writing a story about a pegasus that hatched from an egg. a girl found it and brought it to her house, and the line that follows is now permanently stuck in my head. because the pegasus was brand new, right? just born? experiencing the world with pussy fresh eyes? so when it saw the windows of her house, it said "what the heck, it's as though transparent lakes have somehow been shaped into rectangles and firmed up to make the rectangles solid."

and after writing that line, I just shut down Microsoft word in disgust and walked away and did something else for a while. never touched that story again, because jesus christ.

i was gonna propose an asgore + rudy + carol polycule but it just occurred to me that rudy's probably fucking dead at the end of chapter 5 so like. now i'm imagining asgore and carol getting married after rudy dies and noelle being So Fucking Normal about the fact that asgore's her stepfather now. i think that'd be very funny, albeit in a deeply tragic way

My Mother's Life Depends on Your Kindness 💔

My mother is in Gaza, where every day is a struggle to survive. Some time ago, she was injured when shrapnel from nearby shelling struck her back. She tried to endure the pain for as long as she could, but now her condition has become critical.

She has now been admitted to the hospital, and her condition is very serious. She is suffering from unbearable back pain, extreme exhaustion, and every passing day brings more suffering. Watching my mother fight through this pain while I can do so little is heartbreaking.

The doctors told us that she urgently needs emergency back surgery. They warned us that the operation must be performed within the next 6 days to prevent her condition from deteriorating further.

The total cost of this life-saving surgery is $1,000.

Thanks to the incredible kindness of compassionate people, we have now raised $267 through our previous fundraising posts. We are deeply grateful to every person who has donated, shared our story, or kept my mother in their prayers.

That means we still need $441 from this appeal to complete the remaining amount needed for her surgery. We are getting closer, but time is running out, and every dollar brings my mother one step closer to the operation that could save her life.
