Question to anyone who's been selling stuff on Etsy recently. I have some unwanted stock that I don't have an audience for — would it be worth it to open an Etsy just for that? I don't have any desire of doing any marketing for it so the idea is that Etsy will do it for me. Or is that not a thing anymore

I’ve heard bad things about working with Etsy. But also who says you don’t have an audience for it? 👀 even if you feel like your audience isn’t the same as the stuff your selling, it’s fairly sizeable so I’m sure there’s some overlap with some people in it :))

Reminder. Pan doesn't equal bi.

If you tell someone a character is pan if they call them bi. Then their response is "they mean the same thing" or anything like that. They are being panphobic.

Only time a pan character is okay to be called bi, if they were confirmed to be bi too. Beyond that, they have no excuse and are just being panphobic to both pan characters, and pan people who identify as pan alone.

Pansexuality and Bisexuality, along with other less common but valid labels like Omnisexuality and Polysexuality, all have their own unique histories and reasons for being what they are. Each one of them exist for a purpose and a reason even if on the surface they may look to be similar or the same— the difference does matter to some people!

In some sense, it’s almost like saying that because both frogs and toads look similar and fill similar niches in their environment, then they must be the same animal! Of course that is not true, and fun fact for those who don’t know: all toads are frogs, but not all frogs are toads— toads are a specific classification of frog.

In a similar vein, I could say ‘all bisexuals are polysexuals, but not all polysexuals are bisexuals’ and the same could be said about pansexuality and thensome! While each of these labels may seem similar on the surface, they are each unique and specific and have an intimate meaning to those who use these labels. So when someone uses a specific label for themselves, then that is the label they use and it should be respected, even if you don’t understand why they aren’t using a different one!

For those curious, I was at Momocon 2026 in Atlanta Georgia this last weekend! It was a blast to see a lot of my dearest friends and experience some classic convention chaos (I’ve only been to one really small convention over a decade ago) so it was so much fun!

I got to see a LOT of awesome cosplays, cool booths in artist alley, and I even joined some workshops and learned how to do kandi crafts! Absolutely going to see if I can make tfc stuff with all the pony beads I have

It’s something I’ll definitely be attending next year— super excited to see where The Freak Circus is as a fandom then, I’ll be keeping my eyes out for any fan meetups and photoshoots! :D

We’re on our way home and I’m sad to go, but I’m energized to get started on projects again <3
