almost done w my first watch of Legend of Korra and am genuinely flabbergasted as to why people hate this show and Korra herself??? if you love the original show ATLA this is a great continuation of it and the changes that would have come with the world being united after the defeat of Ozai. Korra is obviously different to Aang but do you really just want a carbon copy that would end up being the Great Value version of him??? I love how firey (pun intended cause that girlie loves to use fire) and strong willed Korra is. She doesn’t really take anyones shit cause basically since she was a child she’s been told “YOURE THE AVATAR” so that’s gunna cause for a little bit of ego. I feel like the hate for Korra is coming from those just not understanding or taking into account her circumstances vs Aangs. She was raised and trained to be an avatar over years meanwhile Aang was honestly scared of it and had to speed rush his process. And i love Aang but idk something about Korra really stuck with me and I feel she gets too much hate.

32/61 - you are beautiful and kind as the world

truly the most beautiful endless friendship i have eever seen on screen. Anne and Sprig are true real best friends and watching them say goodbye forever breaks me. i have only seen the finale twice (when it originally aired and last year when i showed my bf the show) and i watch it basically every day, it’s a comfort show to me. So i have seen their friendship multiple times throughout their whole journey together.

Anne obviously goes on such a self discovery journey but her journey with friendship and how Sprig shows her what a true friend is it’s probably my favorite part of the show. Sprig is so lovable and kind and goofy but time and time again you see his never ending friendship with Anne prevail the toughest of circumstances.

probably one of my favorite moments in the whole show, s1 ep20 “Reunion” is when Anne is about to put her sword down because as Sasha says “they’re just slimey little frogs… they don’t matter” my baby boy Sprig slingshots mud into her face and says “for someone who’s Anne’s best friend you sure don’t know her very well, she’s brave and she’s smart and she’s NOT gunna be pushed around by a bully like you!” showing that no matter what he believes in Anne and knows she can believe in herself too.

and when he makes an action figure of Anne because she’s his hero🥺 genuinely thinking about the fact that they can never see each other is so devastating to me. i understand it and it makes sense with the show but wow is it upsetting!!

i was showing my bf the ending of star (i legit go to sleep w it on so he has basically seen every ep but the end hahaha) and genuinely this scene makes me cry every time i see it. i don’t love season 4 or the ending and what they did BUT i love star and i love marco so seeing them think they had to say goodbye forever😢

tyson is my favorite character in the pjo universe he makes me so happy he’s so sweet and kind and will still do anything for percy even when he’s not being shown the respect he deserves. daniel is absolutely killing it in this role (not shocking the casting for this show is immaculate) and he embodies the youthful spirit of tyson
