Introduction/Rules

Howdy howdy! Welcome to the official account for Starr's Avatar World! A VRChat avatar hub for anyone to yoink my models and use them as they please.

NOTICE:

Currently discontinued, will likely never update the world or avatars again. Thank you for your support and interest in my work, I initially made my public avatars for fun since I was starting out with 3D modeling and was a BIG VRChat player. I've had friends tell me they've seen my avis used in public sometimes and it motivated me to create as much as I could. 💞 I got burnt out towards the end, but I had fun creating my little corner of the internet and letting people express themselves with my artwork.

I don't use VRChat as much anymore, but I have avatar commissions open through Artistree, my newer avatars are a lot more up to date than my Splatoon ones!

I currently only create Splatoon and Undertale/Deltarune models, and personal more gifty type ones for my friends and family. All avatars are quest and pc compatible!

This account is going to showcase update logs, and has asks open for requests! You can ask for an avatar, or ask for your art to be displayed in a future update!

You an also let me know if theres an issue with the avatars this way as well!

My main account, on the other hand, is where you'll find all the renders and WIP screenshots. Only go there if you'd like updates on specific avatars.

Now that stuffs outta the way, I think its best I establish rules for if you DO plan on requesting models, or for your art to be shown. Any asks breaking these rules will be ignored or deleted immediately, with no exceptions.

• Obviously, no NSFW or violent suggestions. I think this is pretty clear.

• Don't spam my asks, please. You will be blocked lol.

• I'm only going to strive to make my models as canon as possible to the original source. Anything headcanony is a personalized gift for people close to me or for myself. Please only ask for the character themself because I wont do your headcanons.

• Do not force me to make avatars, this applies to the spamming rule as well. I'm still in school and I have other things to focus on outside of my models. Making one avatar can take me up to a week or two but trust me, planned avatars will be made eventually. It just takes a lot of patience.

I think that's everything I'd like to say. Anything else I missed should be obvious lol.

I look forward to seeing your art and model suggestions, and I'm stoked to make more avatars. 🩷

INDEFINITE HIATUS ❣️

Hello!! I already put hiatus in the name of the blog and the world description, but I wanted to make a post about it just so it doesn't go unsaid.

I will be taking a break from making new public avatars for an unknown amount of time, could be months, or a year, I'm not too sure yet.

It was a bit of a hassle to try and get seasonal updates out alongside some of other projects, but I wanted to pump out more avatars since people like and use them.

I will NEVER be privating my avatars or removing my avatar world, but it may take a while for me to make new ones. I appreciate everyone for checking out my models, I'd sometimes hear friends talk about seeing my avatars in public lobbies and it makes me really happy.

I hope to see you all in the virtual world again some other time! 💕 Thank you for your support!!

UPDATE 10/31/2024

Happy Halloween!! (for real this time) Splatoween Frye has been added to my avatar world, perfectly timed too, I thought I was gonna have to push it to November.

Not much else has been added, but regardless I hope you enjoy!

UPDATE 10/11/2024

HAPPPYY HALLLOWEEEN!!! (somewhat) This isn't that big of an update, but I wanted to get everything nice and spooky before we're too deep in October. I'll update it with more later on! Splatoween Shiver is out, but there's a problem with her hand gestures + her fan. I'm currently working on that so expect an update to her today! Enjoy! 🎃

UPDATE 9/21/2024

Starr's Avatar World has been updated for this month! 💗Heres a recap of all the changes.

BW Callie and Mettaton EX are in the world now!

The majority of my old avatars are fixed/revamped besides Off the Hook. Some already revamped avatars may get updated again for FBT compatibility.

New music as always.

Music toggles! (finally) You can stop the music or start it back up again in each section.

Added shelf in UTDT section.

New wall and floor textures!

Rearranged and recolored markers.

Thats all! I hope you enjoy this months update <3 Next update will hopefully be a Spooky one, I plan on making and uploading Splatoween variants for October so keep an eye out!

I figured it'd be best to let my blog know, that I will be slow producing avatars and art for an indefinite period because of my mental health and schoolwork. Both of which are taking a toll on me quite a bit. I keep stressing myself out by feeling obligated to make art everyday, which leads to me feeling guilt when I dont. And considering I am young, I really shouldn't be quite literally placing my own weight on my own shoulders. I know it isn't that big of a deal, and I dont have many followers, but since I have been gaining some I thought I should say how I've been doing, and what to expect so I dont disappoint anybody. I will update my avatar world this September, but again, things will be slow.

Also thinking about fixing/revamping the regular Pearl and Marina avatars before doing the Side Order ones. I want to add more expressions and toggles since they seemed kinda boring compared to my other models.

Whats next?

All three idol groups are out in my avatar world, and the majority of my avatars are fixed and uploaded. The only ones that arent are still Side Order Off the Hook, Acht, and Crossbones.

After those are complete, which shouldnt take too long, what do I have in mind for future avatars?

First off, I still need to work on Mettaton, since hes been sitting in my files for like a month now. And I also want to start making more alternative outfits for already existing avatars, examples being hypno Callie, kimono Marie, casual Callie, Pearl and Marina's OE fits, Squid Sisters Alterna fits, and so on.

Although we have Frye and Shiver, I still haven't made Big Man because I've never made an avatar thats non-humanoid. I'm also thinking about making retextures of certain funky, hard to model characters so they match my other avatars, and work on agent avatars and humanoid BG characters like Spyke or Annie.

So here's the updated checklist.

- Fix unfixed avatars. (CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS)

- Finish personal avatars.

- Mettaton.

- Maybe Muffet.

- Make alt outfit avatars.

- Retextures, retextures, retextures.

- Update world yet again.

I'll check some stuff off as I go, just so interested folks can come back and see what's been done.

! HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT !

Wanted to let all of u guys know that on July 17th/18th I'm going to fly out to visit family and be on a super cool awesome break for 3 weeks !!!!!

During this time, although I'll try to bring my laptop, do not count on seeing new avatars, art, or anything else.

I know it's been like a month since Project Peak has gotten another short, and it's been kinda slow with lore or art but I have plans for when I'm home such as working on the website (finally) and plenty of comic ideas.. 😼 (I also wanna update the style because that was like my first time making a comic and it looks horrendous)

I have some art that's saved in my laptop that I need to post, as well as the Mettaton avatar so I will still put out some stuff before I vacay

UPDATE 6/14/2024

Update time!! The Squid Sisters are now avaliable to use in my avatar world! Every avatar besides Side Order Pearl and Marina, Acht, and Crossbones is fixed, and new music and pens have been added. Sorry for the long wait! 🩷

Not an avatar submission but just a question. Are your avatars quest compatible or just for pcvr users? Because i was looking on your profile but couldn’t see if it said so anywhere.

They're cross-compatible for both quest and pc! I myself own a quest to play VRC and I would like my avatars to be accessible for everybody.

UPDATE - 4/27/2024

Side Order Pearl, Acht, and Crossbones are now in my avatar world!! The Undertale/Deltarune/Undertale AU room is open as well and has awesome music to go with it!

I added pens, fixed the Splatoon mirror clipping past its room, and put new music in the Splatoon room too. Smaller less important updates include: Toned down lights, New floor material, and shelves for my avatars as well as stairs for shorter avatars to reach.

I fumbled

So..er..I figured out why my avatars emotes dont loop!

Guess what the cause was! Take one hard guess! I didnt click loop animation in Unity. SO! Because of this unfortunate yet kinda awesome realization, I'm going to be reupdating my avatars so that the emotes actually loop and dont take ages to start. yayy...this is going to take decades...

And I'm also going to update some things on specific avatars such as Marina's ink color radial puppet not working properly and the view positions on some avatars causing some weird leg bending, plus other stuff that mainly focuses on the aesthetically pleasing side rather than the functionality side. Just personal preferences I'd like to change. I've been really busy recently, but since it's almost summer break for me, I have a lot planned ahead. Here's the current checklist so far: • Upload Side Order Pearl and Crossbones• Add pens and fix music in avatar world • Update avatar world• Start working on Callie, Marie, and Mettaton. (Maybe Muffet too) • Fix every, and I mean ALL avatars currently uploaded. • Revamp specific avatars• Upload Callie and Marie (could also be done before fixing the avatars) • Update avatar world again Dedf1sh has already been posted, but I'm not sure if you're able to find them via avatar search yet, since most of my avatars dont show up in those worlds for some reason. Sorry for yapping, just wanted to share whats going on in case anyone wants to know. Love you all!
