i really really really wanna regress and the one flipping time i Want to regress voluntarily i cant. this is so frustrating i dont wanna be big i hate this let me be tiny my dumb brain wont let me be tiny

little grace not liking heavy rain bc theres lighting and stuff and its loud and bright and he doeesnt like that!! he can block it outt usually by soome earphones and focusing rlly hard on his games but on the vat... thats a whole another story

none of the rooms dampen the sound as much as his bedroom did back home! he doesn't have his stuffies or his coloring books or his nice headphones and its loud and scary and the way the sea gets more rough and its nauseatinggg

Storms are pretty to look at but everything else about them suuuucks!!

In his apartment he had everything for bad storms, things that helped muffle the thunder and items that made the crackling of lightening a bit less scary!

But on the vat? Ooh it's yucky! Everything is amplified on sea, the ship rocks as the choppy waves clash against the ship, the roar of thunder echos in every room! So poor Grace can't escape it!

He tries so hard to be a brave big boy but he caaaan't! It's too much😭

And worst of all is how nauseous he is💔 his tummy is doing not fun flips ;^;

Ooh maybe he seaks out Stratt because she's really the only one he knows on the vat!! He miserably looks at her, tears welling in his eyes as he tries to explain but then a crack of lightening hits the water and makes a very loud noise! Poor Grace just starts crying because everything is so yucky and loud and he's NOT a brave boy, is a very scared boy whose tummy feels bad!!

Stratt is a bit confused (maybe it's before she fully knows he's a regressor) but, doesn't like seeing Grace so miserable/upset so she ushers him to her room. Once they're there, she grabs some anti-nausea medicine she keeps handy and sets Grace in her bed with her tablet playing some show (she picked at random) and sits with him ;w;

It doesn't magically make everything better but, the little guy feels safer and settled enough to ride out the storm♡

I know he's just mimicking the seals but 100% pretending that's just tiny Grace having a tantrum because he was told no more food paste (it's not lunch time yet)

sometimes age regression is pouting and wanting to scream and cry because all you want to do is sit outside in the sun and play with toys and color with your paci but you can't because you are in an adults body so doing that would be unsafe and that feels extremely unfair.

Just finished rewatching Iron Lung and I SWEAR when they were bringing Simon up the first time you could hear him softly mumbled "mom" when he was nervous/scared as he ascended

Which of course, has me definitely see him as a Mama's boy regressor aaa

Big Grace insisting that it's ridiculous that Stratt is ordering a leash for him for when he's little.

Cut to the next time Grace is regressed and Stratt has had to pull on the leash for tenth time to stop him running overboard.

Grace looks down at the package

Glaring as the little fox's stiched smile mocks him.

"Stratt, this is ridiculous."

Stratt doesn't even look up from her tablet, "you're an eloper, Grace. The moment you see something you run towards it," she explains, finally glancing up to see his scowl, "besides, you like foxes."

Grace huffs, "not the point and you know it," he sets it back down on the table, "you'll see, you'll realize you wasted your money."

Cut to the next day and Stratt has Grace wear the "backpack". The little guy doesn't even really realize he's wearing it, just taking Stratt's word that he was just simply giving his new fox friend a piggy-back ride.

Of course, Grace's eyes fall onto a pen that had probably fallen out of another scientist's pocket, now it was laying close to the edge of the ship's railing. And of course, he dives for it.

Stratt simply grips at the little handle, a gentle tug back to keep Grace from barreling into the others. Grace blinks, head tilting because he isn't moving?? He thought he was???

"Lets not take what's not ours, Grace," Stratt says as she stands beside him.

"Cause it would make them sad?"

"Because lord knows what germs are on it," Stratt corrects, "come, lets go back inside, before you bring us both into the water."

I like to think that Rocky makes sure Grace sleeps in his bed during the night cycle, but naps are a "wherever's coziest at the time" kinda deal. Which of course is usually snuggled up against the barrier.

Also he's 100% singing him an eridian lullaby. Grace needs lullabies to stay happy and healthy!!
