Now not only are you not human anymore but you have to go into work tomorrow but wait you can’t because you have to go outside in the day to go to work so you have to find a new job which is Night Shift only and work every night of your afterlife just to afford a shitty apartment with your Maker who’s also working overnight because guess what that generational wealth Alex got back in the 1700s didn’t turn out to be all that much with inflation and spending it all on parties and extravagant outfits in the previous centuries,

I mean, at least you don’t have to pay for food, but oh wait, everything is constantly on camera, so hunting’s gotta be near impossible. I mean, you can’t just find someone alone on the street at night because what if there’s a security cam across the street tracking traffic and it just saw you tackle them and drink all their blood and then what are you gonna do when the police come knocking tell them you’re a vampire that’s a ticket straight to the psych ward where you will probably have to go out in daylight and you can’t just kill them because they also have cameras the only way I can see this whole hunting thing working is if vampires didn’t show up on camera or do it consensually through Internet kink forums like “heyyyy anybody wanna get their blood sucked???🧛”
