Approaching the table, Chaemin tried to pick out Rhy’s scent through the chaos of smells a day in the restaurant usually caused. Once he got the first hint of bergamote he inhaled deeped, visibly relaxing and a fond smile making its way onto his face. In reaching distance of the other alpha, the blonde had to busy his hands before he reached out and touched him, a habit he had but one he knew wouldn’t be recieved well if his boss saw him.
Instead he readied his notepad and pen, tipping his head as he watched the other, content to just commit his details to memory again and again. “See anything you like?” Pointing his pen at the menu, Chaemin could feel his cheeks starting to strain from the smile on his face but made no attempt to stop it.
it was amazing that chaemin could work a whole day in the restaurant, without feeling the need to gag every five seconds. rhys barely walked in and he already felt the need to tell some people to fuck off. he would never understand the need of bathing yourself in perfume, when a few drops could work magic. but then again, humans did a lot of stupid things. sighing, he placed down the menu, looking around one more time, just to make sure the place was safe. ever since simon was killed, rhys has been on edge, knowing chaemin was working with maybe just the people who did that.
he felt the scent before he heard his steps and when chaemin stopped in front of him, rhysand grinned widely. ‘i’m not sure why you’re pointing there, when what i like is right in front of me,’ he said, head hanging on one side, a cheeky smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
