Today was absolutely lovely and much needed. My best friend, Nicki, her birthday is today. Our other bestie, me, and my kiddos went over to Nicki's sister's house for a pool day and we had such a great time. We are all pooped and some of us are a little burnt. Totally worth it though.

I see post that ask what the 90s smelled like. People are quick to respond with a Bath and Body Works reply..

The 90s to me wasn't just one scent. It was a whole damn mall. The mall me and my friends spent all day in. A time where my dad could give me $30 to eat and buy a new outfit.

That's what the 90s smells like to me.

That feeling when your little/ginormous poodle sister is at the groomer and things are peaceful.

I haven't had much energy today. Why? Not sure. It's a symptom of one of the things I'm diagnosed with.

So today I'm watching the England game and reading. I started a new book last night.

I am sure going to miss hanging out with this delightful goofball all day once I go back to work. 3 more weeks of summer vacation left.

Last Monday night I had a girls night with 2 of my oldest friends. Amazing how friendships can expand so long after grade school.
