Kirby, Kirby, Kirby! That’s a name you should know! Kirby, Kirby, Kirby! He’s the star of the show! ☾---☆---☾---☆---☾---☆---☾---☆---☾---☆---☾---☆ I opened this blog as an alternative to dump my written material and kirby brainrot galore in general ☾---☆---☾---☆---☾---☆---☾---☆---☾---☆---☾---☆ Blog dedicated to dump headcanons en masse. You can ask me too! No art, only khlav kalash. (The page works better on deskpot tumblr than the app)
I haven't been here in a long while, but that doesn't matter. I'm going to be brutally honest in here because can't deal with this anymore.
I created this blog since writing is not really what I use Deviantart for. Also I was beyond stagnated in there. (And you better believe I still am!)
Everything I publish has only fallen on deaf ears.
I feel (and have been made feel) like I am beneath interacting with anybody and the few people I have interacted with? They just don't feel the same, I can't bother then when we simply don't fuck with each other like that. So I stopped bothering.
(I'll take some time in here to profusely and sincerely apologize for anybody I could have been rude to. It was not my place and it certainly was not my intention. Believe me, I feel just as bad as I probably made you feel.)
It doesn't help that there is people who just have that spark and immense talent that I simply don't have and I might never achieve. It just died down gradually until I stopped posting altogether in here.
I just don't enjoy it anymore.
I could say just brush it off and say "I do it for myself" but that's 1. A lie 2. Cheap copium. Is not like I started making my stuff into "content" to only feed an audience, that was never my intention. Still, I rely HEAVILY on feedback, and the lack of it has made me remain stagnant and mediocre.
Maybe that's the way its supposed to be, some of us are not meant to accomplish great things (or things in general). But I refuse to force change and make this hobby into a chore. I have suffered because of this for way too damn long.
I still write, I still draw. But for how long will I keep fooling myself? That doesn't matter.
I'm not the only one with this predicament and I won't be the last one.
My time here, while relatively lonely and frustrating, I was always deeply grateful for it.
No, I won't delete, because these are important files of reference for me.
Perhaps I will find a way to bring comfort in this again (and within me), but in the meantime, it won't happen soon. I'm sad that it had to just... wind up being so bittersweet. But there was no other way.
And so here, stranger, I give my farewell. Thank you.
I love and hate when a character escalates to being a favorite, some headcanons just don't make sense.
The brainworms are fucking real. Lets take Bugzzy in this case, because, there is NO WAY a single character could share these two headcanons:
-He's a demon beast and used to be the most priced underground fighter/gladiator and the sercret executioner of N.M.E's headquarters. He was knocked down from his pedestal after his defeat at the hands of Kirby. He was promptly revived but came back "wrong" which only exacerbated his already messed up mental state and triggered the events that would lead to him escaping from the facilities and eventually, achieving his freedom.
But then...
-Being a wrestler means that gigs (real or performance) often lead to earning a lot of money. In Bugzzy's case, he is broke. He literally wasted all of his money on horse race bets, he ended up homeless and stuff, but he couldn't care less, it is what it is.
Nightmare is Meta knights ‘dad’/creator is probably one of my favourite theories because-
There’s genuine stuff pointing to it and-
One would have to consider that in whatever magic wizard test tube/method he was created, Nightmare made the conscious decision to make Meta knight just look like that.
Also because using the KRBAY story, this suggests Nightmare sent him out to infiltrate the GSAs ranks or something- only for his creation to find a legendary sword and proceed to try and beat him to death with it.
[EDIT 26/9/24: Updated version because I just keep making mistakes and outdating hcs just because]
I added two new characters to this chart because I feel ashamed to say that I have forgotten about the absolute powerhouses that Drawcia and Claycia are.
Drawcia’s powers warp and bend the very fabric of reality, the physics and environment of said worlds into her picture-perfect vision of what she feels it should be. She is powerful enough to be capable of doing this flesh and bone beings (turning the whole world into a painting PLUS! Turning Kirby into a ball). She also creates her own meta-worlds aside from the ones she manipulates.
While forgettable, I see myself in the obligation to remind people that Claycia literally created her own corner of the galaxy. She molded and built Seventopia from scratch. Her prowess is almost on par to what Void was responsible for. We don’t see characters altering space and creating some form of life unless they are on a very god/god-adjacent level of power (Void Termina, NOVA, Necrodeus, and Zero/Zero Two).
I'm usually the one to talk about woobification/flanderization when the topic arises, I can say that I will never be fully exempt from committing these sins. I'm can be hypocritical (like any human) but not a pharisee.
However, while I retch at the rampant woobification of Meta Knight, I can attest that: I'm unable to see him not feeling depressed in some way of another. What I mean is that I feel that he could have some form of depression.
Yes, he might be a ballsy egomaniac with violent tendencies, but I am a firm believer that he might be overcompensating, too. This guy must have been through so much in all of his lifetime; scarred and traumatized by certain events. I don't see a lot of happy things happening in said life story; but that would be entering in the terrain of non-canon material.
Now, at least, that's how I see it, I'm not saying that he's weak. He's NOT. But he is not fine, for sure.
He's probably the type of guy to say that he likes the movie Tusk because "I find it relatable" so nonchalantly, so casually, it makes others grimace and go silent out of sheer concern.
He probably attempted to take his own life once and thought about doing it many other times.
He makes inhuman efforts to internalize and bottle all of that up in order to pull himself together. Of course, it eventually seeps through the cracks and comes out to the surface in unhealthy ways (violence, micromanaging, indifference, etc.).
Things have been going really well for him now that he made peace with (almost) everybody he knows. He's getting to experience the tranquility that he never knew from those previous years of mental distress. He's a tough legendary warrior who comes victorious out of the craziest situations because he knows that he has been through way worse than that.
And yet, just ever so often, he finds himself telling anybody who asks him how he is doing by talking about the nice things this very day has offered for him... While internally wishing he was dead.
I don't know why, but I feel like, deep in my soul, that The Squeaks would 100% ride one of those shitty lowriders (yes, specially one that bounces and shit)
#im confused by the y axis chart but that's alright
@phantomgrape nah dw I had to make it make sense in my head the next day since I made the draft after being hit by an epiphany in the middle of drifting to sleep lol
But I'll explain:
So basically, the creation and not-creation part relates to what or who made them or if they are an inherent element that doesn't pretain to anything or anybody.
Lets take two characters as examples, NOVA and Void Termina, since they are the most digestible examples of this board:
NOVA and the NOVA race were created by The Ancients originally to be used as a warrior race and their comets were their war machines, but this eventually just remained as vestiges from what their original purpose was.
"But aren't they primary wishgranters?" The NOVA race in general was made to be almighty, while their main purpose used to be of defenders, they also were messengers of The Ancients and helpers of the lower worlds, they were venerated as gods by the mortals due to their immense powers. (Think of the whole of Titans/Ancients preceeding the Olympian Gods/NOVAs from greek mythology)
Void Termina is more of a manifestation an embodiment of a concept rather something that was brought into this world by third parties. As such, he represents the very concept of chaos and creation. Something formless that ended up being shaped by those who wanted to grant it a certain body (Hyness and the sisters wishing for him to be the ultimate destroyer of worlds).
Void's existance is inherent to the environment of the cosmos, and serves to be just as powerful as a big bang, a universal resetter.
#it's kinda funny that most of the creations that are capable of creating themselves tend to be villians #i wonder if that says anything
@phantomgrape You aren't exactly wrong, is getting there! However, and I haven't dropped the biggest bomb yet: These are STILL wildly innacurate. They are an oversimplified demonstration of a bigger, more convoluted explanations of several headcanons. Because yes, the headaches have just begun.
Hope you don't mind the wall of text (and the constant brain twisters):
We don't know for sure if Zero could even be considered a creation in the traditional sense of the word, he literally created himself by sheer willpower, there was no known intervention that could have begotten him. But also, we can say that Void was his creator since he created all space and cosmo known to man, yes, including the initially inert dark matter. He is a paradox in all senses of the word. Who made who?
Then we got Nightmare, who is a personification of... well, NIGHTMARES! Nobody directly aided in his creation, but certainly, bad dreams indirectly did. He is similar in origin to a tulpa created by the collective (in)conscience and doted him with autonomy and all of his malevolence.
Dark Mind, to me, is the most complicated case to reasonate and give an explanation for. He sticks like a sore thumb to me because, even though a lot of these entities share a similar predicament, they don't evoke the same level of mystery and vagueness that Dark Mind does. It bothers me, So. Much, to the point that I even made a post talking about how frustrated this issue makes me feel.
Leaving that aside, if I had to put a finger on where his origins could be centered, we can say that, the often mystical view about mirrors and the quantic science that dictates the possible existence of a mirror world, could have given him a leeway to be born, but as we know of the kirbyverse: This can't be the only reason.
Previous to his arrival to the Mirror Dimension, since, as we know, he is not native to said place. Maybe there was a stray fragment of rotten heart matter that came through the Mirror Dimension and managed to absorb and replicate its properties and, as if that wasn't enough, it was given a body. And the rest is history.
Kracko is another one that I have been building a post about his lore as of lately. The genesis of "his" life has been rather grim (not saying why "his" is in quotation marks, since its a spoiler to said post), the inanimate body of the very clouds he personifies was just a carcass to the real prowess of his previous incarnations and himself. It cradles the deliverance and vengeance embodied in a single God of Thunder.
Yes, he was not created in base on his element but rather, like NOVA, on the offerings and pleads of the people that were in need of a superior force. The cloud motif was never the main part of the equation, but now its just an undeniable aspect of him.
Necrodeus, as obvious, is the personification and harbinger of death, controller of underworld and punisher of the heretics. He appears to have emerged around the same time organic life came into the picture. His work as the God of Death is not only about controlling the death toll and seek for those who are coming at the end of their destiny, he can revive and warp the very concept of life around him.
Dark Nebula, is most cetainly on a similar boat as Dark Mind. Probably a strange amalgamation of dark and soul matter, previously thought unstable, and unable to live his life normally as a result of this.
Morpho is certainly one of THE most complicated and special cases there is. The very figure of the butterfly knight represents an enigma that not even the godly figures of the universe known can seem to solve. The answer simply escapes to their understanding. Morpho seems to have appeared out of thin air; no major motivations or reasons beyond spreading judgment. Of neutral allignment and often responds to both NOVA and Necrodeus. Can act a sort of distorted concept of a guardian angel or a revenant.
Those are the basics of Morpho, but even then, this doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. The very existence of said being is simply too complex to explain properly. Even worse how we don't know much about this presence.

Pink mark means "absolute yes". Yellow means "ackshually".
(The lack of pink makes me think that my gijinkas are either boring af or I have a cast of snowflakes. I kinda hope its the latter.)
Explanations under the cut:
-Some animal friends do hold their animal traits onto their design. Kine has a mermaid tail, Coo and Pitch have wings. Chuchu, Nago and Rick are the most normal looking ones.
-To me, Patchland isn't composed of yarn only, is composed of a lot of fuzzy and general crafting materials. In this case, I image Fluff's hair being made of felt wool.
-Morpho's garnments are very much just robes after robes (layers) and a hood. The clothing was kinda based off Zasalamel from the Soul Calibur series (Example: 1 and 2)
-Taranza has 6 other magical hands, is just a bunch of magic controlled gloves. And I forget to draw them every time.
-A lot of them have said trait! Gooey, Francisca, Zero Two, Galacta, Kine, Mine, Drawcia, Dark mind, etc.
-Honestly, I see SO. MANY Gooey designs in those clothes that I think it has become old news. My design started out having a big ass blue sweater, then he went onto having a more pseudo-Y2K look with layered clothing (like this) and lately, he changed it onto a more grunge-y clothing with darker clothing as a way to indicate that he is ok with the fact that he is a dark matter.
-While I have never viewed Marx as an amputee, he had his wings for arms on his soul form since he lost them after being brutalized by Kirby. One would think that being previously split in half by the same guy would be enough insult to injury.
-See point 4
-Dedede is not the only fat character, I have many overweight/fat/strong fat characters, actually: Shadow Dedede, Dedede, Meta Knight (but differently. I'll explain later), Kirby himself, Gooey, Pick, Pitch's mom, Chef Kawasaki, Claycia, Sir Nonsurat and the Wham Bam brothers, etc.
-Galacta is tall but just barely taller than Kirby, and Kirby is already 5'10 (178cm)
-Dedede can grow a beard, but he prefers a clean, shaven look. Shadow Dedede, on the other hand, has a big and messy beard. (I really gotta to draw Dedede with a beard some day)
-Meta Knight's mask does cover his entire face. However, the problem is not the mask, but rather the fact that the vast majority of swords(wo)men have helmets and idk how to implement it.
-OFC he has! Why would I out-Kirby the Kirby?
-Mf is 5'5 lol (165cm) (I have no right to laugh because I am the same height)
-I'm more deliberate about clothing and accessories than I am about feautures but I do got a bunch of brown characters: Taranza, Paintra, Vividria, Plugg, Jammerjab, Flamberge, Hyness, Void Termina, Coo, Burning Leo, Simirror, Bio Spark, Dyna Blade, Wham Bam Rock and great part of the Whispy family (I mean, they are wooden golems but they are coded as being brown), etc.
-See the aforementioned answer.
-They are very similar to their very counterparts, but not quite the same. For instance, lets remark the differences between the three of the Star Quartet:
Shadow Kirby and Kirby are of the same weight and height. But Shadow Kirby has a "worn" image, with ill-fitting clothes, a sallow, dull skin and a crooked nose; in comparison to Kirby's more fashionable clothing, bright and colorful complexion and a nicely pointed nose.
Shadow Dedede and Dedede, same height and weight. Shadow Dedede looks far more grimy and neglected, his clothes are dirty and ripped, his hair is long and matted, his beard too and looks deathly pale. Dedede has far nicer clothes, his hair is trimmed and soft, and while he's white, he has a nice tanned complexion.
Dark Meta Knight has the most differences with his counterpart. Both have the same height, but while Meta Knight is heavy like lead, DMK feels lighter and even "fake", like a cardboard cutout (and yeah, all mirror inhabitants are like this but they feel way more authentic in comparison to DMK). His cothes seem longer and "cheaper" than MK's they are also heavily ripped. He has gross and messy haircut, an unsaturated complexion (not dull, is the same color as MK's, just looks like it went through a photo filter). Oh, and he has some seriously nasty, yellow-y teeth. Meta Knight, on the other hand, has far nicer clothes, his haircut mis not the best but he tries, has a nice olive skintone, and his teeth are decent.
-Susie is largely organic but I guess the metal rods to correct her scoliosis (because yes, her gijinka form has scoliosis) do count??
-Meta Knight has flat shoes but I suppose I do see DMK wearing some form of heel (not stilettos just modestly elevated)
-Usually, and for what I noticed is that is the main representative(s) of certain species that have elf ears while the rest of the species don't: Zero has elf ears but the rest of the dark matters don't. Queen Ripple has elf ears but her fairies don't. Kracko has somewhat pointed ears but his subjects and Kracko Jr. don't have them. Other miscelaneous long eared fellows are: NOVA, Void Termina, Queen Sectonia (in her "wasp" form), Sir Dragato, Burning Leo, Marx, Claycia, Dyna Blade and Magolor.
-He looks "younger" to his real age, but not by much.
-Some Dees use a mask either for allergy season or as lately, a fashion statement.
-Dedede wears boots
-Initially they had a more similar uniform among each other, Flamberge was always the exception. Now their uniforms reflect their personality more!
-Sectonia's dress is a bit baroque and stuff BUT NOT QUITE! Is most definetly a lot more revealing than that!
