My headcanon regarding Galactic Nova has always been that he's advanced, but he is still a machine. You gotta be real specific with your wish, otherwise you run the risk of the wish being misinterpreted.

You want to control Popstar? Okay, but like how do you want to do that. Do you want power? Do you want everyone to be more susceptible to manipulation? Do you want Popstar to be in little pieces, so you can control it that way? Uhhhh uhhhh here Marx, here's some of my own power. That power should allow you to do what you want. Uhhh lets ram into Popstar too, to be safe.

You want to be able to move around of your own free will? Well that's very vague. Do you want an organic body? Do you want rides that can carry you? Do you want to be a giant death machine? Uhhhh screw it let's just do all of the above. One of those gotta fulfill your wish Zorah. Why aren't you happy Zorah? Surely the wish is fulfilled- hey why is my internal wiring damaged.

Funny backstory : this was NOT, and I mean NOT meant to be a full on colored shaded drawing when I drew that before I saw your request so I was just kind of…ballin around with the shapes and everything till I concluded that Nova is the literal definition of “draw a circle, draw the rest of the fucking Mona Lisa”. This is why some lines or shapes look messy lmao. I was too proud of the result to make another one since last time I drew nova it looked like HELL (I remember I was too embarrassed I Ligit deleted the project file now it’s lost media I’m afraid :(.)

Nonetheless they’re REALLY fun to draw lol :D some could play around with parts and add theirs to their Nova (like Zooble). Maybe someday if I practice enough to be able to draw them without references I’d draw them interacting with your Nova as well? I love her she can be such a sweetheart 🥹🥹

My opinions on the new lore of Nova on Kirby Air riders has been pretty much the same,idk why the first thought is that "it did harm, so its 100% evil" when like,is a machine that brings wishes ,is a neutral force.

I personally had the theory why the events of the game happened is because Nova sees the true wish that you have deep down,what you really mean

gotta say Sakurai and the kirby developers need to stop dropping lore outside of the games and,you know,actually adding it so we can understand what is going on even if are just small hints bruh but here goes my yap:

Marx wanted power but deep down he wanted to fully destroy dreamland or at least thats what he wanted to do with Pop Star with said power,Nova sees this and makes it in the most literal way,going to colide with Pop Star ,meawhile Meta Knight,who made the wish of fighting thw strongest warrior of the galaxy was granted by EXACTLY as it is,no other ulterior motive inside MK head,his wish was pure and 100% honest.

So now the new hinted lore that an evil force manipulated Noir's wish,if we have to choose an candidate it would probably be the fountain of dreams and nightmare himself,considering how oddly specific Nova constructed Gigantes and more with the knowledge anime version of Nightmare was also Sakurai's full show of how he visions all him and the rest of the characters

And if we remember that Nightmare usually creates gigant machines/monsters/etc it really wouldn't be a suprise that HE was responsible,after all if he is sealed on the fountain and he is still powerfull he could still manipulate other things,perhaps the wish of Noir.....

My other personally theory with what i talked about Nova is that it was Zorah/Noir herself who did it.

Not because she WANTED to hurt people,but because that inner jelaousy spoke

After all,knowing everyone being so free and you been stuck for probably millions of years would had made her jelaous,yes she wanted to be free but the intrusive thought maybe could be that she wanted to be the only one who could move and have a life while everyone can know what it is being in her state ,motionless like a machine and even if Noir never meant it,Nova doesn't care,is a machine without feelings ,it only fullfills its function and THATS IT.

In any case,that would had give Noir enough will,after all if it was caused by her or nightmare her wish brought demise sadly and that what gave her enough will to fix all the disaster...
