Meanwhile, Balan, having said goodbye to his new pal, was scavenging through one of the old office buildings, trying to see if there was anything of interest in there.

@sdoprcubhmms-lil-hideout the gal was wandering the wasteland of ice and snow and nuclear ash of the core collapse, she was taking it cautiously and sticking close to outpost-3…she traveled in a line through the abandoned city.

As she was wandering, Balan stood atop the building he had made his home in.

He took a deep breath despite his lack of lungs, and bites down on his arm to muffle his pained screams as his wings popped out of his back, tearing through the metal of his body as oil dripped to the ground. Releasing his arm from his mouth, he grimaced at the feeling.

“owwwww…”

The gal knew she heard something, but she didn’t know what yet, she looked up and decided to investigate despite her inner turmoil, she was still a care unit after all, her heel feet’s inner working hydraulic springs and pistons prepping her before she launches upwards, launching herself to the top of a nearby building and landing onto it

“Where did that come from?” She said as she scanned the area

Balan’s wings twitch, his audio sensors picking her up from pretty far away.

“Ohhh goshhhh...”

He panicked, not exactly sure if this mystery person is here to cause problems or not. Was this the person stalking him? After working up his courage, he decided to take a risk.

“U-Uhm, over- OVER HERE!” He called out.

he heard the hiss of springs and pistons now as she jumped surprisingly gracefully over from building to building, then finally ending up at his spot

"well..um hi there?"

as he gazed upon the dd-esque drone before him, he was able to clearly make out the differences though from a typical model...her feet weren't that of your typical male or female disassembler, they were full on heels, granted more supportive then actual heels due to being the feet but heels none the less, her placement of her warning stickers were oddly on the middle of the lower part of the arm, and they were purple, her eyes on her visor and head band aswell were of a purple coloration, even the tips of her hair were dyed the same purple. and seemingly the most obvious part...she had a more "human accurate" female chest from what he could see in the front. her tail also eventually revealed itself, it was...not a stinger, but rather looked like it could shoot out the nanite acid like a blaster

Balan’s lil poncho swayed, as he stood in a pool of his own oil. “H-Hi…?” He chuckled nervously, fidgeting with his hands.

“I’m- I’m Balan. Nice…Nice to meet ya!”

"oh well um, I'm SD-Oprcubhmm, Oil Providing and Replenishing Care Unit with Basic Human Mind Mapping! but uh, you can also call me Op or oppy or O"

as she fully collected herself, she swapped a hand to a....repair tool of sorts? it seemed have the a container of regeneration fluid that was used for healing and such, with a nozzle at the end

"do you need some repairs?"

“Uh, n-no, I’m alright! It’ll heal pretty quickly.” Balan rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling nervously as his tail flicked behind him.

“Is…is there something you need?” He asks, tilting his head.

"maybe just a moment to relax eheh" she said shyly

"if you don't mind me joining you that is"

“oh..? n-no, I’d actually love to.”

Balan said quietly. His luck has really turned around, huh? He’s met three people who don’t think he’s a freak in the span of what, a week?

she gently sat down next to him as he said that, softly sighing and thankful that she found another someone once more to talk with, in her mind this was also a score...it's nice to still be able to keep making friends, despite her shy tendencies

"well thank you for anything um" her voice trailed off for a sec "you...uh...can ask some questions about me if you wanna"

"well kinda yeah" she said as she thought about it "as my name's combo of words points out....I was made by jcjennson to act as a way to...tame disassembly drones and be able to give out a supply the oil...higher ups made the design. itself and the scientists and engineers in cabin fever let me customize the color choice to be associated with me at least"

she gave a soft smile

Balan looked puzzled at the words ‘JcJenson’ or ‘Cabin Fever’, though at the same time he had an expression of mild Deja Vu. He quickly brushed it off.

“oh, that’s actually really cool. All I have is this ‘solver’ thingie.”

"ah solver..." she debates internally if she should show off the cross...decided against it for now

"it's powerful is what I know for sure" despite her previous interactions with solver, she was still a human just now in drone software, her mind sometimes still fully comprehend what solver could do at times

she chilled out for a moment, enjoying the stars and sky

Balan looked up with her, staring at the stars with a sense of childlike wonder.

“No matter how many times I look at them, they’re always so beautiful…”

"agree with you on that for sure, stars are a wonderful thing to see, they make it quite the view" she said with such soft and gentleness

The gal knew she heard something, but she didn’t know what yet, she looked up and decided to investigate despite her inner turmoil, she was still a care unit after all, her heel feet’s inner working hydraulic springs and pistons prepping her before she launches upwards, launching herself to the top of a nearby building and landing onto it

“Where did that come from?” She said as she scanned the area

Balan’s wings twitch, his audio sensors picking her up from pretty far away.

“Ohhh goshhhh...”

He panicked, not exactly sure if this mystery person is here to cause problems or not. Was this the person stalking him? After working up his courage, he decided to take a risk.

“U-Uhm, over- OVER HERE!” He called out.

he heard the hiss of springs and pistons now as she jumped surprisingly gracefully over from building to building, then finally ending up at his spot

"well..um hi there?"

as he gazed upon the dd-esque drone before him, he was able to clearly make out the differences though from a typical model...her feet weren't that of your typical male or female disassembler, they were full on heels, granted more supportive then actual heels due to being the feet but heels none the less, her placement of her warning stickers were oddly on the middle of the lower part of the arm, and they were purple, her eyes on her visor and head band aswell were of a purple coloration, even the tips of her hair were dyed the same purple. and seemingly the most obvious part...she had a more "human accurate" female chest from what he could see in the front. her tail also eventually revealed itself, it was...not a stinger, but rather looked like it could shoot out the nanite acid like a blaster

Balan’s lil poncho swayed, as he stood in a pool of his own oil. “H-Hi…?” He chuckled nervously, fidgeting with his hands.

“I’m- I’m Balan. Nice…Nice to meet ya!”

as she fully collected herself, she swapped a hand to a....repair tool of sorts? it seemed have the a container of regeneration fluid that was used for healing and such, with a nozzle at the end

"do you need some repairs?"

“Uh, n-no, I’m alright! It’ll heal pretty quickly.” Balan rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling nervously as his tail flicked behind him.

“Is…is there something you need?” He asks, tilting his head.

"maybe just a moment to relax eheh" she said shyly

"if you don't mind me joining you that is"

“oh..? n-no, I’d actually love to.”

Balan said quietly. His luck has really turned around, huh? He’s met three people who don’t think he’s a freak in the span of what, a week?

As she was wandering, Balan stood atop the building he had made his home in.

He took a deep breath despite his lack of lungs, and bites down on his arm to muffle his pained screams as his wings popped out of his back, tearing through the metal of his body as oil dripped to the ground. Releasing his arm from his mouth, he grimaced at the feeling.
