“... Boy, no one told you, huh? Tyson’s in a coma and Boomer’s still recovering in the hospital after surgery.”

“Most of the... IAC is out of commission after that whole radio ruckus...”

“Ow ow ow--!”

“Hold still! I’m almost done!”

Orion hissed, tensing up as Jade applied the gel-like substance to his back, before wrapping it back up again. 

“That’s a nasty scar you got on your back there. I remember when you got that.”

“Don’t remind me,” Orion groaned, faceplanting onto the mattress. Jade chuckled, shaking her head and wrapping the boy’s leg up again. 

“There,” she said, wiping her hands. “All done!”

Taking a hold of the hand that reached out and now interwined squished. Her greetings were strange and unique sometimes. Touch left his side long time ago.

“It’s okay buddy… I’II do my best to help you. “

“T-Thanks... U-Um, I’ll try to be the best guy I can! Eheh... S-Sorry, I’m just a bit shy.”

“….. You’re just asking for it.” He glared at Orion. “If you get at least one inch close to her, or even lay a single touch on her, you’re dead!”

 Agent 7 quickly makes his escape by tossing a splat bomb, turning around and running the other direction.

“Just try me,” Orion growls. When the splat bomb clatters to the ground, Orion jumps in front of his friend to protect her. He hisses as the ink splatters his back, turning and glaring in the direction the other inkling had run.

Jade frowns, wrapping an arm around Orion, helping him walk home.

Agent 7 backs away, having one N-zap at Orion and one N-zap at the jade inkling.

“Now, now…. Turn around and leave. This is none of your business.”

“it becomes my business when you hurt my friend!”

Jade lifts her gold dynamo roller high above her head, threatening the other. Orion is clutching his gun tightly.

“You can’t make her love you,” Orion says firmly, narrowing his eyes.

“….Suit yourself.”

Agent 7 aims his weapon lower and fires at Orion’s leg. He gives an ominous grin.

“Hurts doesn’t it?”

He kneeled down to retrieve his other N-zap and get back up. He is back using two N-zaps again.

“…Sometimes I question whether my relationship with her. But then again jealousy in romance is another way of saying it’s fight over the person you love the most.”

He... wasn’t expecting him to actually shoot. Orion stumbles back, hissing at the pain. Just then, a jade colored Inkling comes whirling around the corner, slamming her golden dynamo roller between the two. For such a petite Inkling, she sure was strong.

“Now what the heck is going on here?!” She turns to the stranger, narrowing her eyes. “Messing with one of my men, eh?! I oughta squish you for that!”

Orion jumps to the side, but refuses to fire back. Even when he gets splattered with the ink a bit, and it starts burning.

“Why would Marie want to date someone who obsesses over her? Don’t you think it’s ridiculous that you’re trying to make her love you? What about what she wants, huh? Go on. Shoot me all you want. Splat me, if you dare. That’ll just make you a murderer.”

Agnet 7 snaps from what he just said, gets out of cover glaring. His eyes sort of dark red.

“You…….. you shut your mouth!” He throws one of his N-Zaps to the ground. He keeps the other gun pointed at Orion. “I…..”

"I what?"

Orion spreads his arms out.

"You're gonna kill someone who swore to protect this city? Over a girl? Cmon, buddy. Step back. Think about it. You're being irrational."

Footsteps were approaching fast. Orion listened closely, then gave the other a sharp toothed grin.

"Back down now, or else my friend will hurt ya. I can hear them coming. You don't wanna get on our bad side."

“I… Um… I-I do love her. Not some little crush. I-I wanna make her happy… I wanna protect her and keep her safe and happy. I-I would never wish to break her heart…”

A sigh escaped her lips against the others words. He did seem quite innocent at heart and perhaps timid-like due to stutters heard for not even one minute but sometimes looks can be deceiving. Hopefully this boy play the white card of lies in secret.

“I’II put my trust in you. Sorry if I seem like a complete beach at the moment… It’s just my job of being her sister.”

Orion visibly relaxes, then offers his hand.

"My name's Orion. Sorry for not introducing myself first."

(Yandere!Agent7) "YoustayawayfromMarieyouhearme!?!" Agent 7 cracks his knuckles.

“W-Woah, bro! I-I don’t want any trouble! Y-You can’t tell me who I need to stay away from!”

Orion steps back, reaching for his Splash-O-Matic on his belt.

Agent 7 takes out his two custom N-zaps, Nautilus Grey and Nautilus Gray. He points the dual pistols at him.

“Don’t…even…. try.”

“L-Look! I don’t want trouble, but if you’re gonna be like that...”

Orion pulls out his gun, pointing it at the other.

“Come at me, bro!”

“W-Well she’s super fresh and I love how sassy she is. Not afraid to tell it as it is. I like that! She’s so bold a-and pretty and... and...”

Orion trails off, a sudden feeling of dread coming over him. He seems to shrink down, stepping away from Callie, almost looking like a puppy who knows he’s in trouble.

..Well. Now she almost felt bad. A bit snobbish, even. She should have just politely introduced herself like any other squid. Oh well..

“Ah.. nah, don’t worry about it kid. Sorry for sounding rude. Like that.” She tried to recover herself from her words. Dangit, Marie! Now you just made the other guy feel weird. 

“It’s quite an honor to me you too Orion, seriously, I don’t know much squiddos out there who’d keep a celeb’s wallet.” She laughed a bit, before holding out her hand to greet the other Inkling. “..And a very cute squiddo at that.”

Orion felt his cheeks warm up as a blush came to his face. He took her hand, smiling a bit goofily.

“C-Cute? O-Oh goodness, t-thank you. I-I mean, you’re way cuter! Ah--”

Oh Cod what was he saying. He squeaked, burying his face in his hands, squeaking out an apology.

Orion fidgets a bit nervously, silently cursing his stupid nervous stutter. A blue blush is starting to spread across his cheeks, too. His legs were threatening to give out. Cod, he was so nervous.
