So… Satoru Gojo’s birth chart, anyone?

Normally I’d keep my hyperfixations to myself and close friends — but I kinda wanna see people’s opinion on this!

Been super into astrology for years but never delved in as deep as now. Also been super into jjk (especially Gojo, clearly) and one night worked out a birth chart for him for funsies 🌙

To my knowledge, Gojo’s birth time isn’t explicitly said in neither the manga nor anime. Do let me know otherwise. Although his birthday info is definitely known. Without giving myself a headache thinking hard about the logistics on how far apart certain planets can be from each other, I whipped together a quick wheel. Promise I fix it later lol. Apologies for the sloppy work but hope it gets the point across: see chart #1 image

Then to briefly explain the 1st

I could totally see him as a Sag rising! And to be totally honest the main reason it came to mind was his LONG ass legs. Many Sag rising people I’ve met usually do have longer legs or at least prominent enough that it’s one of the first things standing out to you (think of that one sketch Gege made of gojo towering over the clouds with ridiculously tall legs lol).

We know he’s a Sag Sun too, so it being in his first house could mean he very much identifies himself the same way others perceive him. Born to lead but not in a bossy sorts way. More so having the right qualities making him quite confident in his skills.

The Moon and Venus in Aquarius was really because of canon Satoru unable to hold a relationship. There’s a lot of translation interpretations of this, but personally I believe in the “too busy with work + perhaps avoidant attachment issues” belief. I could’ve seen him internalizing feelings and instead of feeling them might tend to find logic. Humor being a dismissive coping mechanism. Also seems like the kind to prioritize friendship > romance and in a partner seek a best friend alike.

Mars in Scorpio to me are capable of holding secret long grudges or borderline obsessive tendencies. Not sure if he necessarily held a grudge against Geto, for example. But he definitely saw it as a betrayal and all those years apart weren’t without replaying the fall out and maybe how he could’ve prevented it.

A Jupiter in Leo simply because he certainly thrives off attention. Not necessarily bad! He’s also very much well known and the Leo in his hypothetical 9th house gives luck to travels + ethics/beliefs he stands for + constant seeking of knowledge.

Just to point out a few…

But I wasn’t completely satisfied yet. So my next step was quite literally taking an estimate guess of his birth time. He gave me early morning baby energy. “The Strongest” born in the early hours just made sense. His arrival canonically caused a shift in the world! My best guess then is the time being something almost devine. 5:55am aka “555” representing change and massive shifts.

Using two of my fav astrology sites [astrocafe & astrodienst], I applied the newly given birth time and the rest of his birthday info. Again, apologies for the sloppy work but next to the quick wheel is a more coherent table: see chart #2 and #3 images

I was actually quite happy with the results! I wasn’t 100% accurate but my hypothesis on him being a Sag rising seemed pretty solid. His Mercury in Sagittarius also stayed consistent. Saturn in Capricorn + North Node in Aquarius as well. Mars + Pluto in Scorpio also held up. Now I could break down his chart with these placements to see if they were mostly on point.

Explanation/breakdown of “accurate” chart for Gojo Satoru

He is a Sagittarius through and through. Rising + Sun + Mercury. He was a born rebel made to lead the future generation (his students). He makes strong impressions, unsurprisingly. His aura is just FELT. Often life of the party, teasing nature, big on personal freedom, mischievous, easily adaptable etc.

Initially I placed Saturn planet in Capricorn, 2nd house, for two reasons; the harsh planet in Cap would set him up for much bittersweet obstacles in life and disappointment, guiding him towards a mature mindset. Behind his goofy exterior that doesn’t seem to take life too seriously, is a man who KNOWS struggle, KNOWS how bad the world can really be if unprepared to handle the curveballs. However, he gathers experience from it all. Turns it into lessons he can foresee later and do better. His moral compass undergoing great change after a particularly hard lesson (coughhiddeninventoryarccough). Secondly, he does well for himself financially but probably a lot coming from his old-money rich Clan. Not overspending and budgeting well would not be his biggest strength I think.

Neptune and Uranus in Cap didn’t surprise me too much really. Coming back to financial irresponsibility, Neptune in 2nd house Capricorn adds onto it. His Uranus here challenges traditional norms (especially status wise, likely eager to distance from the Gojo clan bc of it), which he does a lot. But also may overestimate their own power and abilities.

His Venus in Capricorn did initially surprise me a bit though. But going back and rereading up on Venus Capricorn, I can see some similarities to his character. Caution in love, probably used to “loneliness” because of his wary, almost shy way of expressing true feelings for another. Because WHEN he is committed, he all in and needs it reciprocated. Venus in 2nd house could probably indicate gift-giving as his top or at least more noticeable love language.

Next, moon in Pisces. Complete opposite of my guess tbh. But with more insight into the placement it makes sense. The 4th house of this placement could mean he was meant to follow in familiar footsteps, in this case the heir of the Gojo clan. However, the tendency to seek the “perfect” home or place as sanctuary/escapism could lead to unnecessary traveling, only adding to the unrest of what does not exist. Making time for himself though to recharge is healthy in doses. As long as he’s not chasing an idealized version of escape. Artistic expression could help too, having natural talents for singing/drawing/playing instruments, and so on…

I could probably tie his Pluto and Lilith in Scorpio (12 house) together. The Pluto here makes him very passionate and vulnerable to unexpected betrayals. He could acknowledge this and make him extra cautious of people close to him. This leads to attachment issues (Lilith) and uncomfortable with intimacy. Has a lot of self-acceptance to do. Very aware of his almost possessive or jealous nature he could try suppressing a lot. High sex appeal though, desirable and kinky too lol…
