𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟒: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞
The final round! Prince Aemond Targaryen vs. Ser Veron Dayne... who will be our victor?
The stands were louder with cheer than ever before for the final round of the tournament. The crowd was at the edge of their seats to see who would be crowned champion of the Crownlands Challenge tournament! Some cheered for their own Prince Aemond of King’s Landing, while others, locals and visitors alike, rooted for the visiting Ser Veron Dayne. @vixxiesims @stars-trash-18
Without further ado, the two men rounded the list and began to head for the other.
Prince Aemond put on his most fearsome face, determined to remind Ser Veron who was in charge. He knew he had this tournament in the palm of his hand, and would soon face his city in the stands and greet them as their champion.
Ser Veron focused on his aim and positioning, knowing that this final moment would make all the difference in his winning or losing the tilt. He reminded himself why he had taken on this challenge, the honor he sought, and all the training he’d completed.
The horses jumped into a charge, and the men steadied their aim-
They headed toward one another at full speed. The crowd fell to a hush, thick with anticipation.
At the impact of Ser Veron’s lance against his chest, Prince Aemond Targaryen fell to the ground. The crowd gasped; somewhere from the King’s Pavilion could be heard the screams of a handful of royal and noble ladies.
His lance fell from his hands, and his horse cantered away from the turmoil.
Ser Veron was the winner of the Crownlands Challenge jousting tournament! His horse reared up in celebration.
Ser Veron basked in the crowd’s cheers, all cheering in admiration and locked in awe of their instantly beloved victor.
He posed for his victor’s portrait, and felt the pride of the sun soak into his knight’s soul.
