Personality: Sakura is a girl who often feels the need to shift her personality in order to be liked. Outwardly, to her peers, she's a friendly and almost perfect-seeming honor student who can do no wrong. She feels the need to uphold this image due to the fact that she's such a popular idol, especially online, and doesn't want to break the version of her everybody sees in their heads. Deep down, she's a lot more simple, and honest, and this more blunt version of herself can be seen through small cracks she lets form around her friends. She still has a hard time trusting others though, worried they might be disappointed if they realize she's not as perfect as she let on.

Personality: Akane exemplifies everything dark in her personality. She loves anything and everything related to witchcraft and gothic culture, to the point of obsession. Much like Third-Year Kamiko Oshiro, she comes off as a completely delusional villian wannabe who uses strange RPG-like dialogue in an attempt to sound intimidating and mysterious. She's much less experienced however, and come often come off flustered and awkward when delivering her lines. Deep down, all she wants is friends. She is deeply grateful for the ones she has, even if she has a hard time openly expressing it.

Personality: Mei is a person who can be hard to read. On the surface, she has an affable and agreeable personality, and is decently easy to talk to. However, she can occasionally come off as stilted and awkward due to not having many friends her whole life, but she's trying her best. She's very attached to Sakura, to the point of almost seeming a little clingy and possessive. She's not a violet or harmful person by any means, she just keeps the people she trusts most close to the chest, and is very protective of them.

Personality: Emiyo is often described as a crybaby, quickly being brought to tears over the smallest things. Shes usually in need of lots of comfort, which her friends (especially Sachio) are more than willing to provide. She has a lot of worries, and insecurities, and some days it's hard to even get her to want to be in the unit. Despite this, she still perseveres through everything and tries her best. She often found herself a victim of bullying in the past and now has a bit of an inferiority complex because of it, but her close friends are always there to remind her of how valued she is in her worst moments of despair.

Personality: Sachio is an extremely excitable girl who's absolutely bursting at the seams with energy. Much like a small child on a sugar high, she's usually jumping all over the place with joy and fervor, smiling widely and jumping up and down. She loves cats and includes cat-like quirks in her speech and mannerisms, to the point of being described as a cat trapped in a humans body. Sachio is also incredibly friendly, often having tons of kindness to spare and then some, even to people who don't really like her back. She also talks so fast that sometimes people don't really understand what she's saying.

Personality: Bunko is a fierce and confident girl who's always active, always moving and always trying to lift the mood of her comrades. She's upbeat and charismatic, if not a little stupid from time to time. She loves to exercise and stay in shape, and often prides herself on the concept of self improvement. She also is very good at many different sports and her room if full of awards from different victories over the years. She's always trying to help others, even when it's at her own expense. Bunko'd do anything for her friends. She's particularly protective of her younger sister, Kotomi.

Personality: Chinami is a kind and gentle girl who has endured a lot. From a young age she was afflicted wirh an illness so bad she was stuck in the hospital for several months. She would often cry in fear that she was going to die. Since those days, her health has gotten considerably better, and every day she goes on light jogs with her freind Bunko to slowly build her strength back up. She hates being treated like she's weak, and has a lot of pent-up frustration inside of her she only ever lets out occasionally.

Personality: Hikaru is an energetic and outgoing girl who loves socializing and having fun. The dead and complete opposite to her twin sister Hikari, she's optimistic and always does her best to cheer on the people around her, being a source of light for them. She’s always willing to listen to other people’s problems and is sometimes much too eager to help them solve said problems. Hikaru seems to be carrying some kind of guilt on her back that she won’t open up about. Hikaru likes to see other people smile and always wants that to be true, so she smiles all the time in the hopes people will follow her example.

Personality: Mariko is incredibly smart but easily annoyed. With extremely high grades and high expectations for her future, Mariko can often seen being irritable and unfriendly. She doesn’t often smile, and gets flustered easily when dealing with anything that’s bothering her. Mariko doesn’t like to admit to having emotions, often doing and living her life according to a logical, repetitive routine. She often is the one to drag Kazue away from her swarms of fangirls and actually force her to do what she needs to be doing.

Personality: Flirtatious, dramatic and affectionate, Star Shine Academy’s Kazue Yumehara is often hailed as “the Prince of the School. Everywhere she goes, swarms of fangirls follow close behind. She revels in the praise, often referring to the fangirls as her ‘precious darlings’. Kazue can also be described as egotistical, sometimes letting all the attention go to her head. She upholds a theatrical manner of speaking that can charm almost anybody, with people remarking “it’s almost there’s a backdrop of sparkles and light that follows her everywhere she goes”. Despite her skills as an exemplary idol and charismatic public-speaker, Kazue doesn’t have many skills outside of those.

Personality: Yurei is often described as someone who isn’t all there. Some say its like her body is present but her soul is somewhere else. She rarely emotes or shows emotions on her face, and can sometimes forget information she’s been told only a minute after she’s heard it. It’s incredibly hard for her to focus, so she just chooses not to. Yurei can be seen sleeping in class most days, not even bothering to pay attention to what’s going on. Despite this constant out-of-focusness she can be really observant when she puts her mind to it, often good at reading what people’s true intentions are. Additionally, Yurei never any reason for lying or keeping her thoughts hidden, since she just doesn’t see the point in it.

Personality: Maho is an energetic and positive girl who loves to do extravagant magic tricks. She loves to perform, make people happy and then disappear in a cloud of dust. She’ll get extremely offended if someone says her tricks are fake, stating that they must not have any fun in their hearts. Maho’s reason for becoming an idol was to make people smile, and fill their “lives with magic” as she put it. She often hides her true intentions or feelings though, not always saying what she really feels. Maho also loves children, and visits a Children’s Hospital every weekend so she can do magic tricks for them. She enjoys cute and sparkly things.

Personality: Kamiko is a dark and mysterious person with chuunibyou tendencies. Claiming to be an immortal vampire who sucks the blood of her victims, Kamiko has an intimidating and strange aura about her. Most would keep their distance from her, but her close friends know her as an ambitious, strong leader and an overall friendly person. Although, while she is exceedingly nice to her fellow unit members, she tries to scare off everybody else and is merciless when it comes to competition. Kamiko is not a selfish person however, and while she does put up a villainous facade, underneath she’s a genuinely good person. Additionally, she often speaks as if trying to imitate the antagonist in a fantasy RPG, making it hard to get what she’s saying sometimes.

Personality: Kotomi is an anxious and insecure girl who leans on others for support. While she wants to become more confident, she doesn’t exactly know how. She also has a more honest, cynical side which she begins to reveal after one has moved past her shy exterior. Kotomi, surprisingly, has a tendency to be more scathing than Haruna when it comes down to it. She often looks exasperated by the events going on around her. While usually closed off, Kotomi’s close friends and family are usually the ones to see the strength inside her.

Personality: Naomi is a mischievous and often insensitive girl who will insult others only to say she was joking right after. Her most noticeable trait is her ability to read other people. Naomi is so incredibly good at seeing through the walls people put up it makes others wonder if she somehow has a psychic ability. Naomi will often tease others with deadly accuracy due to the fact that she can see through their exteriors so well. She does genuinely care about her friends, but often comes off selfish and uncaring due to her natural tendency to act offputting and conniving.

Personality: Haruna is a haughty and narcissistic rich girl who often flaunts her status in front of others. She also tends to assert her own wealth by flaunting fancy and expensive things, to mixed reception. While some are in awe of her wealth, the ones she respects the most (her ‘sworn rivals’) are usually the type of not care much about Haruna’s economic and social status. This disregard for her status more often than not leaves Haruna feeling distraught and embarrassed, almost comically so. Deep down Haruna is more lonely and desperate than she ever wants to admit.
