☆ Na'vi King Sukuna x Fem Avatar Reader ☆
•°~♡☆♡☆♡☆♡☆♡~°•
You were a scientist, an expert in the field of biology more specifically cloning and cell division. You had managed to defy the laws of nature, creating what some may call an abomination. The first Avatar. It was unrefined, and still a baby but nonetheless you had succeeded in creating an imitation Na'vi, making the unexplored world of Pandora safely traverseable for humanity.
Not long after you succeeded in making yourself a fully compatible Avatar, it was easiest to sync your experiment with your own biology and when the outcome ended in success the news was delivered to the whole of the Recourse Development Administration (RDA). Soon enough you were being called out for an expedition to Pandora, with you being the only one capable of connecting to your avatar it was imperative that you tested it to ensure everything was in working order.

The blades of the helicopter you were seated in blared loudly from above, your sensitive pointed ears instinctively pushing back against your head to lessen the noise. "Sorry Doc, we don't have any ear defenders suited to aliens" Your escort snickers while eyeing you with skepticism as he stands just next to the open door, it seems your allies have already begun to treat you differently.
For this task your Avatar body (which your conscious was currently residing in) and your real body needed to be present, as the avatar technology is not fully advanced if you die within your avatar, you die for real. So as a precaution your human body has been transported along with you in a cryopod, along with a technician, a pilot and two armed soldiers meant to act as body guards.
"Its fine.." you reply "Ride will be over soon anywa-" Your sentence is cut off by your own startled gasp as the helicopter suddenly jolts to the side, the armed escort losing his footing and falling off the side of the vehicle. "Cr-crap!" The technician shouts as she hurries to hold onto something, the cryopod holding your human body. "Wait dont!-" you yell reaching your free hand out to deter the technician, however its too late, the sudden movement of her grasp dislodges the cryopod and causes both it and the technician to be flung out the door.
You grimace at the thought of the cryopod breaking and pray silently that its protective plating is enough to prevent your body from any damage, However you have no time left to lament the loss of your body as the helicopter finally loses the battle against gravity and plumbets into the lush jungle below.

Sukuna rests idly upon his thrown crafted from roots and saplings, fingers twitching restlessly as he scans the clearing before him, behind him loomed the heart of Eywa, an impossibly large bioluminescent tree which guarded and watched over sukunas village. And infront of him were his people, all sitting in neat rows circled around the king and Eywa as they awaited to be given their tasks for the day. Some Na'vi had consistent jobs, like guards or hunters, while the others who were less skilled in battle were given new tasks each day such as gathering fruits, Recourses or even making the scarce clothing/ jewelry the Na'vi liked to decorate themselves with.
The king however, did whatever he pleased. And today he was feeling restless, an urge to scout the perimeter of the forest his people reside in. And so he accompanied a hunting party, spear in hand as he trudges towards the back of the group. As time passed the hunters acquired more animal corpses to be taken back to the village, each body given a prayer in thanks for the sustenance they will provide. However the person at the front of the party suddenly paused in their tracks, causing everyone behind them to suddenly come to a halt too, with Sukuna nearly walking straight into the person before him.
"What is the meaning of this?" He bellows, his deep voice effortlessly carrying authority. When the Na'vi don't reply he pushes past them, his broad and muscular frame pushing them aside before he too comes to a halt. "Sky people?" The king questions without meaning to, the Na'vi behind him peaking their heads out from behind his body to observe from a distance.
Before them lies your cryopod, scratched from its earlier impact with the ground but still working to keep your frail human body alive nonetheless. "We should kill it before it wakes!" The youngest of the hunting party exclaimed "no, we need to erase its existence from Eywa. We should burn it" another says.
"Quiet"
The king commands as he crouches down to examine the large glass container, pressing one of his four burly hands against the glass, he has half a mind to shatter it right here and now, leaving you to suffocate in an unknown land. However another thought passes through sukunas mind before a sinister smirk cuts across his features, he stands and turns towards his subjects to deliver his final command.
"Carry this back to the village"

You awake with a groan pushing yourself up and away from the mossy ground beneath you, your first instinct is to look at your surroundings but you only see forest and the occasional movement of glowing spores, however after a few moments you eventually spot the wreckage of the helicopter. Your next choice is to dash towards it, checking to see if the remaining soldier and pilot are okay however the soldier is no where to be found. As you cautiously peer into the cockpit you catch a glimpse of the pilot, his mask still intact as he breaths shallow, aching breathes. You sigh in relief feeling comforted by the fact he's still breathing, you climb over the wreckage, pieces of glass cutting into your skin as you reach over and attempt to shake him awake.
"Hey!" You whisper yell "come on! We don't have much-" a whistling sound wisps past your head, a cracking sound follows shortly after as your brain struggles to keep up with your eyes and ears. The pilot, your last chance at escaping Pandora had just been impaled through the skull by an arrow. "Don't move" a deep voice reverberates from your side, about ten feet away stands and impossibly tall Na'vi man, with four arms and two faces directing his bow and arrow directly between your furrowed brows. You freeze immediately, body angled at an unfortunate position your torso is leant inside the window of the wrecked cockpit, making it impossible to run.
Sukuna steps closer, coming to stand behind you where he is no longer in your field of vision causing your elongated ears to fall back in fear as your tail subconsciously flicks. "Stand straight, and keep your hands visible" he commands once again, but this time you don't react as you cannot understand his words, before you had simply froze from the fear of a weapon being directed at you, but now that you are unable to see him you haven't the slightest clue what he wants. This time its Sukunas tail that flicks in anger "hey- stand up" he repeats and by some miracle you are able to infer what he wants from the tone of his voice alone, cautiously you turn your head first your fearfull expression immediately catching the burning gaze of his four narrowed eyes, next you turn your body to face him slowly while holding your hands up for him to see.
Sukunas nose visibly scrunches at the sight of your four fingered hands, however that isn't the only detailed that strikes him as abnormal as your clothes are that of sky people, only now they are tattered and torn from your rough landing. "What is wrong with you?" He asks with venom coating his tongue although he of all people should understand what its like to be an anomaly. You flinch at his tone but struggle to understand anything, your only reply being a meek "i can't understand you" this was apparently the final clue Sukuna needed to connect you to the sleeping sky person his hunting party had found earlier.

In a split second your wrist is tightly bound by Sukunas large paw and being tugged forward as he quickly makes his way through the forest, over fallen logs and under low hanging branches. At first you gasped but as you were dragged along further and further away from the wreckage you begin to voice your complaints, not caring weather he can understand then or not. "Hey! Let go of me- I haven't done anything wrong to you or your stupid forest!" your grimace as you attempt to tug your hand out of his vice like grip. "Heeeyyyy!-" You jump in surprise as the Na'vi man quickly turns to face you, a glare in his eyes as he holds a finger over his mouth in a shushing motion. Sukuna scoffs as you immediately quiet down, both of you mentally taking note that you understood the hand signal.
Eventually structures come into view, some are built into the trees and some are low, built into the side of a cliff for support. And in the middle stands a large glowing tree, you take a moment to marvel at the sight, jaw dropping and ears perking up at the beautiful sight before you.
Out of the corner of your eyes you catch movement, a tail flicking behind a wood hut and then you hear a hiss coming from your right, before you know it your being dragged before an empty thrown and a village worths of Na'vi are gathering to marvel at the anomaly brought before them by their king.
He stands before his people, wrist still tightly bound around yours as he holds it high above his head, making it so you toes barely reach the ground. You groan in discomfort but he ignores it, instead choosing to address his subjects in that same booming voice "A human bares our stolen skin" you can't understand his words but the disgusted growls and hisses coming from the crowd of Na'vi are enough to set you on edge.
You half expect the Na'vi man to slaughter you right at that second, however he let's his arm fall to his side and with it your wrist. You watch attentively as he calls out a name and from the crowd a slightly shorter than average Na'vi emerges, with a straight shoulder length bob cut. "My lord" they bow towards the king and await his demand as the crowd behind them begins to disperse, "translate what she says" he replies with a flick of his wrist, standing so closely behind you that you can feel his body heat. Uraume nods and returns to your, their stare sending shivers down your spine "Hello, my name is Uraume" they say simply with an accent you haven't heard anywhere before, your eyes widen in shock as you stutter to reply with a greeting of your own "H-hello.."
And so the questioning began with Sukuna saying something in the Na'vi tongue and Uraume echoing his words in English, "what are you doing here?" They ask and you try to reply with simple words "Transporting something important" you mutter, suddenly remembering your body is yet to be secured and missing the way Sukunas jaw clenches. "What is your name?" You reply with the truth again, flinching slightly as you hear Sukuna repeat it as his accent is noticeably much thicker than Uraumes. You glance up at him on multiple occasions and each time you notice that his eyes are already focused on you, daring you to try and run, you watch as his lips move to form another question for uraume to translate "where did you get your skin?" The question makes you falter for a second but you quickly steal your nerves and look Uraume in the eye as you give you answer "I made this body." Uraumes eyes widen ever so slightly, most likely in horror as they then repeat your words to the king, he sneers. "So you think your a god?"
You shake your head in disagreement, familiar with the question as it had often haunted you back at the RDA as your comrades would question the ethics of creating life just to use it as a second skin.
"I am no god, I am simply alive"
