A WIP (RE)INTRODUCTION: JACKDAW

GENRE: new adult, superhero fantasy 

SETTING: various fictional locations around britain, i.e small towns, sprawling cities, and rolling green hills. 

SYNOPSIS: he was just trying to get home. thrust in-between hero and villain, CALLISTO CONWAY’s world gets turned upside down in a matter of a single touch over the course of a night. a late introduction to a prestigious training facility, and the forced dependancy on micro celebrity and boy-wonder FELIX FAIRCHILD marks a surprising second chance at life, but he swears in-between all of this, there’s someone in the dark, watching him...

MAIN CHARACTERS:

[ID: two portraits of the same two men, this time in white dress shirts and navy blue blazers with golden deer pins hooked into the collar. there’s a cloudy blue background reminiscent of old school photo day backgrounds. /end ID]

FELIX FAIRCHILD (the star & the crown) 

is licking his wounds. After the run in with Grimaldi, his pride was grazed, and even worse, there’s someone running around with Jackdaw powers that aren’t him. Guiding a stranger the ins and outs of his power was burdensome, but the real kicker was having to keep it (mostly) a secret from his family.

CALLISTO CONWAY (the moon & the conduit) 

is finding it hard to adapt as the newest addition to Deerfoot Academy. After suddenly moving cross-country, he spends half his time trying to figure out how to manoeuvre around the institute and the other trying not to piss off the one link he has to understanding what exactly is wrong with him.

finally a quick & concise wip intro for my beloved jackdaw!!! now i'm getting more into drawing, i'm really enjoying my return to this series ^_^

hiiiii i made a new blog and will probably not be updating this unless on the very very very small chance i proceed w/ my original writing.

unfortunately xiv grabbed my heart and refused to let go SO! i’ll be over there for the foreseeable future. plz expect art, writing, and general interests, but who can say!! maybe i’ll post more original stuff over there!! i just cba to wipe this blog / would prefer a fresh start lmfao

i do not like to ask for help hardly but we got a storm here which damaged our entire basement and it’s never been this bad for us since all our time living here or for the city in general. this is the worst rainfall we’ve gotten since 1910 in a night so it’s serious. we have to replace all our appliances (washer, dryer, fridge) and other things we lost that was essential. our home insurance and the sewer & water companies hardly gives us reimbursement ever when these occurrences happen. if you can donate a little, that would be so helpful to me and my family. thank you and please boost this if you are able to ❤️

it’s the barest bones but i think i might find it a little easier to write than jackdaw… which isn’t to say jackdaw is particularly hard source material but the issue is swimming team drama (new wip) versus superpowered academy student drama (jackdaw)… IM GOING FOR A SWIM!!

White writers CAN and SHOULD feature people of color in their WIPs, but narratives of color (aka, stories where our cultures and experiences are at the forefront) are not yours to write.

Support people of color writing about their experiences. Boost our voices. What we have to say about our lives will always be more valuable than whatever research you've done.
