Three years ago, I remember putting on a show in the background for noise as I worked on an English assignment… …it came into my life meaning to be just background noise but instead has made a tremendous impact on my life.

That show turns three today 🎉

It holds a special place near and dear to my heart as the more I watched it and the more my expectations were proven wrong I wanted to continue with what this show had to it. It’s unlike anything I had ever watched before and I just fell instantly in love with it. I can’t stop thinking about the characters and the story and the could have been’s this show has.

I love the community of fans this show has brought together to unite as we share are lil thoughts about our fun lil ghost show, there’s so much creativity here and it’s amazing to be apart of and see, seeing so many talented individuals apart of this fandom is so cool! It’s impacted my writing journey as it helps me practice my writing skills whenever I do write for it. I think it says something that with the fandom creations made, a lot of it is just adding onto preexisting information or continuing on from canon and not necessarily “fixing” canon like most fandoms have most often in them.

Jatp is three and it will always stand tall in the hearts of fantoms!!!

That is the like worst part about the whole thing, like this cast is so down to go back and do it together again and the way that like, with all their interviews and like behind the scenes clips and everything you can just tell that like they had such fun and they’re more than like co-workers like everyone on that cast is genuine friends and it’s just- ugh it’s so devastating.

Like they were posting about each other on their socials long before they “needed” to like it just- 😭

I always think about it as like a “haha! Just bc you cancelled us isn’t gonna stop it from being talked about. thinking about how in Edge of Great, Luke wanted to get Julie’s attention and he definitely could’ve started singing with her but instead he was like “nah let my girl shine” and played the guitar riff I still am mad wasn’t on the soundtrack that complemented Julie’s voice so beautifully

Agreed. But I kinda love singing the guitar part whenever it comes up on my playlist. Loudly... like I will hush the people in my van to do do do.

What I love too about that part is Luke’s thought process, “I’m not gonna sing with her bc that hasn’t worked thus far and also it would steal her moment… imma sing with my guitar at her tho 👀” and hey I mean it does work to give the boy credit.

I also like that, they make you know that Nick saw that moment too and every time I see that I’m just thinking about how he’s probably seeing the eyes Juke have been making to each other throughout the whole of Edge of Great but then when Luke does the riff he’s probably thinking “…wait a minute tho 👀 she into guitarists 👀” which made him think he still has a chance with her even though he knows already that she does like Luke he’s probably like “…imma just ask her out just in case”

…I also like the idea bc knowing Nick, he’d probably compliment Julie on Luke’s playing with like “Can you let your guitarist know that that riff he played was amazing!” And I just imagine Luke is present to hear Nick say that but he wants to tease him like how he did before when Nick was at her locker but Nick just continues like explaining how what Luke did made it look really simple but since he also plays guitar he knows how complicated it was in reality and she’s just lucky to have a great guitarist like that

i wanna know what Ray was thinking during that moment. i mean, cmon, every single person there saw the heart eyes, but what was ray thinking when this guitarist that he hadn’t ever met before was making eyes at his daughter?

i like to think that he definitely tells rose that julie’s got a type for artists in any way or form like rose did. and he’d subtly ask about the boy who sang with julie, and she would be all flustered, and alex and reggie would endlessly tease the two of them since they’re right there, just not visible to anyone except julie.

ray would also definitely attempt a shovel talk when eventually luke becomes 90% solid, but he would be wayyyyy too excited to welcome luke in the family and would just give up halfway

I always just think about it as like… bc since Carlos knows about the boys now (he was also there for Edge of Great which means he saw that too 👀) I just imagine he like called Luke “Julie’s boyfriend” and just only refers to him as that he knows not to mention it in front of Ray like Julie and Carlos at least have that understanding but like “hey you two were making eyes at each other, you two like each other he is your boyfriend then” and she does get like wary of Carlos referring to Luke as that when he’s in the room so she gives him a look like “don’t you dare call him that bc he is in this room 👁️😡” and if Luke does hear Carlos call him that Julie just covers it up like “…oh ya know it’s just… my little brother being a little brother heh heh 😅”

And then it’s like once Ray knows about the boys Carlos accidentally refers to Luke as “Julie’s boyfriend” on total accident not meaning to do it when Ray’s in the room but I just imagine Julie just gets so wide eyed as Carlos realizes his error and then they just both look at Ray and Ray just goes “now Carlos, if your sister wants to tell us about her relationship she can” and Julie admittedly denies that her and Luke are a thing and Ray is like “…Really?” …I just feel like Juke gives off like to everyone else besides them they’re a thing bc I mean just look at them- it’s more of like a it’s bound to happen eventually for them to be together even though to them they’re not technically a thing but everyone around them is like “nah you guys are a thing bc I mean 👀👀👀”

I just imagine Ray being like sort of chill about Juke and also he’s like excited too bc it’s his daughter’s first relationship and the boy she’s with could be better bc in Ray’s eyes all three of those boys brought his little girl back from her not being able to do anything music related and like he said “they’re angels” in his eyes and I just imagine he can hear the two of them writing songs together too and he just gets this smile on his face bc he can just tell how much those two care about each other.

…I also just feel like Ray would tell Julie “I mean I trust your interest in the ones you like. Like that Nick kid, what a nice boy he is, he’s a keeper but also Luke you might have hit the jackpot with that one.”
