(I just had a thought and wanted to share. Somewhat related to orv. It is discussed in outer gods' arc.

Motivational words, I hope.)

Every story is there for a reason.

Yes, some are more legendary and bigger than others. Some are brighter no matter how short while others slow paced and without major developments. Some are tragic while others delightful.

A lot of small stories revolve around the giant stories (celebs and leaders and 'successful' events) gain inspiration from it.

But, I think they are not worthless or insignificant due to existance of someone, something better out there. No story needs justification for existing.

Story, person or living being or a small movement, is written because it was fate, meant to happen. You never know when a single sentence in yours makes a legend somewhere else.

Learn to be content that your blood and tears wrote something on canvas of the universe as well.

Be happy, drink coffee, eat favourite food, sing or dance to that song stuck in your head, smile while looking at a painting or stars. Just enjoy the rain and kiss of a lover, laugh with friends, family. Because even that happiness adds on to your story.

Hell, cry if you want, shout out your grievances, lie down on your bed while being sad. Your story needs time to be expressed regardless. You deserve it.

You are the only one who can put a full stop at the end. Or continue writing.

JUST LOVE YOUR PRECIOUS STORY.

I thought reading a novel would help me understand wtf going in Hynjae's head and why, but now I'm even more confused. I guess I should use Occam's razor principle and settle with the idea that he's just bored as hell. So, every of his decisions is made by the crazy snail whispering in his ear.

i think that the most beautiful thing about hjyj is that they are simultaneously bringers of chaos in each other's lives, yet also each other's anchors, a place of stability that the other can rely on.

for sung hyunjae, han yoojin is a confounding factor, a change in his monotonous daily routine, and for someone who feels as though days seem to repeat themselves over and over again and is constantly looking for "interesting" things just to feel something -- a sense of excitement perhaps or maybe even a reason to live.

at first, it was a passing interest. han yoojin is an interesting person -- that much is obvious for everyone to see. he's an f-class hunter, yet has so many cards hidden up his sleeves. he's somebody who treats s-classes as equals instead of how others usually view them -- fearsome and untamable beasts who have unimaginable power. he's somebody who doesn't cower in the face of danger, but rushes towards it instead like a moth to a flame -- all for the sake of protecting those who are dear to him despite being so weak.

for han yoojin, sung hyunjae is someone who has it all -- looks, money, power, strength. he's somebody who seems as though he was born amazing, a person who has never failed ever in his life. he's somebody who has the power to do anything he wants and the ability to deal with the repercussions. he's somebody who has never had to bow down to anyone his entire life, as if he was destined to live his life with his head raised high, never looking back nor even sparing a glance to those inferior to him. he's somebody who has the strength to protect what's dear to him, unlike han yoojin.

you could simply leave their relationship at that, but the development and the progression of their relationship throughout the entire story makes it all the more interesting.

there's something so romantic about a relationship based on benefits slowly turning into something sweeter and the awkwardness that ensues afterwards. because amidst the chaos, despite their rocky beginning, despite the ups and downs, despite everything they've been through, they've somehow become so important to each other.

it's two people learning how to rely on each other -- to see themselves not as items or skills, not as extensions of others, but as humans. it's two people learning how to love themselves and their own humanity through loving each other. it's two people who have no one to depend on, yet managed to find a safe space within each other. it's two people who are reluctant to accept affection and care from somebody else, both of which they've never been the recipient of. it's two people who are used to being the givers, yet flounder so helplessly at the prospect of taking -- of being loved -- because being the giver gives them control over the relationship and the concept of forfeiting it is unfamiliar and uncomfortable to the both of them.

it's just *gestures to whatever the hell is going on with the two of them* them.

in addition to the fact that people just have different natural rhythms, a big reason why we can’t seem to go to bed as early as we “should” is that nighttime is, for many of us, our safest and most fulfilling time of day. we don’t have to work, we won’t be contacted by bosses or insurance companies or collection agencies or other suffocating life business… we’re likely only to be contacted by our friends, or by no one at all. night time is release; it’s ours. we can rest or recreate. we can do things we actually want to do. who would choose to cut that short?? just to usher in the next morning when our lives are not our own again? nighttime is precious and nothing could be more normal than the desire to embrace this
