You know what, I want to talk about Light Fury and why I like her.
To begin with, she looks adorable. Her beautiful white scales, sky-blue eyes, neat fins and wings, as if she were a semi-aquatic species (a small fish :3), striped patterns that are visible in the light, four small ears instead of eight.
She looks like a weasel to me. Just look at her.
Light fury is as graceful and elegant as a cat.
She fascinates me with her looks alone, and I haven't started talking about her character yet.
Speaking of the character. I'll name a few moments for which I irrevocably fell in love with her:
1) When she first met Toothless, she warned him about the trap and treated him quite kindly.
When LF heard Hiccup and Astrid, she then shot at them, almost killing them, but she didn't do it again, although she was going to (because she thought they were dangerous). Toothless's request stopped her. It wasn't Toothless's blow, not aggression, but a request that prompted her to simply fly away instead of continuing the attack. LF didn't want to kill or harm anyone, she was just defending herself.
2) During the flight from the old Berk to the new Berk, Light Fury flew after the main characters. And at some point she… grabbed Hiccup and threw him into open flight to free Toothless.
She was caught by hunters, of course, the first thing she could think was that a human had captured night fury. That's why she was surprised when Toothless flew to save Hiccup.
3) And my favorite. In the end, when Grimmel shot Toothless, and Hiccup managed to free Light Fury from the poison muzzle, she could have just flown away after the troubles that happened, but she didn't. She saved Toothless, and more importantly, LF could save ONLY Toothless. But she went back for Hiccup, caught him before he crashed into the ocean water.
She smiled warmly at him. She recognized Hiccup as good. And she calmly let him touch her when she wanted to check on Toothless.
And I didn't mention half of the cases where LF shows herself on the good side.
That's why I like Light Fury not only externally, but also as a character. She is brave (but careful), loyal, and not malicious. LF didn't hurt anyone, she returned to Toothless so many times, and in the end she overcame her distrust of people when she saw Hiccup's sacrifice.
Light Fury is one of my favorite How to Train Your Dragon characters. She evokes only positive emotions in me. Both as a kind of dragon and as a character.
