Hiccup the First lore doodle dump

Hiccup saved Wodensfang in the midst of the first human-dragon war, despite the Wodensfang being sent to kill him.

Hiccup was the first human to befriend a dragon and learn to speak Dragonese.

The humans were losing the war, so Wodensfang brought Hiccup the Dragonsword that contained the Dragon Jewel, which if broken, would cause all dragons to go extinct.

Hiccup used the Dragon Jewel to banish Merciless/the Green Death, ending the war and saving his people.

Hiccup spent the rest of his life leading his kingdom with the Dragonmark as its symbol, to honour his friendship with Wodensfang. The first Dragonmark, placed on his forehead, was made from his blood and the blood of Wodensfang.

Hey yall! Have I ever mentioned how much I freaking love how to train your dragon? Anywho, I did a little cover design for class last semester so I wanted to show it off here, cause I’m still really proud of it. About 12 or 13(?) hours of work on this bad boy!

Guess who started to read the books. Me. I read the 1st and 2nd in one sitting, 3rd in another and made it half way to 4th today I also finished the 4th and wish I had the 5th with me but sadly its home and I have 6 hours beforeI go home ;-;

I am working on my designs but I might make more fanart as the book fandom needs it. The books are so underrated ;-;

Also! if you are a fan of the books or the movie I beg of you listen to Sigur Rós or Jónsi (who is part of Sigur Rós and also made songs for the movies) they’re fantastic
