I can't be the only one who finds it weird that the SBG webtoon dub made Ben sound like that, I know that their intention was probably trying to be inclusive for the people who went through something similar to him so they would feel seen but if I went through something like that I wouldn't think that they're trying to be inclusive, I would have thought that they were making fun of people that went through that like me. Either that or they wanted to make it accurate to his backstory but I still think that its like they're making fun of people like him, I don't understand why they didn't just gave him a normal voice like in the YT SBG dub.

I know you're an Ashler lover but what are your opinions on Beer/Tyler × Ben??👀

it's a ship that makes sense but doesn't compel me personally. i'm a big ashler/tylyn shipper and have a hard time seeing them with other characters unless i turn them in a throuple (big fan of tylynben or benashler idk what the official name for this trio lol)

but to answer your question, i think one of my favorite things about them is that tyler took ben under his circle fairly quickly and seems to hold a soft spot for him (in the sense that he offered to teach him how to play guitar in his busy time just because he knows how much ben loved to sing and how much music means to him)

i also love the genuine care ben expresses when it comes to tyler's safety and health, especially during scenes where he patches up his injury.

to me, this ship is all about actions speaking louder than words, and proving to each other that they are still capable of showing moments of tenderness amidst the cruelty and violence they have both faced against the world!

it's also a plus that they're both very protective of their sisters, which to me is such a cute little trait they both share (and can potentially bond over)

There's a lot of ship dynamics that I love and enjoy in the sbg fandom but one of the ones I find interesting is Taylor and Aiden's, they're both are two completely different people raised in two different environments which impacted how they are now and what I think exactly makes them work.

Taylor is observant, level-headed, emotionally intelligent and not afraid to speak up about how she feels. Aiden on the other hand is implosive, rash, chaotic and very closed off about how he feels. Not to mention they've both been neglected by their parents, Taylor and Tyler because of Mariana's depression and Aiden because of his parents seemingly not caring about him.

Taylor is in my opinion the perfect match for him because she would always know when something is wrong when his smile doesn't reach his eyes and reassure him that she's always there for him. She's exactly the type of person he needs in his life, someone that would be there for him, someone that could be his rock and keep him grounded, someone that could be his light at the end of a tunnel.
