partially-managed mental illness is so fucking funny i'll be sitting around doing my job and suddenly think "wow i hate myself" and immediately get confused because, like, that's not TRUE! i love myself so much. who are you to talk to me like that
If Aiden was a girl do what hair do we think he'd have?? Long, medium, short?? Pixie, braided, ponytail??
so i did something
god knows her curl pattern is damaged beyond saving
she loves it
LOOK AT HERRRRRRđ„đ„đ„đ„đ„
Please please give me ur hot takes on sbg I want to see how many I agree with
I think this is a hot take because i HAVE seen people go against this but I kinda hope sbg stays as a smaller fandom. Itâs grown a little lately and has attracted some interesting people (aka people writing smut of the gang) and Iâm not particularly happy with that đ
Iâm not sure if the fandom is exactly niche or not but it should stay small. Weâll all just have to put in enough work and stuff to make it seem bigger than it is
honest to god im blaming webtoon and their shitty aidlyn-bait marketing
Survival instincts of a moodboard maker

I need logan being a little shit just for the sake of being a little shit please and thank you
and everyone who says isn't she lovely is "The Jax Song"? we're sending your soul to Yaldabaoth
a kilogramme or steehl or a kilogramme of fĂŠthas
100000 cans of redbull
same anon that apparently left you at a loss of words for an hour LMAO (loved that reply twinâ don't fight bears)
coming off your recent analysis, I like to think Logan's little "you're the one in a wheelchair" bit was a tad bit impulsive cause that's what happens around friendsâyou don't mean to "insult" them, it's js natural.
(also we (yes we) fucking loved tylers expression you cannot represent "at a loss for words" better than that)
it was the result of months of warming up to each other and spending time together, as well as building trust and slowly testing the waters. I imagine it wasn't the very first of Logan's quips towards one of the twins, but it was the first done with absolute confidence and in a pretty serious situation. Everything else was most basic harmless teenager friend stuff like teasing for being bad at a card game or joking around or giving the person bunny ears in a group picture. At that point, Logan has been (somewhat subconsciously) testing boundaries for months and has been gaining confidence in himself when he saw that the twins, in fact, had nothing against him and actually quite liked playfully going back-and-forth with people (even if Tyler refused to acknowledge it, deeming it a waste of time)
So it was only fair that, at one point, a remark like 'you're the one in the wheelchair' would just come out before he's even thought twice of it. Maybe he felt a little nervous when Tyler, for a moment, actually looked angry, but they are friends and he knows it. He knows Tyler isn't actually wishing him harm in the way Barron was. He knows Tyler is not anything like Barron.
I also like to imagine that Tyler's expression is not about him being angry at the quip itself, but it's the more pragmatic/serious side of Tyler showing up in a dangerous situation. Teasing is fun and all, but they are fighting for their lives as they speak and the phantoms are gaining in numbers. Tyler even says that the gang should hurry. A joke like that was more than expected to come from Aiden, so when it's, of all people, Logan, who Tyler thought to be a person to take a situation like this seriously, too, his flabbers are quite gasted......
("really, Fields, now?")
I don't think a lot of people understand how bad it actually is that we're getting a Haunting Adeline movie.
They will think we WANT to get raped.
(Not to mention how insensitive this is to rape and/or stalking victims)
EDIT: I found a petition to stop the film adaptation! Let's stop this together!
Stop the Film Adaptation of Haunting Adeline: Abuse Should Never Be Marketed as Romance.
see him schmoove
probably my favorite thing about tyler's character is that he is so empathetic but he is still a deeply guarded character, bordering on cynical in nature. he trusts no one and expects no help from anyone.
and yet.
he did not fight back when ashlyn calls his paranoia out, and listened to her.
he is the first one to spot barron bullying logan and is the first one to step up.
he has offered to teach ben how to play guitar after learning about ben's past willingly.
he has indulged aiden's penchant for humor (even at the worst of times)
he has comforted ashlyn more than once when she starts to doubt her leadership or blame herself for getting them into this mess.
he took on the role as taylor's primary guardian at a young age right after taylor tells him she was hungry, and he's never regretted his decision once.
so frequently are the bleeding heart characters portrayed in media as someone emotionally intelligent/intuitive than logical-analytical, and so their worldview is often implied to be a consequence of naivety, childishness, or wishful thinking.
so for a character like tyler to be so explicitly compassionate and also explicitly logical, closed off, and guarded actively fights off against that stereotype and says yeah, empathy is actually a conscious choice. compassion is not a magical tool only wielded by those who wear their heart on their sleeves, it is a decision. it is an active one at that, because the character is only given two choices: either choose to offer or show empathy, or walk away from it.
and we constantly see tyler choosing the first option time and time again in the webtoon.
like, he's definitely far from being the most emotionally intelligent in the group (that title obviously belongs to tay), but i think people don't give him enough credit for always choosing to be empathic despite all that's happened to him.
oh tyler hernandez, one day of these days fandom will understand you.
Never let me have anything ever again
