Please report any harassment witnessed in the SW fandom (be it hate speech or repeated and unwanted contact to fans or SW employees) on tumblr or twitter. Reports may come as anonymous messages identifying blogs or posts in tags that qualify as harassment or hate speech. However, if you can, please send screencaps directly by submission or direct message. Do not omit names, as the validity of the report will not hold. upon inspecting comments on a post about Gina Carano for any updates on that twitter situation, I came across this blog’s comment. Blog has a history of going onto other people’s posts and making transphobic (and possibly asexual-exclusionary) comments. Screencaps provided here because it is made clear this blog enjoys harassing people. I recommend blocking to avoid any anonymous trolling or unwanted commentary on posts. Blog does not look very Star Wars related outside of the name and icon, but interaction with the GC post signifies this user’s engagement with SW content. To be added to blocklist for transphobia and harassment on properly tagged posts.

So upon checking the blog (loveable’s blog) everything is in anti reylo tag and it’s vent posts. No reylo blog is mentioned or screenshot

There’s no form of harassment just from making a vent blog and doing just that. So for that they won’t be added to blocklist. Please refer to our guidelines post, thank you

I’ve been made aware of the twitter situation with Gina Carano from the Mandalorian cast. Be aware that @dataracer, which has been mentioned here before as being purposefully misleading and part of the fandom menace, has been collecting and posting screencaps of various twitter accounts who contacted GC to speak on BLM. If anyone has instances of harassment and/or hate speech, either towards fans or cast, feel free to drop it here. Due to my and mod K’s not having twitter accounts, we will not be actively following the situation.

Found more screencaps of JB being called “Juan”, “Juanito” and referring to him as a servant (most likely suggesting a career failure). Things to note, for anyone who doesn’t see the problem with this: not only is this racist for putting JB in a subservient role to another, white, cast member but also giving him Latino names as a diss and way to keep the tweets out of searches goes in the barrel of calling POC racially stereotyped names. It’s double-tiered racism to use a Latino name to suggest the poverty of and/or disrespect for a Black person. These tweets look attached to the awards ceremony JB attended a while back and to his BLM speech, which means these Latino names are ongoing terms used for him. As stated before on here, neither I nor mod K use or monitor twitter so these were found in tags calling out the users. They will be added to blocklist for racial stereotyping.

Seems some previously documented blogs here got bored and circled back to swh posts, and pretty much proved the point of this blog’s recording crosstag instances based on intent. The submitted blogs use crosstagging as a way to initiate hate and, in this case, harassment. Seems to be the same circle of troll blogs, all of which have been mentioned here before in some shape or form for spamming and/or attempting to harass bloggers (princessnijireiki, bigprettygothgf, omegaverse, spacegirltwirl, garfimbo, radioactive-babe). Though some new ones joined the game (waitmode, who submitted 75 times, all of which vanished the second we blocked the url lol, so note that for yourselves when dealing with spammers) or tried to follow the blog and were blocked (limelemonlimehomer, worm-with-a-knife, simp-cel, canstonesbestoned). These screenshots are a sample of stuff we received in the past two days, not including some rather creative anonymous text submissions made today after we closed photo submissions to avoid gore/gross content. My personal favorite was Stomped on My Petunias, which as a prose stole my heart immediately. Mod K favored the McCartney number. Original screencap posts that opened up this can of gummy worms were reblogged here (the ones that have quite a number of notes) and people are welcome to look through it for trolls to avoid and block.

As for the anons: point made again. A lot of the animosity online tends to be this kind of content, so it’s frequently documented here. Hate speech, suicide baiting and more serious offenses, so far, are less frequent (thank god) in the tags we monitor. Though, if it’s not submitted or tipped to, we can never know the scope of things that, say, are untagged or not in the tags we occasionally scan. And, as stated before: if anyone is open to moderating this kind of archiving blog that is a multi-shipper (like mod K), a non-reylo or non-shipper, we would be more than happy to welcome them in order to check bias and expand vigilance in tags/community. However, we continue to respect requests to remain out of ship tags so, no, we will not be recruiting there. Our apologies to anonymous tippers and submitters for having to turn off some aspects of swh. It is temporary, and should be back up soon.

Did scan of ship and anti- tags, and found two instances of crosstagging- one of which, the first, was told not to tag if it doesn’t relate to finnrey yet it remains in there. The post does mention Finn and Rey, implying the ask would apply to that ship as well so tagging is debatable but possibly done passive aggressively. The second crosstag incident was found by Mod K and the blog has at least one other instance of crosstagging to agitate. Also found an ask response giving screenshots of what appears to be a tweet that maliciously crops out JB from a photo and calls him “juanet”. OP’s name was cropped out either by the person answering the anon, or by whoever they received the images from. - Mod L
