I just want to say that people with a lot of scars, missing limbs, extra digits, missing facial features (eyes, lips, ears, nose, all of the above), cleft lips or anything of the sort are not "body horror".

Not to do some late night bitchin’ but does anyone else ever have f/os where the fandom only values them for ships they’re included in?

I know it sounds hypocritical coming from the yumeship blog but I just notice this uptick where people will moreso value a character as a part of a ship. And. Not as a well.

Character.

Where browsing fanart or tags becomes an actual fucking nightmare because every post is about said ship. Almost as if the character, by the fandom, only exists as an asset of the pairing.

It makes it really hard for me because I genuinely really value these characters AS characters. It’s the reason I fell for them. But it sometimes, idk makes it frustrating.

Makes it worst when the ship isnt even that good- WHO SAID THAT??
