ST3-003 Update

After numerous delays, some unforeseen, we are happy to announce that the BottomFeeder tapes will finally see the "light of day" within the next week. They were processed at the duplicators today and should be in shortly (hopefully the next day or so) for labeling and packaging. Once thats all done they will be available via the ST3 bandcamp page and of course at the bands shows. Thanks again.

ST3-004 Info

We're conforming with technology on this one. ST3-004 (at first) will be a 10 song CD by OCNY punk band Entropy titled "Out of Spite." Entropy recently spent some time at Nada Recording Studios with John Naclerio (Polar Bear Club, Nightmares for a Week, No Trigger)  where they layed down tracks for ten songs that are probably the most tough sounding songs four guys who's collective weight is probably under 600 pounds can be. CD's are expected to be ready by the end of March/early April. You can stream "Intention Tension" from "Out of Spite" and read the track listing below-

ST3-003 Info

Don't worry, we know how to count. ST3-002 will be released in July, so were not gonna announce it for at least another few weeks. While we got you here though, Station 3 Records is beyond excited to let you all know we will be releasing a tape from New Jersey's modern hardcore super-group, Bottomfeeder. Bottomfeeder was formed in 2011 and features members from the Gaslight Anthem, Let Me Run, Gates, and Jaguar Shark. All of which are fantastic bands on their own, so when all creative forces are put together, you know it means business. The four songs (listed below) are also featured on a 10-inch vinyl put out through Human Blood Records. The tape will be available mid to late April and you will be able to purchase one (of the limited to 50) cassettes from the band or through the Station 3 Records bandcamp page. Crossing state lines......

ST3-002 will be by a band from the Garden State. We'll be waiting until we're actually in the process of making the tapes to let you know. I know plenty of people will want these and they will mostly be available online at first, so we may actually wait until we post them for sale to tell you all.

We went in for a "meeting" regarding ST3-002 (tentative July release) and we came out discussing hopeful plans for ST3-003. Keep on rocking in the free world, folks, cause we sure as hell are.

Release Party Thanks and What to Expect...

Despite four other shows going on in the area, having a really solid turnout of roughly 100 people is pretty good to me. Once again want to thank all the bands (Barro, A Film in Color, Atlas, Entropy, and of course Dead Channels), as well as the Tuscan Cafe for letting us have a spot for all of it to go down. 

As for what we will release as ST3-002, will remain a mystery for sometime. We're going through some ideas at the moment, so don't expect us to answer seriously if you ask us the next release. We'll probably say Kiss-Alive on 6.66 inch vinyl at 420 RPM's or something.

Theres no good shows and everyone complains. Theres 4 solid shows on one night in the area and everyone complains. Obviously we hope you're at our release show, but just know that ours is going to kick ass regardless. We'll have the image above (done by Evan Schlomann) for sale on a nice 11x17 print at the show in addition to our tapes. Probably some free stickers also. Come out, we'll have a good time no matter what.

ST3-001 Official Info

It is with great pleasure that we announce our first release. Our first release will be the "Flamethrower EP + 2 Songs" by Orange County, NY's very own Dead Channels. The release consists of songs previously available through the band digitally only. However after hearing the band was interested in celebrating their original releases through a physical format, we here at ST3 saw it fit to help such a humble and hardworking group. Heres "the skinny" in fancy bullet format for all of you to read-

First pressing:50 white cassette tapes

Digital download code included (features bonus track-not on tape)

Free Station 3 sticker (not that exciting, but it looked weird with two bullet points)

The cassette is the original demo and EP the band released, technically, amidst their infancy, but the songs give off vibes of a band that has been at it for years. With a dynamic post-hardcore sound reminiscent of Quicksand or Thrice at times, the tape also displays moments similar to bands such as the Bronx by showing a more straight-foward modern punk sound. The cassette will be available at the end of January through the band and Station 3 Records. Tracklisting is as follows
