odyssey bake week episode where one or a few famous bakers and pastry chefs come aboard and the guests just spend a whole week learning how to bake all sorts of things

cue the regular scheduled drama of people getting into fights because ‘he stole my fucking icing sugar’ ‘how dare you i had it first’ and people getting salmonella or something because let’s face it, not everyone’s cut out for baking.

also! at the end of the week there’s a little showcase where everyone can show off their best creations

and amidst all of this, despite multiple reminders that it is in fact, not, a competition, ody3 start their own thing to see who comes up with the best dessert. this then involves the three of them trying to keep whatever it is they’re making a secret from each other and it’s hilarious because when the last day arrives and they all reveal what they’ve made, it’s three of the exact same thing

(there’s definitely a hidden message behind it. it’s that they’re all meant to be)

just finished my odyssey rewatch and god i might tear my hair out with how frustrated the ending leaves me. like WDYM that’s it. i feel like i barely know each of the characters, especially tristan i love him so much i need a minimum of two episodes delving into his backstory (the same goes for everyone else actually)

letting myself imagine what my ody3’s future might’ve looked like because we were ROBBED of at least five more odyssey seasons…

i think season two could’ve definitely began with avery returning from med school, and while i genuinely have no idea how med school works or if that’d even be possible, i think the dynamic of her and max being equally titled and qualified would be so interesting

and also then their relationship with tristan, especially tackling max’s insane avoidant tendencies (siri play the bolter) and how tristan and max’s relationship could grow because c’mon. maybe when they aren’t being stupid competing over avery, they’d actually realise how good they are together as well.

bonus scene where another hot guy that lowkey looks just like max comes aboard and tristan gets very involved with him and max gets unbelievably jealous and looks at avery and is like, ‘how are you okay with this?’ and avery’s like, ‘how about we focus on why you’re not?’ and bam. except it takes this idiot a good two more episodes to do something about it.

i know it probably won't happen but if they made gay eddie canon and titled that episode 'eddie begins again' and it showed us his childhood in el paso and falling for his childhood best friend while not knowing what the feeling actually was and them falling out of touch because his friend got out of that small town while eddie couldn't because he had to stay because it was the right thing to do. but even after years pass eddie still thinks of him and wonders if he's happier. then we're shown eddie back in the present with chris back in el paso, still there, still miserable. his relationship with chris is better now, but he doesn't want to jeopardise that by pushing him to go home, where buck is, so he stays quiet. then one day, as eddie's wandering the isles of a grocery store, he runs into him. or well, he runs into eddie. calls his name. they talk, eddie learns he lives in boston now, in a nice apartment with his husband and their two cats, and that he's a writer, just like he always said he'd be. he tells eddie he's back in town for his sister's wedding, and eddie will nod, with a small smile just enough to be polite. then his old friend will say, "you know, back then, i always had a crush on you." and eddie will blink. "are you with anyone now?" and eddie will blink again, and try his best not to think about buck, and his bright beautiful smile. eddie will swallow thicky and say, "i- how did you know?" "know what?" "that you felt- that you feel-" "that you love them?" he says kindly. eddie nods. "if you have to ask, you probably do. but- if they make you smile, if you never have to question what they mean to you, and vice versa, if they're the one you think to call whether it's good or bad, or when there's no news at all, then it's them." and all eddie sees are sparkling blue eyes. with a hasty goodbye, he runs out of there, drives back to the house, talks to chris for a minute before he realises they both hate it here, then they're packing their bags, tossing them in the car, and on the drive back, eddie calls him. "buck? hey, we're coming home."
