Dick Grayson Sentence Starter #3
@stayâsatan : HI i really hope youâre having a nice day!!!!! ALSO, I really liked your idea so can I request âthis/it will be mineâ with dick grayson?
A/n: I got a stroke of genius at like, 2:00 AM but I was too tired to start writing it that early in the day. Unfortunately, this isnât very good⊠And Iâm sorry for writing so many Dick sentence starters lately; I got a lot of requests for him.
âThis will be mine.â You said to Nightwing as you plucked his other escrima stick from his hand before knocking him to the ground. He had spent a long time tracking you down again, but he wasnât expecting it to be even harder to catch you this time.
Before the vigilante could attempt to get back up, you pounced onto his back and tied his wrists together, and then his ankles. âHave I ever told you that I hate you more than your aunt?â Nightwing grumbled as you picked him up and put him in the chair you already had prepared. You had easily adapted to his fighting style after going against him so many times.
âMultiple times, pretty boy.â You purred as you lightly trailed your claws down his muscular chest. Your aunt was Catwoman, a.k.a. Selina Kyle. You followed in her footsteps originally as her protĂ©gĂ©, but you both decided that you were ready to branch off on your own⊠with weekly visits and team-ups, of course. âHowâd you find me this time, hmm?â
Nightwing snorted and you heard him roll his eyes. âYou left such a mess behind you last time, it was too easy.â Cogs and gears started turning in his head. The wreck, the obvious signs, the trail you left⊠too easy. âYou-â
âMaybe I wanted to to come here,â You traced his Nightwing symbol in a way that made him shiver, and you didnât fail to notice it. âMaybe I wanted you to myself,â you put a finger under his chin and tilted his head up to look him in the eye. âWe donât get as much playtime as we used to, Boy Wonder.â
Back when Nightwing was Robin, Batman always went after Catwoman and Robin always went after you. Now that the both of you were fresh adults, and with Nightwing being the leader of his team, you barely got to see him.
The relationship between you two was similar to the one between Catwoman and Batman. You flirted with Robin like a pro, and he returned it after his initial blush. You played the game of cat and mouse and you always got away, but you left him yearning for your presence the moment you disappeared. On his fifteenth birthday, you kissed him, and he kissed right back with no hesitation. No restraint. No regrets. It was a romance born from a rivalry over the line of good and bad; bitter but sweet, a forbidden fruit plucked from its tree. But that era of your lives was over.
âMissed me that much, huh?â Nightwing asked and a small smirk spread across his flawless face. âIf you wanted to see me, you could have just asked. I would have brought flowers.â
âIf it wasnât a problem, Iâd have called you up a long time ago,â You sat on his lap with a grin. âBut Batmanâs been after me a lot more lately. I guess Iâve been misbehaving more than usual.â
Nightwing pondered. âWell, it worked. Thatâs why Iâm here; he called me in so he could deal with âmore serious mattersâ, while I deal with you,â He glanced around the room, and then looked you up and down. âNot that Iâm complaining too much. I could do without by wrists being tied up, though.â
âYou could also easily get yourself out, I know that. But you missed me too much.â
Nightwing held his gloved hands up. âDid I?â He felt a little bad when a disappointed look flashed across your face, and he realized how serious he must have sounded.
âYouâve changed more than I thought.â You said, and he thought you were genuinely offended as you got off his lap. Your flirtatious attitude seemed to disappear.
Nightwing couldnât tell if you were serious or not; he really did care for you, but even the smallest amount of time with you was difficult to obtain.
âIf you need anything, you know where to find me.â You had a nearly invisible smirk and you took out your whip, using it to go out the window and to swing to the next rooftop.
Nightwing sighed in disappointment. He had the chance to finally hang out with you and he blew it. He ran a gloved hand through his hair before looking on the floor to get his escrima sticks. Nightwing paused, and then groaned. He sprinted over to the window and shouted to you, âHey! I need those!â
Your distant laugh rang out and echoed in the air as your smirk graced your lips. You felt accomplished knowing that your act worked. Catwoman taught you well.
With a wicked grin, Nightwing jumped out the window and fired his grappling gun. He was laughing as he went after you, just like old times.
THIS IS SO BAD, IâM SORRY
