I think social media has gotten us to forget this but: you don’t have to speak on something for you to have acknowledged it. Reacting doesn’t have to be public, and you are not a bad person for not publicly reacting. Just because you have not made a show of something on your social media does not mean you don’t care or are ignoring the problem. A simple ‘I have seen it and know what’s going on’ is enough. Issues materialize when people who know nothing feel obligated to speak. Too much noise in the air.
